Louie's Grille

Traveling from Boston to Arcadia. I stopped here at 8:55 with a party of six.. This place went out of there way to serve us and make us feel.like home.. The food was the best I've had so far in Maine. It was good American food with a variety of menu items. I especially likes the Mac and cheese.

Delicious and swift. Scallops was the order of the day and we all cleared our plates. Even though the haddock came a bit over done, it was still delish. And the desert are to die forq

Had to wait a long time due to the large number of guests, but it was worth it. “Bruno’s” ravioli was amazing.

Food was awesome. We had the fish n chips and the chicken, broccoli chicken alfredo

The service was great. We had a party of 9. Yes, we called ahead and they accommodated us.
Arrangements were made ahead of time for a cake. They brought it out singing!

My goodness I have missed Louie’s! I just had the BEST scallop risotto with perfectly cooked steamed broccoli and a Cesar salad. It was SO great to chat with Jim and see great local friends that I have not seen in many months. Grateful for this great place to gather for good food and drinks.

LOVE this restaurant. Real people. Consistently wonderful food. Fresh salads. Perfect portions. They make us feel at home every time we eat here. Take out is our favorite this season :)

Best Reuben sandwich ever!

Nice atmosphere. Love the dog decorations. Service was very good for a busy night during the week. Impressed how hard everyone worked together. They never stopped ! Food was delicious. Will be going back.

I had take-out. The turkey blt... not on the menu, but they don't mind whipping up whatever you're looking for. It was terrific! The service was fast and friendly, and the sandwich was affordable, included chips and a pickle spear.

Update: I've been eating here at least once every couple of months for the past 2 years and I've had nothing but good experiences and yummy food. The atmosphere is cozy, the staff are friendly and efficient, and the food is wonderful.

I rate this my overall FAVORITE restaurant! The service there was AMAZING and they made you feel like part of the family. I had my eleventh b-day there and they turned Down the lights and had the whole diner sing happy birthday. It was truly amazing. I hope that someday this restaurant gets a 5 star rating instead of 4.6. Good luck with future customers! (I will definitely be one.)

Such an at home atmosphere! Everything is so good on the menu it makes it hard to pick what to get sometimes, in the best way! Everyone is always so friendly and great service!!

My reviews are perhaps slanted to businesses that are locally owned. This is a great place to go out to eat. The owner is always there and working and watching and it shows. Easy 5 stars and worth the drive for me all the way from Augusta - about 40 miles. You have to work to find this place off the beaten path but Google will get you there easily.

This was such a cute place. They had there own garden outback used for fresh ingredients and a smoker outback. We arrived after 2pm, not realizing they close fron 3pm to 430pm and they were more than happy to serve us and didn't get upset when we stayed past 3pm finishing our meal.

This is a great location, with plenty of offstreet parking out back. The staff was very friendly, and I suspect the owner likes to promote each of the seasons. All of the food tasted great, and the desserts were scrumptious as well.

What a hidden gem! Staff was attentive and very friendly, even with the new rules with the pandemic. Food was amazing, with gluten freen options for just about everything. Atmosphere was wonderful, even on the deck! Would highly recommend!

I was impressed with the safety precautions they had in place. My bloody mary was delicious! I had the mussels appetizer which was wonderful. My friend had a burger and they were happy to accommodate her keto friendly requests. We will definitely be back.

Great place for lunch, dinner, or drinks. And they have really great homemade desserts! The specials are always good! The food is made with love and comes through with the service. Great for a lunch date or for dinner with the family.

A hidden gem. Named for owners dog Louie. Small comfortable family style restaurant. HUGE burgers, unusual homemade soups, accommodating chef and staff. Only baked sea scallops on menu, but they served fried clams. Chef fried our scallops when we asked. A case of their delicious pies and cheesecake are near the entrance for those too full to have dessert

They use blue mango veggie burgers!!! Our waitress, Hannah, was super friendly which always makes going out to eat more pleasant. I wish they used hand cut fries, that would have made the meal more amazing.

I am a frequent visitor to Louie's Grille in Cumberland Center, Maine. The menu offers an attractive variety of choices, and I've found the food to be delightful. The staff are friendly, and pleasant all the time. I feel that I'm treated like their favorite customer. The restaurant is cozy. It has an intimate ambiance, and I always feel at home. The place was named in honor of Louie, the family's Golden Retreiver. How cool is that ?
This is my go to place for lunch.
