Love Vander Veen's! We once again ordered some yummy Christmas gifts this year :-) The order arrived with one item 3 pieces short. I reached out to the store and sent pics of the delivered items. They were so great, immediately sent the missing items via Fedex so we could play early Santa for everyone on our list! Thank you again VV's for being awesome! Merry Christmas to all!

UPS just dropped off my first order. It was very well packaged. The ice packs were still frozen and I just enjoyed the first Dutch herring in years. They added a free Dutch food magazine, which I enjoyed reading. Excellent business! We will order again!

I've only ordered online from Van der Veen's Dutch Store but would highly recommend them. My order of Dutch snacks and foods was extremely carefully packed, and the prices were very reasonable. Even my rolls of "beschuit" arrived in one piece. Great selection too! I'm already looking forward to my next order.

If you're out of speculoos, Wilhemina peppermints, hagelslag, smoked gouda cheese, and wooden clogs then this is a one stop shop for you. Very convenient.

It's such a fun little store. A good selection of imported Dutch things, local Dutch things, and little Dutch knickknacks and doodads that's sure to please your inner old Dutch lady.

Placed my first online order with Van Der Veen on 11-27 and received what I ordered today Dec 11 . Very happy with the service the variety of dutch soup they offer and will become a regular customer .

The Dutch Store is a great place to get authentic food and gifts. We like to get chocolate letters each year for Sinterklaas presents. There were COVID safety procedures in place when we visited in November 2020, so we felt comfortable.

Love The Dutch Store! Prices are right on point for food, treats, and goodies straight from the homeland! LOTS of offerings and a variety of food. Half of the store is dedicated to food and treats. The other is for Dutch themed and related gifts and merchandise. Definitely worth a visit!

My go-to online Dutch store. I'm from the Netherlands so I enjoy the experience of this website and the many things it has to offer.

Very, very well packaged online order. I will definitely be back for more Dutch and Indo-Dutch produce. Again, could not have been packed better.
One thing to note is that if items are in backorder, they will only send them backorder if more than 50$ in backorder, otherwise they will take it off the order for you to reorder when the products are in.

Always a great place to pick up food and gifts from the Netherlands. Sometimes you just want a taste of home. This is my go to place for that.

I'm chewing on a stick of zoethout (licorice) while writing this.
Just as I remembered it from my childhood growing up in Belgium (now in America for 30 years). their Gouda cheese from the wheel is also just as I remembered buying it in the cheese shop or on the market from Cheese shop merchants in their vans directly from across the border.
I can highly recommend their licorice (drop) boerderijtjes, another one of my favorites. And be sure to order some real coffee Douwe Egberts Aroma Rood, 8 or 17 oz. The 17 ox one lasts me less than a month, it's that great, just the small of it freshly brewed will make you put Folgers and Maxwell and the rest where they belong, with the dishwasher brands like Starsucks...

I've been buying from Vanderveen for a little over a decade now but this last order just didn't want to go right. Both Shannon and Brandon went above and beyond to fix the issues and set things right, which I am eternally grateful for. If there were more stars to give here, they would be very well deserved! Thank you so much for keeping Dutch goods available stateside over several generations!

Twice a year we order online from this store. The variety of food is perfect, and prices are fair. The food always arrives well packaged. On the rare occasion something goes wrong, just contact them and they'll make it right.

Real Dutch products from cheese graters to cookware and candy. Lots of fun! Employees were really friendly and helpful.

As a Dutch person of course I love coming here! It has a lot of my favorites to be sure and has even a deli where you can get the traditional cheeses. Love that. Some true favs of mine are missing though. Jong belegen. I got belegen but not the same. Erwten soep? I saw dry packs but no cans or bags? But overall great specialty Dutch store.

Nicest gift shop we have been in in years! Fair prices & darling things to look at & buy. The young woman in the shop gave us an opportunity to look around, then invited us for complimentary fresh coffee & cookies. It doesn't get much sweeter than this! If you enjoy Holland, Michigan - shoot! You could skip it & head to Vander Veen's for all your gift shop & Dutch treats. Frankenmuth used to have shops like this. Vander Veen's is holding down a tradition of fair prices so all can enjoy the cultural experience. Very well worth the drop in!
