Food was absolutely amazing! Got the bacon cheddar burger so delicious my mom got the gyro plate nice and fresh..our server was awesome! Village Square never disappoints. The manager there was so nice.

Great Medieval style atmosphere.
Got the beer battered cod dinner once and the Ribs /chicken tenders once they were all delicious. Also had skins as an app and the french onion soup is the best i have ever had. The onions literally melt in your mouth!
I love the Rum flight-darling little glasses with 4 different tropical rum drinks. Almost got 2!
We will be coming again frequently as we look forward to trying everything on the menu!

Son loves coming here for the popcorn and knight pictures. Very picky eat and will happily eat there chicken strips. The specialty drinks are all delicious and the food is always good. Service is always good too. Whole family always enjoys coming here!

The service was excellent. the food was a cut above typical restaurant food. I was pleasantly surprised by the mushrooms in the French dip. we tried the sagnaki flaming cheese dish and that was delicious and entertaining. I had a few Blue Knight drinks to round out the meal. great time!.

Had my first visit here with some family. Everyone enjoyed the flaming cheese and all food got good reviews. My berry salad with basil vinaigrette was delicious - it's rare to find so many good salad choices at a place with so many meat options. In addition to the extensive regular menu there were lunch specials, so everyone had plenty of options to choose from. Our waiter was friendly and attentive, frequently checking on us, removing empty plates, and filling water glasses. Christmas decor was a cozy touch.

Great food...even better service! Has to be the best restaurant in McHenry by far. If you stop in, you have to ask for Carrie to be your server. She made our dinner so much fun with her infectious laugh and attention to our table. The manager, Tony, even checked on us and kept our popcorn bowl full! I can't wait to go back!

Best avgolemeno soup. Great service. Dine in or take out order is always correct. Prices are competitive. Free popcorn dine in or pick up. Winters the fireplace is so cozy. Summer we are there for the mai tai's.. ok.. winter too. Burgers to Prime Rib, huge menu to meet all dietary needs.

This is a really cool place to eat! Great live music, great service, and excellent food. Don’t miss the saganaki!

We had a great meal today and it is Fat Tuesday so I order a Zombie drink and a Mardi Gras themed lunch. The Shrimp Po Boy and Chicken Gumbo was delicious.

Had my mother's wedding dinner there, on Friday night. Even though the restaurant got busy, we were never neglected, we had Lisa as our server and she was so amazing!! Not only was she on point with service, but she went above and beyond to help my mom and her new husband by putting cards into present pile, and making sure the wedding guest book was passed around and signed by everybody. I was maid of honor and she saved me having to worry about those things without even being asked! And she lent us her best pen, which to a server, is a big deal. I was a restaurant GM, as well as a server and bartender, and honestly I was extremely impressed by her and the way the party was handled all around! Absolutely nailed it. Food was amazing as well and we didn't feel rushed. Would give more than 5 stars if I could, thank you Lisa and the whole staff for making my mom's big day perfect! You guys rock!!! Already have been a customer there every few months, but I will definitely be coming in more often. 🖤
Btw- ceremony went quicker than we thought and they even accommodated us earlier than we had scheduled. I wasn't sure what to expect as I've never done a party there, but bride, groom and guests were all blown away. THANK YOU GUYS 🙏

We have been here several times in the past few months. Good choices, even for diabetics. Great food and staff. Still great! Visited again and once again exceeded expectations.

Squire is my favorite restaurant! I’ve been coming here since I was little and it’s never disappointing. The staff is wonderful and the food is amazing. Prices have increased the last few years but so has everything else. I couldn’t recommend this place more! McHenry’s location is my favorite- the honey mustard is to die for!

It’s so lovely here! The menu is very cool and they have plenty of good options for everyone. I love the ambience and how clean the whole place is. Friendly staff too. The saganaki is a super fun dish - it’s basically cheese that they light on fire and tastes awesome. The best part is the live music nights. We always come for Doug Wolff. He is such an amazing musician that plays plenty of Neil Young, John Denver, Van Morrison, and other classics. What an awesome place!

This was our first time here, came for my birthday. The prime rib was amazing! The upgrade to baked French onion soup was to die for. The burger was awesome. We will definitely be back to try more things. So glad we chose to drive an hour! It was worth it

My husband and I were looking for a new restaurant to try and we stumbled upon this one. We had a great first experience here last night. The food was delicious and our waiter, Antonio (I believe his name was) was great! He was attentive, friendly, and upbeat. We will definitely be back here!
