St. Mary Catholic Church

Nothing makes a day better than Gods good people in Gods good grace. With all that's going on these days, thankfully there are places to escape too, to find tranquility, to find peace, to find sanctuary, to find yourself.

Saint Mary's is a beatiful brick shrine Catholic Church located on
North Richmond Road and West Grand Avenue in McHenry, Illinois.

The architecture is rich in craftsmanship and symbolism, with spires that ascend upward to announce from afar the glory of the Immaculate Mother and Patroness
who welcomes her attendees home.

Colorful Stained Glass Windows heighten the splendor of the services
and in the suns vivid rays each window depicts a story from the sacred scriptures.
At special times the meridian of direct light casts a glorious and harmonious hue of color which breaths a "living light" on the beauty of her statues, paintings and alter.

Saint Mary's Church is a respected icon and pilliar of faith and is know for many activities that promote a family atmosphere and various blessings within the community.

I visited this place because of the amazing architecture and I had to take photos for photography class. I didn't run into anyone there at the time but the photos I will charisb forever.

One of the best churches I have ever been to. People are very kind & I felt very comfortable there.

Any time people can get together for good is a great thing

I grew up here and have great memories of this church.
