Poncho's Tacos 2

What a nice little Mexican restaurant, went out for a ride. I happened to come across this and had to stop in for some tacos. The food was excellent, fresh and hot I would definitely recommend it if you happen to be in the area.

Very little place with probably the best Mexican food I've had. They started us with chips and salsa. The taco's were fantastic and filling. More food than one guy needs. My lunch came with rice,beans a grilled chilli pepper, 3 lime slices 3 steak tacos. Not beef burger but tender steak and sauteed onions. Topped with one of 2 house made sauces. Now for the price. $9.99 plus tax. How can you go wrong. I will definitely be ordering from here again. Thank you poncho's
They just upped there prices but that took the pepper away. They used to send in the meal. Bummer I miss the hot pepper. Please bring it back.

We had an amazing dinner here. Obviously a local spot. It seems to have been a house at one point. Great prices and really tasty tacos. Can't beat the Tuesday taco special. Friendly staff even tho it's a busy spot. Sit in the back for the best experience.

I had the chorizo quesadilla, and my wife had the taco platter. We absolutely loved our meal as well as the service. Chips and salsa with every meal was a nice added bonus. Couldn't be happier with ponchos, and a welcome addition to the south side of Grand Rapids

Humble appearing restaurant, amazing food, friendly and attentive service. We had the chicken tacos, steak (asada) tacos, fish tacos, shrimp tacos, chorizo tacos, wet burrito, torta, rice, beans, guacamole, salsa, and chips. All was very good! We'll definitely be back!

Love the food it's amazing the customer service also amazing I love all the people who are working there and even though I have had it only twice they are amazing my only downgrade to it is that they are in need of a little renovation to this location overall 4.5 stars👍

The customer service was top tier, very friendly. The food is delicious, omg! Baby that meat is seasoned to perfection, tender, and juicy! I had a pork, chorizo, and steak taco. I also had rice and beans, and the Hibiscus drink and a sample of their horchata. They can cook their behinds off! Everything is good! You won’t even need sauce. Whew! I’m hooked. I won’t be able to eat tacos from anywhere else but Ponchos 2. And before you think about grabbing a cranberry juice from the store, try their hibiscus drink, you won’t be disappointed.

I ordered an asada (steak) wet burrito for lunch. It came with complimentary chips and salsa. The burrito was huge and delicious!

The building is tiny, but they still have at least 6 4-person tables and bar seating with about 7 seats.

They also have a Coke fountain pop machine and an array of Mexican soda bottles. I will be back!

Delicious food, fast service, and reasonable prices (for 2023, at least). I'd never been in this building when it was the Wagon Wheel, but decided to give Poncho's a shot. I'm glad I did, and I recommend that you do too!

Definitely recommend this place. I stopped here for lunch and ordered the taco combination. Some of the best tacos I have ever had. Authentic too. 👍

Very good! My husband loves Mexican food and we eat it frequently but ponchos tacos was definitely above the rest. A lot of places are stingy with the meat on the tacos, quesedellas ex..not ponchos. I'm not sure they could fit more on my husband's tacos! Lots of sides. Salsas were great! Fries were great! Torta was amazing! Customer service was great! See you again soon ponchos!

We went here for lunch, and along with the food, the staff was also excellent! Everyone in my group loved their tacos (all tried a different protein), and we felt like their lunch specials were a great deal. It was very clean, staff was so friendly and attentive- all around just a perfect meal out! Cute spot that’s near Tanger Outlets and near 131. We’ll definitely be back to try more of their food!

So good! I've been on a taco tour looking for Mexican-style tacos. I got 3 asada tacos with rice and beans. They were perfect! My husband got a shredded chicken quesadilla and he loved his, too. Well worth the drive to the south end of town! Friendly, helpful staff. Highly recommend!!

Authentic, great food. This was a first time, will definitely be back. Caution: sauces are spicy, but tasty.

This location has been many things of the years. Ponchos is the best ever.
I hope they are here for a long, long time. If you want Authentic Mexican Food. This place is one of best in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Excellent food!
