Dykstra's Auto - Wyoming

This is my go-to neighborhood shop for the last 10 years. I've had everything done from oil changes, brakes, new tires to complex auto repairs. Amazing customer service, especially from Greg- true definition of "Above and Beyond". Very thorough, transparent and honest car repair shop which is why I keep coming back.

I just moved to Michigan and Dykstra's Auto was the first mechanic I was referred to. They were very helpful and kind, and I loved the small waiting room provided while waiting for your car. I'm looking forward to continuing my relationship with Dykstra's Auto and going back to them for routine maintenance

I took my car here yesterday to get a AC recharge. Upon getting called back to the shop, they told me that there's a leak, and pointed out other issues with the car that I would not have known about otherwise. They even showed me exactly what was wrong while my car was still on the lift, and emailed me the full report. I really appreciate their transparency and throughness! That's exactly how a autoshop should be with you, and I'll definitely be coming back in the future.

Was having issues with my vehicle Dan was great over the phone and in person. Got my vehicle in and out within 1 hour to1hr 1/2 max! Overall very friendly people 10/10 recommend!!!

I was given a very thorough explanation of my estimate. I was shown pictures and diagrams of the parts and the system. My car was done on time and the repair fixed my issue. Good honest, patient men.

An awesome neighbourhood auto mechanic. Great staff and fantastic prices. Even through I now live on the other side of Grand Rapids, I still bring my car here since I know I will be treated right. They even worked hard to fit me in with my crazy schedule.

I took in my vehicle hoping it would be an easy fix. They ended up having my car for over a day and I told them I didn’t want to spend the money to fix the car. They only charged me for 2 hours and kept me informed the whole time.

2 and a 1/2 years ago My husband had my front breaks done, at another place. And there had been a Noise in the front end that they didn't know what it was or they couldn't hear it. This past December I took my vehicle to a place another place My husband always took care of these things.And I didn't know where he took our vehicles, but he passed away last year Suddenly and very unexpectedly. So I took it to a place wanting to do what he would have done for me for the winter. They checked the front brakes and the rear brakes and everything and said my front brakes were fine, but I needed rear brakes, rotors etc. and some other part on the front. I don't remember what it's called, but no matter I still had that sound and I just felt like the vehicle was still not right and i wasn't happy. It took me a while to get the motivation to take my car to yet another place life has felt very overwhelming this past year, but I went to Dykstra in wyoming, and not only did they find the noise, but they also told me that my front brakes were missing parts and that it looked like someone drilled or attempted to drill into something, a caliper or something to that nature. And anyway, they replaced what needed to be replaced, and although it wasn't cheap, because mechanical work never is, I got my Vehicle back in a much safer condition. No more noise and it even rides a little better, and who knows what could have happened with me Riding around with front brakes that were missing parts, I mean who does that?
Anyways they were phenomenal and I had a sense of security at a time when I don't feel like I have much security with my husband being gone, so i'm grateful and will go back to them.

When I was a young boy, I observed my Grandpa doing business with a handshake. I recall the statement "a man's word is his bond". Unfortunately, that has not been my experience with auto repair dealers until I came in contact with Dykstra's Auto - Wyoming. They provide quality workmanship at a reasonable price. They are professional, yet friendly--treat you like family. Their greatest attribute, however, is their integrity! I recommend them for everything from an oil change to front end repairs. Great experience. Needed a brake job on my wife’s car. Scheduled via the online portal, they called and confirmed timing and the issue to investigate. Dropped the car off at night using the convenient drop box. The next day they called and reviewed pricing options and had the car ready later that day. Pick up was a snap and they were friendly and courteous. Very trustworthy people. Highly recommend.

Dykstra's is my go too for repairs! They are quick, efficient and most important, honest. They are fair with pricing an that is very important in this economy!!

I dropped my car off after hours one night, and they had already inspected and diagnosed the issues by the very next morning at 9, and fixed by the afternoon.

I had a separate issue with my ignition which they referred me to another auto shop that would be better suited for the repair. Speaks volumes to their honesty!

I chose Dykstra’s Auto because my Dad used to go there for repairs years ago under different ownership. So happy to share my experience was top notch. My car runs like a dream now and I was treated with much respect. Fair price for great work.

The team at Dykstra's Auto does quality, timely, and honest work. I have had them work on two of my vehicles, and I have not been disappointed. Each time that I have called to get my vehicle in for service, they have been able to schedule me the very next day, something that seldom happens at other shops (and I don't think it's because of a lack of business!) The staff will tell you exactly what needs to be done to maintain your vehicle's longevity and keep it running safely, and they will not force you to make unnecessary repairs just to line their pockets. I recommend Dykstra's Auto, specifically the Wyoming location, for your automotive repair needs!
