Left Field Coffee Bar | Middleville

Just moved to the town over and this is my favorite little place to come visit. The coffee is great, lots of options on their menu. Love the goods for sale and the atmosphere. And I love how the back has more cozy seating!

Cute cozy cafe. We ordered a chai tea with coconut milk, the “prudence” latte (white chocolate and pistachio) and “Great Bambino” vegan chicken sandwiches. Everything was great! The coffee was perfectly smooth and the chai tea was far superior to any of the large coffee shop chains.

So many vegan chicken sandwiches will leave me feeling like I have a brick in my stomach. This one was light, delicious, and messy in the best possible way. The cloth napkins were greatly appreciated. I look forward to the next visit.

Absolutely worth checking out, if you haven't yet and absolutely worth returning, if you have. Coffee prices are similar/slightly under the chain places, which was surprising. The baked goods are a little pricey but it's 1000% deserved. They are literally perfect. The lemon bar I got was a work of culinary art in both texture and taste and my grandson loved his "fancy cookie". The atmosphere is one of acceptance and inclusion. It feels like somewhere you are going to have great conversations in and very likely meet fantastic new friends. I will be recommending to everyone that they check it out.

The best vegan chik'un sandwich around! We don't have many vegetarian choices being in a small town but this knocks it out of the park. My husband also loves their tomato soup and grilled cheese.

I’m so glad I finally wandered into this local café! Dare I say it was even better than my usual Starbucks run? The atmosphere, the support of local artists and the amazing flavor has me hooked. I can tell they roast their beans in house, so I had to buy a few bags to take home. Lindsey was so welcoming and it was nice to actually converse and hear some shop stories! Just another thing to add to the list of reasons why I’ll be back. Thanks for the phenomenal service and great coffee! ☕

Really amazing service with great coffee. They have their own roastery in the back of the store which is phenomenal. They have plenty of seating indoor and outdoor. They have single origin pourovers as well as other specialty coffee drinks. They also have canned cold brews. I highly recommend and will most definitely be back whenever I'm in town.

Heard nothing but awesome things about this place! Went in for the first time today and I loved everything about it! The coffee is awesome and the pastries are homemade which is AMAZING. And the service is excellent! I am looking forward to making this my go-to coffee shop!

First visit here and absolutely loved it! Customer Service was great!!! Highly recommend. Loved my delicious Gingerbread Vanilla Iced Latte and Cinnamon Roll.

Traveling through and stopped for caffeine- loved this little Cafe! I ordered the peanut butter caramel latte and it was amazing! But, even better, the shop supports local artisans, has non-douchey staff and an all-gender bathroom. Great coffee but kindness is what I felt ahead of the caffeine. Highly recommend!

This café has amazing drinks, a welcoming atmosphere, and helpful staff. It's quickly become my favorite place to hang out in Middleville! It has a wider array of drinks than just coffee, which is nice to choose from, but their coffee is also amazing! I love coming here as much as I can.

My husband and I have been buying beans and having them delivered to our front porch for over 2 years now. The quality is top notch and Johnny and the crew have turned us into coffee snobs. When we do make it into the store for a drink, we always say we need to do it more often. The baked goods are delicious too!

The cinnamon rolls are the best I ever had in my life, & my husband and I are professional bakers so that's saying A LOT!
Today I got the "COURAGE" drink AKA matcha, coconut, & mint... it's the most refreshing drink!!

Also I don't identify as leftist - but very very much appreciated the inclusive art, signage and general open & accepting vibe.
Everyone deserves to feel like they have a safe place to meet up with friends, organize, work... even in a small town, no, ESPECIALLY in a small town where spaces like that are so incredibly rare.
What an absolute oasis.

This place is such a delight. The coffee is roasted well, and the flavors are as they should be. Nothing burnt, either bright with the lighter roasts or earthy with the darker ones. The staff is friendly, and that Amanda girl has plenty of genuine smiles and helpfulness to go around. Overall, this a warm and inviting little cafe. I highly recommend a stop in. The fifth star may be added after I try your espresso. Cheers all, and see you soon.

Update: I returned to this fun little cafe. Amanda was there again, spreading happiness. I also met Tyler, the slider slinging cook in the kitchen. Again, excellent staff and service. Anyway, you're still reading this for the espresso. It's worth the wait. It's silky and easy to drink. Dear coffee lovers, please try this. There's no reason to mix it into a cappuccino or latte. The espresso is made from a couple of their dark roasts. Full of earthy, chocolate flavors. Thank you Left Field crew.

My weekly trip to Left Field is something I look forward to. The coffee is high quality, smooth and delicious. They offer some baked goods as well but you haven't lived until you have tried the cinnamon rolls. I also look forward to seeing Johnny the owner. He's friendly, helpful and always makes you feel like your his best customer.

This is a cafe built with love. The coffee and baked goods are excellent. It is clean and comfortable and has items for sale from local artisans. You can really feel the care and love the owner put into his choices of coffee and his many efforts to create a place that's warm and welcoming. It is an oasis of positive energy.

I stopped in as a recommendation from a co-worker. We both really like blueberry coffee and he said that Left Field Cafe on Main has Grandma's Blueberry coffee. While they didn't have any brewed, they DID have a blueberry latte option. So I got that, and an apple muffin. The latte is DELICIOUS!!! I'd go again just for that. The atmosphere was cozy and had a nice slow pace vibe. They had a few items for sale and the owner was a gem!!! Their front window advertises a safe place for everyone!!! I'm all about spreading the word for small businesses who deserve it. This guys does. See you there!!!

We are huge fans of Johnny and Left Field Coffee. When we vacationed in the area last summer we visited the shop a few times and enjoyed a welcoming experience (and excellent coffee) each time. Over the last few months we ordered coffee and t-shirts a couple times for holidays and special occasions. Johnny went the extra mile (and then some) to make sure our orders would arrive on time and that our celebrations would be memorable. Thank you, Johnny!
