Hampton Inn Salt Lake City Central

This hotel was absolutely fabulous very clean very stately professional friendly staff located in a good part of town right next door to where I had to be for my trip it had an indoor swimming pool which was at a perfect temperature a little jacuzzi tub next to the pool they had a small little store next to the checking the desk that had things that Travelers would need to have access to should they need them there was complementary cookies and coffee in the lobby plenty of parking Galore

Visiting SLC for the first time for work it is probably not the nicest hotel in town but the service is amazing. The front desk receptionist from 2/24 at night, was very nice once we arrived she immediately greeted us and check us in, someone had forgot a toothbrush and immediately she offered us one complimentary, very professional and great customer service.

Friendly staff at check-in. Consistent breakfast each morning. Rooms were clean and the housekeeping was well done throughout the stay.

Customer service at this location was great. They were all very friendly. Knowledgeable, and personable. The check-in experience was well done, especially with my disability. They were very accommodating. The atmosphere of the lobby was really nice. There were individuals quietly speaking in low tones in different zones. The decor was pleasant and there was a wonderful bonus of coffee. Tea, water, mints, fresh cookies and fruits were available as part of having a room. The room was typical and as expected. I had requested an ADA room due to my disability. The only complaint would be the explanation I provided of my condition was not compliant with the room, ie, I have a leg brace and can't bend my left knee. I was unable to use the shower because it was a tub. Checkout was very simple. Although breakfast was available as part of the reservation, we had to leave for a medical appointment and couldn't take advantage of it. I can say it did smell amazing. Room service was offered but we did choose to have dinner at the Dee's restaurant in the parking lot. The food was good and convenient. Although this hotel is a bit out of the way for appointments going to UofU hospital, I enjoyed this visit and do recommend this hotel.

All the staff members were kind and helpful. I was struggling to bring my things in and someone ran over to help me. I feel bad I can't remember his name, but that was really awesome. The room was HUGE. The shower was to die for. I got the suite and I really never wanted to leave. Hot, fresh breakfast. Quiet area. My only complaint was the pool wasn't open. But all in all, great experience.

I read the reviews very carefully before I make a reservation at a hotel. I want to know first of all that the beds are comfortable, and then that the hotel is really clean. The Hampton inn went far beyond my expectations. It was immaculate, comfortable, and every person I spoke with was so welcoming! I would stay here again in a heartbeat! I also love that although the hotel is set at a fairly busy intersection, it is backed by a golf course, so everything was green and peaceful out my window.

It's an old hotel and remote in location. The small elevator was very slow and some of the sheets were ripped and one of the comforters permanently stained. The cleaning staff must have noticed it when doing the bed! These things didn't distract from the fact that the room was clean and everything worked well. It was a good quiet sleep. We appreciate the breakfast and coffee in the morning. Wish we had had more time to enjoy the indoor pool.

Like the name says - centrally located. Most rooms recently updated. Really excellent service & attentive staff - Yvette at the front desk was stellar!

Read completely- upon checking in, there was a mixup on our reservation. Instead of simply taking the blame and having us move on, Shiv(the manager) and Jane worked tirelessly for 3 hours until the issue was solved. I was treated with respect and they were genuinely just so great to work with. What could’ve been a disaster turned out great because of them. The hotel itself has nice, clean rooms, with a great hit complimentary breakfast in the AM. Highly recommend staying here while in Salt Lake City!

After checking in at a bad hotel down the street, we were desperate to find a hotel to house us for a wedding we are attending from out of state. We found this place and Lalo was a god send! He got us in a room and showed it to me before hand to set my mind at ease! Plus he helped me sign up for the rewards program. Thank you Lalo and Hampton Inn!

I was actually quite surprised at how nice this hotel is in the SLC and West Valley City area was. For a Hampton Inn, it’s on the upper scale of nice. For the location, you would not expect this. However, some of the amenities are not as good/bug as you expect. The pool and fitness room are very basic and small. The business room is bigger than expected. It’s a bit hit/miss. Also, the beds are fairly comfy and the bathroom has a full fan. It seems to move the air and moisture fairly well.

Rooms were clean and smelled clean. Pool was nice, clean and warm to swim in. Hotel was very well maintained. Only problem is morning cleaning crew does not realize that people sleep in. They were loud starting from about 6or7am till about noon. We couldn't sleep in either day (stayed 2 nights). Other then that great place.

Very nice hotel in SLC! Pet friendly, lots of parking (no problem parking a trailer), clean big rooms, tasty breakfast (omelets), good price, friendly staff, restaurant (American cuisine) right next to it, continent location.

My truck is being repaired so I checked in and was treated professionally by Sydney. She made sure I was getting the best rate. The room was perfectly clean, the hot tub and pool was great for relaxing and the breakfast was better than most, included eggs, bacon, waffles. If you need a place to stay for a few days while you are in Salt Lake City, stop by and see Sydney and she will take great care of you!

Stayed 3 nights in this hotel during my business trip. Very nice and quiet room. Recommend to take the room face to backyard, you would be able to see golf course and nice mountain view.

The room was beautiful, the staff was fantastic. The only "minor" thing was that the fridge that held the milk/apple juice/orange juice was turned up a bit too high, so my wife and I had some delicious orange juice snow cones with our continental breakfast. Will definitely be staying there again.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. They have herbal tea, coffee, hot chocolate and water in the lobby. The breakfast was great, and the eating area is very warm and inviting. It's a very nice, clean hotel and we really enjoyed our stay!

This is a great hotel. Room was clean and updated, and the bed was very comfortable with comfortable pillows. The included breakfast is a notch above a continental breakfast. They have a self serve waffle iron as well as a warming plate thing with bacon and eggs in it.
The only shame is that there's no good food close by. DO NOT go to the diner across the parking lot. Food was so foul.
