This place has been amazing with my cars. I have a 1991 Buick and a 2004 Corolla. Both cars have been in the shop and taken care of perfectly! Recently, my muffler pipe had a hole in it. They were able to get the part and get my car back to me less than 24 hours later! JR has worked on both these cars and he has done a phenomenal job. The manager, Miguel, is very personable and does his best to make sure everything is going the way it should be and on time! I truly appreciate the whole team there!

Great service two days before Christmas! Fast, efficient and great price for oil change and I used a coupon for free tire rotation. So much better than the service department at my dealership! THANK YOU!

My daughter had a blister in her tire, they were able to get us a new tire immediately and with little cost. Everyone was very nice, honest and helpful.

Blew out a tire and didn’t have an appointment. They got my car in within 45 min and even after running into some unforeseen issues, they got the job done quickly and the price I had been quoted was what I paid. Both management and the mechanic that worked on my car were incredible.

Miguel and Jeremy did an amazing job. Miguel showed and explain to me all that was wrong with my vehicle and explained my options. Jeremy did an amazing job. He took his time making sure everything that my vehicle was up to par. Jeremy is very efficient with his job. Both Miguel and Jeremy should get kudos on their job well done. I will definitely recommend this amazing team. I am extremely happy with the outcome.

JR and Joe are amazing. They are honest, reliable, and transparent. They got me in first thing, explained the issue to me, told me my options, and steered me in the best route of repair. They did excellent work! JR and Joe had my best intentions in mind. I cannot thank them enough!

JR and Joe here are the best. I had to come in last minute unexpectedly with the holiday weekend and these guys were great. They were able to get me in and out same day despite a larger than expected repair. They explained everything and definitely went above and beyond in making the customer feel comfortable when they are not car people. I can't recommend these guys these gentlemen enough. We will be back for any other issues with our family vehicles.

They are under new management and l was having my 24 year old Lincoln Town Car serviced there for 13 years but stopped when these young guys were there before and couldn't fix my car. The guys working there now are wonderful at their job! I will once again be taking my business to only CarX as long as the same managers are there!!! Thank you men for your great servive!

I have been bringing my cars to Car X in Mchenry for over 10 years. Not only do they do great work but they always have amazing people working there. J.R in particular has helped me out a lot, whether it be discounts or just over the top customer service. He helped me out a great deal with an issue I was having from the dealership I bought my car from. If that doesn’t scream outstanding, I really don’t know what does. It’s hard to find genuine people these days and J.R is definitely one of them! Keep up the amazing work! And thank you so much for all that you’ve done for me!

Not only were they the most kind in town when asking if I could just have my car looked at for my trip, they were the least expensive in town and my 18 hour drive went nice and smooth ! In addition Nick and Joey they helped replace my plate light others had had trouble with for free. Miguel in the lobby also was super sweet and we exchanged travel stories while the work was being done so time flew by! 10/10!

Had a tire blowout down the road. They got my car in quickly and had an overall great experience with them. I’ll be back for my service needs !

Thank you to Miguel and the staff for their professionalism, timely work and more than fair price in fixing my tire leak today. They patched the tire, and found the valve stem had a real small leak. They fixed it all and I was on the road in about an hour. While I was waiting, an older couple came in with a question about a repair for their Granddaughter, and Miguel was very caring and thorough with response to their questions. I highly recommend the new staff here. Thank you!

Thank you to the wonderful employees of Car-X. Visiting from out of state, we discovered our parked car had a flat tire. It was 3:00 PM on Saturday and we were leaving for home early Monday morning. I called Car-X, explained our situation and the manager said to bring it in and they would try to get at it. I got there and they were extremely busy. He said they would try and at the very least they would fix it on Monday morning. I told them I would appreciate anything they could do. At 5:00 PM, I received a call that they had repaired it. A young employee told me, with pride, that he was the one that repaired it and the manager said it had been a busy day but they wanted us to have a safe and pleasant trip to McHenry. Thank you for going above and beyond what was expected. We can all learn a lesson from your kindness!!

Absolutely wonderful people and fantastic service! JR and Nick helped me in my time of need! I recently got some work done at another shop and was having some issues as a result, leaving my Jeep undrivable. They looked at my vehicle and came up with a diagnosis eventhough it wasn't their work and at the end of their day. The entire team was super friendly and informative! 5 stars 🌟

The staff were not only friendly they were attentive and did everything possible to help diagnose the issue with my expedition. They went above and beyond to get parts and get me back on the road a couple of hours after I arrived. Great experience and I highly recommend them!

Got a rotation and oil change. Everyone was polite and efficient! I was in and out at a reasonable price. They even reset the trip miles at the end, which I appreciate!

I've been coming here for years and it was not always a very friendly location. Just came in today for a tire check and I noticed a major difference in the customer service. I spoke with Joe and he is legit. Best customer service that I have ever gotten at this location. Definitely noticeable difference in service, cleanliness and overall appearance of the service techs.
I will definitely be coming back now that Joe is here. Kudos to him and his team.
