My experience - as a complete novice to this process - was wonderful. The clerks were helpful and assisted me with the filing and they were patient as I had to run for cash having forgotten my checkbook.

The Michigan Kent County Probate court hearing is open to the public My current understanding is that it convenes at nine in the morning on the ninth floor of the KENT COUNTY
Court House on Ottawa. In Grand Rapids Mi.

Visiting a Probate Court hearing as a public spectator as far ahead of your petsonal hearing as possible, makes the process and consequences - much clearer.

Just frustrated with all the nonsense.

I just called probate court for some information and the lady was helpful, but she got frustrated with some of the questions that I was asking and it showed when she spoke to me. Not only that, but she slammed the phone at the end of our conversation. She made me feel dumb for not knowing specific information, that's why I'm calling in the first place. Customer service could be improved and the attitude I got could, too. Thank you for your time.

If you want a fair shake, DO NOT RELY ON THIS COURT. THEY ARE ALL ARROGANT AND CONDESCENDING. THERE SHOULD BE AN INVESTIGATION.

Kent County is the state for women they wen all the time (that's FOC)

Judge rose ordered a medical examination against my will because I have a youtube Chanel. The hospital said no an immediately released me to avoid a potential lawsuit

This place gave me the run around for everything I needed. Wrong floor, wrong scheduling, the works. I actually got scheduled for May 31 for a hearing, then I showed up and our names were nowhere. Found out that they had scheduled us in the computer for May 17, and it showed up as a failure to show, but no one told us about that date. Phone calls never got returned and I had to reschedule twice because people messed it up. Made a stressful situation even more stressful. Floor 5 helped so much, one guy in particular. One guy out of how many employees? Sad. This place needs to get its act together, from the first floor to the last. Not happy with the way I was talked to by the service clerks or judge. Hopefully I will never have to go back and deal with this BS again.

I have been submitting annual fiduciary account forms to the Probate Court for over 13+ years for my children. This year I have had to submit the forms (3) different times with little explanation for why. I have left several messages for the Probate Clerk without any return calls. I am thankful this is my last year for having to submit this accounting.

I wonder if it'd be possible to FILE A LAW SUIT against KENT COUNTY VWU for not doing theor job right.. The police reports for my DV case had FALSE information in them and I can't seem to stretch the fact that they're causing MAJOR DISTRESS in the middle of a natural disaster still. It should not take 60 DAYS to resolve and issue that's NOT EVEN AN ISSUE. I'm FURIOUS and I'm loosing RESPECT FOR KENT COUNTY. I've requested and advocated I don't know how many times. They need to REMOVE MY NO CONTACT ORDER IT'S RAISING HELL- The defendant on my case is DARIUS ROBESON. He has NEVER HURT ME PHYSICALLY EVER, GET A MOVE ON IT!

The judge took away my home and car he didnt let me speak and was rude to me he screamed at me! I have never done anything wrong in my life yet the state of Michigan has taken everything away from me! I hope they get a different Judge soon one that isnt so mean and cruel! Take a home from a mother and child he doesnt care cause he makes thousands a day sitting there ruining peoples lives!!! Thank you I hope someday god does what you have done to me and my child!!!!!!!

Probate court has horrible customer service. They are generally rude and make up prices for things as they chose to. I was charged $7 just to get the paperwork and another $20 to file and there are no signs stating prices anywhere. They also won't recieve paperwork after 430 though they are supposedly open until 5. When you try to talk to them or ask questions they just walk away like you're not even there. After waiting in line for about 5 minutes with 2 different ladies just walking away someone finally came to help and then I was out of time. Horrible service, anywhere else most of these people would be fired

I think the courts decision to continue let a minor with a cognitive disability to continue sleeping in home with loaded unlocked guns and no follow up to keep the other party in check is irresponsible at best. Kent county's bias against fathers needs to stop.

Came to the 2nd floor with a client to turn in paperwork at the probate court office. Clerk was not friendly and very rude. Maybe have the employees do a training on working with people?

Couldn't agree more Want a DIFFERENT Judge who will actually LISTEN to me. He had his mind made up when he came into Courtroom. Do believe I have RIGHTS!
