Vae View Park

They still have swings!!! And they work great. Their playground is a bit small, but its still fun with 2 slides and a bit more. They have tons of open area to walk and run around. The seating area is big enough for a large family party. Lots of trees to make the place beautiful. Even has soccer goals, though they are without nets, so you do have to bring your own. But its still an amazing place

This was a very cute park. It is located next to an elementary school which also has park options. The actual playground had features that were for smaller children to be able to climb and slide, but also had fun for older, more capable children as well. I didn't use the tennis courts but they looked awesome. The pavilion was large enough for a (pre-covid) party and looked fairly clean. I also appreciated that there was a dog bag and garbage station so I will likely be able to walk with my pup next time we visit.

Nice place to walk your dog, there are plenty of sticks for them to chew on, Jude likes to take them home..... me not so much. Haha
There are always bags in the poop stand too, unfortunately not all dog owners use them.

Nice spot to relax

We love this park for our dogs! There is hardly ever many others around and no one has complained we let them off leash to chase a ball. We even had an officer parked and he didn't mind! There is some shade by the playground on hot days.

This place had a nice atmosphere, with a cool brisk breeze and a light warmth from the sun... it is an amazing place to have a picnic.

They have some great pickleball courts here at this park. We go over a few times a week and play. They are however not light up with lights so don't go there at night planning to play. Go check them out.

It's pretty clean. Massive field overall a really good park for playing sports or if you just want to go out for a walk or enjoy the playground

We're visiting all the city parks in Layton today. Getting some sun with my daughter and granddaughter today. Taking our time and having snacks on the way. Granddaughter said, "It's the best day of my life." Thanks Layton City.

Very inconspicuous, clean and tree riddled park. Although next to busy streets, it felt like a private park! Great for those "wanna be alone- need my space to reflect and clear my mind" moments.

Lots of wonderful shade. The city employees do their best to keep up on tidiness and safety.

Great pickleball courts. Shade over the kids' play area.

Nice place to take the kids. Awesome shade trees with benches to sit and watch them. Main Street side in particular.

Nice place for the kids to play, ride bikes or scooters and get out of the house. 2 parking lots if you need to drive there.

Very well kept up park.

Great park. Easy to find and fun to play at. Right on the main Street. When friends visit the first time this is where we meet up.

It's a very nice park and perfect for picnic.

Always pleasant surroundings shade trees and toys water holding pond is fun for the kids after rain
