Sans Souci Bar

Glad San Souci Bar is open again! Even though all new inside, it still looks like the original bar... just nicer! Large selection of nice wines and spirits too, plenty of TVs scattered around for sports.

We started with nachos and after enjoying about half of them realized the new chef forgot to add the tomatoes & lettuce. The bartender offered to quickly remedy, but the chips and base was very good so included the photo! Looking forward to coming back again soon.

Awesome time here today for the Lions game. Service was prompt. Food was great, pizza, perch sandwich and apps. Beer was cold and reasonably priced. The crowd was electric!!!

The chilli, bbq chicken pizza, any style pizza honestly, the rueben and pretzel bites are all delicious!!

Excellent food, friendly service and waterfront location. Decent size menu thst covers breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as a bar for drinks. Very reasonable prices and large portions.

Fantastic old-time atmosphere. Good beer selection. Perch dinner was excellent, if a little pricey. Only one waitress was taking care of the entire bar, but she hustled and did a wonderful job.

Since our first visit 5 years ago, we've decided to make it an annual outing to visit Harsen's Island and San Souci (pronounced "Suzy") Bar. The food is excellent and the view of the St. Clair River and freighters is awesome. Service was pretty good considering how busy they were. Food was excellent. We'll definitely go back again, God willing.😊

The perch was amazing, the homemade tarter sauce was definitely the best I've tasted by far. The homemade clam chowder taste,s like no other. And the chicken stripes were perfectly cooked and the batter was amazing. And to top it off the service was prompt.

This has been a place I've eaten at my whole life and plan on continuing to do so! Food, service, and drinks are always on point. And the atmosphere is soat home you can't wait to come back! Thank you to the cooks who provide wonderful dishes and cheery wait staff, and bar staff for making every meal/drink experience memorable. Keep up the good work guys!

Best place on Harsens Island for fun, food and music. Great atmosphere and even better view of the passing freighters on the channel. There are usually live bands and the outdoor patio on a summer night is second to none.

Lake perch dinner, double decker swiss mushroom burger, stacked ham and cheddar on Texas toast. Jillian was our great waitress. 3 people $37 with 1 coffee and 2 tall brews. S. Channel & 1000 ft. freighters passing by. Wonderful up north dive bar feel. Woo hoo!
