Channahon Park District Central Park

It's a great area to have a party. There is a bit of a bee issue but if you don't bother them they won't bother you. There are many things your guests can do, lots of space to play soccer, softball, kickball or volleyball. There is a kids area with slides and things to climb on that was really close to the covered area. Overall a great place to visit and have fun outdoors.

Had a great time at the Kashmir concert. It's a perfect location 4 a nice evening and good music.

I feel like there is something for everyone in our family here. We love the playgrounds, the nature trail is great, I know my boys will enjoy the skate park when they are a little older, and the bathrooms/grounds are always clean and well maintained!

We loved this area, there are 3-4 parks all within walking distance great for all ages. Some parks had no mulch and rubber floor.

My little family can't afford to go out to attractions and such. This is the perfect alternative. Great playgrounds,place for walks, sports, picnicking. All for free.

Very nice park and facilities.

It's a great place for the whole family the main feature is a large shallow entrance. The water starts out at an inch and slowly works up to about 6 feet in the main part of the pool. The layout is perfect for kids just learning how to swim and adults who want to swim some laps.
We get a season pass every summer and love to spend out day here fron opening to closing. Also a perfect place to spend your day as the park also has a snack bar with everything from hotdogs to snowcones. The park also includes a sand pit for the younger kids during adult swim, a volleyball couret, and a decent size water slide.

Pick an event! The pool is fun in the summer. My son takes Ryukyu Kempo year round. Always something going on. The carnival during Three Rivers Fest is fun for all ages. There are public basketball courts and even an area to practice skateboarding or bike tricks.

We LOVE this place!!

I especially appreciate how the lifeguards go through drills to stay sharp.

Clean park and nice people!!

Wide variety of sports areas that are all kept very clean! Generally not too busy either, so it's easy to get a group to go play your favorite activity.

Kudos to the groundskeepers. Very well maintained facilities. Never see trash laying or weeds on the grass. Also, never see equipment broken down. The annual carnival is well managed. Thank you CPD.

Great facilities. Great playgrounds. Excellent fields for sporting events. Nice to have so many playgrounds for kids who may be attending games for older siblings

We enjoy many programs here. The rhythm and rhyme time is great for the little ones. And we’ll be back this fall for preschool.

Extraordinary adventures and fun for kids! My toddler did not want to leave. Safe for kids!

Love this park. The splash pad is great for the kids. They have several playground areas that are easy to keep track of.
