How have I missed this place for almost 2 years?!? Great vibe, seasonal wine list, awesome craft cocktails, spectacular farm to table menu! We did the wine and small bite pairing: 10/10 recommend! The best part of the evening was the service. Hands. Downs. Carolina was our server and she made us feel at home and welcome, especially as first timers. She knew the menu in and out and was able to make recommendations for food and cocktails/wine together, which is, of course, what I LOVE!! Even though it was a slower night (maybe 6 tables total) Carolina was able to bring a vibrancy to the dinner that elevated it, making it feel like a Friday girls night! 12/10 recommend Caroline!

Caroline also made fabulous menu recommendations, especially the dessert drink...she recommended the Kalamazoo something dessert drink (I'm so sorry I cannot remember the full name). This drink was like a creamy espresso martini, absolute chef's kiss! The one tiny criticism I have is the OTHER dessert cocktail was a major miss. The flavors are off and it tastes a bit chemically. Again, NOT MAJOR, but I know their people can make something really great.

I would recommend this place 100 times over! I'm so happy to have found this gem for the upcoming summer, and beyond!

Excellent service, rotating menu of fine dining, craft beers and ciders/ craft mixed drinks. Salmon was on point. Also the pumpkin cheesecake with this awesome rum raisin sauce!

Looking for somewhere to go in Kalamazoo where fine dinning is art. Are you looking for that wow factor on your first date and want to dress to impress. Look no futher....Elysium delivers all that and more. While I visit during the year, I make it a special day every year whenever it is restaurant week, to try out the new dishes their chefs have whipped up. I would highly recommend making this one of top eating spots.

Very fine dining, excellent staff, attention to details, great wine and whiskey selection, indoor and outdoor seating. Parking is a little confusing and they run out of menu items a bit early, but they have some of the smoothest Crème Brûlée desserts I've ever had. I'll definitely be back again.

The wonderful chef at Elysium Restaurant keeps you coming back with interest in what he is creating for the next menu! Tonight, I had a chicken and Italian sausage wrapped with the delicate skin of chicken and seasoned wonderfully bedding atop of ditalini and a delicate Italian sauce then topped with Parmigiana for a fantastic combination of flavor!

Was told the menu changes daily, so who knows what they'll have tomorrow! But we had a few drinks (aperol spritz with the homemade orange liquor was the winner, the others were a bit bitter for me and a bit muted in flavor, but my partner really enjoyed them), the tri tip steak with grilled pineapple was fantastic (rice was slightly under cooked), and the grilled chicken with cavatappi was like an elevated adult Mac and cheese in the best possible way!! The banana foster tiramisu was phenomenal...

And above all else, the service was fantastic and the environment was brilliant. They are all super attentive and the servers were truly excellent!!

We had a great meal with wonderful service. Food is fresh and delicious. Great flavor combinations and dishes you won't have anywhere else! Perfect for a date night or just enjoying a great meal.

Every dish we tried was perfectly prepared. The service was amazing (Ivy is an amazing waitress and has a sparkling personality) the manager on duty was very accomodating.. the atmosphere was comfortable. We will be back soon!

One page menu (perfect) and all great dishes wonderfully presented. The crepe desert - current best in town; perfect blending of textures and flavors none overpowering. The set up; ample and clean. Service: courteous and experienced despite the short time they’ve been open.

Great food, service, and ambiance. The group I was with tried most of the items on the menu and everything was great. Food was delicious and properly seasoned. We will definitely return on our next trip to Kalamazoo.

Food was fantastic. Makes Applebee's seem like a TV dinner. Little pricy but worth it. And with covid and having a hard time finding restaurant help, our server was great.

Really wonderful experience on our first visit. From the moment we arrived the staff was welcoming, friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. Our group had the pleasure of trying a variety of innovative and well balanced cocktails from their menu, all of which were delicious and many featured Michigan made spirits. The food was innovative and flavorful with an excellent variety of options for all of the different palates in our group. The hard boiled egg with truffle custard and salmon roe was an exceptional bite! We capped it all off with some awesome desserts, the Nutella pie was so good. Will definitely recommend to others and look forward to returning next time I am in Kalamazoo, hopefully when it is warm and we can enjoy the patio.

We have been to Elysium for a few date nights and always have been really happy with the food and service. We chose to celebrate our anniversary there last night and it was such a special experience. There was a handwritten card on our table congratulating us and we were offered champagne to celebrate. We’ve always enjoyed our experience but this was incredible, truly above and beyond to make a memorable night. Definitely try this place!!!

My boyfriend brought me here for our Valentine’s dinner this past year. The food was excellent! The staff was so kind, the atmosphere is very inviting! This place is also very intimate and great for date nights! We definitely will be back!

Got the Flank Steak. Out of sight, super tender. Prepared medium and was indeed medium. Couldn't have been any better. And the Irish potato cakes underneath, super soft and just perfect.

Never a bad meal at Elysium!

This is a gem of a restaurant with a great menu that’s regularly updated. An imaginative ‘mock tail’ menu, a bar area and outdoor seating too. Plus they take bookings. I highly recommend people try this place. They have monthly events and tastings too.

Busy Friday evening - we sat at the bar & watched T pour generous cocktails & martinis. Excellent flank steak, great wine, friendly fast service. A new favorite place to wine & dine in Kazoo!

Great food, and wonderful staff! My halibut vichyssoise was delightful, and my husband loved his veal risotto. Quiet, relaxed dining; indoor only, but the tables were far enough apart that we almost felt like we had the place to ourselves. We loved the Traveler’s cocktail, plus they have a nice selection of wines. We will definitely visit again!
