Great Lakes Furnishings

I have been shopping for an ottoman for living room. It was a spur of the moment decision to stop into Great Lakes Furnishings. I was shocked at how huge this store is. I was also impressed with the nice layout of the store and the vast inventory. My salesman, Brett, was extremely helpful in finding just what I needed. I’m resting my feet on my comfy ottoman as I write this review. I will certainly be a return customer and spread the word to family and friends!

I would highly recommend checking this place out. I was amazed at the prices, attentiveness, and help the people are in this store.
I recently looked up the same piece of furniture from a long time local store. It was 350 more than what we paid. The exact piece. Check them out before you run out to grand Rapids. I was truly impressed and the selection is huge.

What a great experience. There are not many furniture stores anymore to try before you buy. The sales staff, especially Theresa was patient and was so knowledgeable about all products she sold. It took me an hour to find what I wanted, so many fabric samples - but they found exactly what I wanted. Would highly recommend them - they have something for every budget.

Brett was very helpful with helping my husband and I find the exact sectional we wanted. Also, the prices are great! The same couch would have been double maybe triple the price if we bought directly from the manufacturer.

Doug was very helpful by finding the right cabinet for me. Very nice store and prices within anyone’s budget. Doug also helped with a finance program that was affordable for me! Wonderful overall experience!!!

Went in not really expecting to buy, found a coffee table me and my wife absolutely loved and signed paperwork same day. Brett, our sales guy, was perfect, he was there if we had questions but wasn't overbearing and pushy. Very pleased with the experience.

First off, let me say that Brett knows his stuff when it comes to educating the consumer on furniture. I had some specific things that I was looking for and he clearly explained different features. We ordered a custom couch and loveseat and it came in earlier than expected. I got text messages to keep me updated. The delivery guys were on time, wrapped my door jamb to protect things as they came in, wore shoe coverings and checked to make sure everything was operational. Very professional! Thanks for a great experience!

My wife and I just ordered a sectional couch from Great Lakes Furnishings. Tyler and Teresa were very helpful but didn't follow us around the store trying to push a sale the whole time. They gave us space but were ready to answer any questions we had. We ended up having to change our order and they were upfront and very helpful with trying to get our changes made. I thought the prices were fair, too, especially if you were willing to wait for your order to be shipped vs taking the piece home that day.

Always friendly, willing to work you and we got a great deal. Also have a wide selection of beds and living room furniture from multiple brands.

Just purchased the Fluff Daddy recliner. I’m out of state and was able to speak with Brett and my order was placed same day. This chair is custom made so I will have to wait 6-8 weeks to receive it. I can’t wait! Brett made this purchase very easy and with great service!

We went in the store thinking we were going to end up in GR to find a good and affordable sectional couch. After 5min of looking around, we found exactly what we were looking for! This store is beautiful, affordable, and the staff is amazing! Teresa was our salesperson and she was able to get all the pieces of our sectional couch in one shot in a quick delivery date! We highly recommend this store for all your furniture needs

After going to several furniture stores in the area, we found what we wanted at Great Lakes Furnishings. Doug did an excellent job helping us navigate their huge selection. Along with providing us with several options, he patiently answered our questions.

What a pleasure to shop at Great Lakes Furnishings! Steve greeted me at the door of his lovely store! He immediately put me at ease and it was evident that he was not going to be a pushy salesperson! The entire experience was great! The furniture quality and price are remarkable! I found everything I was looking for and more in this one trip. I am so excited to get my furniture next week. Other furniture stores I have visited could only order the furniture and I would have had at least a 1 to 2 months wait!, I purchased living room and bedroom furniture from Steve and I couldn't be happier! He was very accommodating and made my trip to his store a very nice experience. The store itself is clean and well furnished and it's laid out very nicely. We had no trouble finding what I needed in his well-organized store. You will not be disappointed at Great Lakes Furnishings, !

Great experience!!! Can’t wait for our new couch that we were able to purchase at more than a fair cost!!! They all work with you to make sure you can add and get what you are looking for. Definitely will be purchasing from here again!

Teresa and the guys were amazing! Teresa is so sweet, honest, and really cares about her customers. They all care about the upmost customer care and it’s so cool to find a company that values the same level of customer care as me. They really do work with bad credit and good credit as well. Great Lakes Furnishing will always have my business.

Brett Decheney helped us find a sectional we wanted and helped get $300 off the total price. He definitely was looking out for us in getting us the best price available. Store is very clean and all other staff were very friendly.

1st time buyer! Had initial reservations about making a big purchase and finding my style, however I really enjoyed the costumer experience. Steve was very welcoming, helpful, and fair with prices. Would highly recommend this store to anyone who is a first time buyer!!! This store really caters to different styles and tastes. Very glad I chose this store, and hope to be back soon!

Skyler and Ethen were very polite and professional. They did a great job putting the bed together and they did not leave anything behind for me to clean up.
