My Brother in law and I went here 20+ years ago to have a Muzzleloader barrel replacement and Fiber optic sights installed on my wife's one of kind Sharp Shooter replica muzzleloader. Now I have to return to get a new barrel because of my stupidity of not cleaning the barrel after shooting it for New years. It's good though, I need more Black powder and other goodies. This place is the finest you find in my book. They are very very friendly and knowledgeable.

I had questions about a flint lock riffle. Not only did Anson answer all my questions. He fired the riffle and field cleaned it to make sure I wouldn't have any problems with it. AT NO COST!! I can't say enough good things about this business. This mom and pop shop is definitely a one of a kind business. And we are very fortunate to have them in our area. When they are gone. There will never be another one like it!

Really great ppl and business. Cool place. Prices are great. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Only place that has black powder and ballistol in stock! Not to mention all of the other items that you usually have to special order and even then its hard to find like BP for example. Its a pleasure to have a great place right down the road in our community. Even if their prices weren't very low i would buy from them just to support a great place and good people. I mean seriously do you really want to buy everything from Amazon and Walmart? I hope theyre around for a long time to come. Prices on ballistol, cleaning patches, BP and other items were very reasonable. Their unique firearms were also priced well. Definitely stop in if you get a chance.

They would have a perfect 5 star rating but one person out of 63 reviews, although they said they were very happy with the service and products, left them a 4/5 stars lol! why not 5!? I dont see how any business could be any better. If you read this please change it to 5/5 lol

Very knowledgeable and down to earth people. Relaxed environment. Local suppliers of the new SKB shotguns. Shoots just as well as guns costing 2 to 4 times as much. They give you personal attention. If you need black power help or advice there is no one better to see than Anson.

Best place to purchase black powder firearms and accessories. Most knowledgeable people I have ever met when it comes to black powder. I have been going there for years. Fantastic prices too!

They have an excellent selection of new and used muzzleloaders, both traditional and inline. And of course all the supplies to go with either type. They have a few center fire guns, and the owner is very knowledgeable about black powder guns. I went there to buy my first inline, and left with a reasonably priced gun, powder, bullets, and the knowledge on how to safely use the rifle. 5 stars all the way!

This is a hidden gem. When looking for a complete muzzleloading supply shop look no further. The trading post not only has an amazing selection but the owners are knowledgeable and friendly. If your in the area call first to make sure the shop is open as it is a mom and pop operation. To me that just adds to the appeal.
