Such a cute place happen to stumble on it for lunch. Food portions were HUGE The prices were great The food tasted wonderful. I was very happy that we stopped and will definitely go back. 10🌟🌟service was excellent the waitress was friendly.

So sad I hadn't found this wonderful place before now! Met a friend for breakfast and the food was delicious and service was great. Portion sizes were generous as well. I liked it so much I brought my husband for lunch the next day - French dip and hubby's chicken sandwich were both excellent. Look forward to becoming a frequent customer.

What a great small town Cafe with really good food. I had the veggie omelet which was really good and my son had chicken and waffles and said the flavor was one of the best he's tasted. Great service to boot too. Definitely will be back to try more items. 😁

This was our first time here. We ordered take out. Our food was ready when she said it would be. Very polite and friendly staff. The food is excellent! It was still hot when we got home. We will definitely be going back soon.

Best food portion sizes in town. Place has an amazing small home town feel. Had brunch with my son after not being here since before covid. We used to frequent often. Nice to see Rachel still there. She was super rushed/busy. I love the remodel. Son loved his burger and side salad. I had my favorite, the Mexican omelet. I'm only saddened because I wasn't aware you needed to say xl to get the bigger portion. Also, I suggest automatically including salsa and sour cream on the side with that option. I am looking forward to my next visit. Thank You 😊

Very good boasted chicken but too salty. Large portions. Waiter was very friendly and attentive! Small town, homey atmosphere. Very pleasant experience. We enjoy coming here and stop quite often when we are on the way home from Mpls.

Just went for the first time. I ordered the Mexican omelet which was huge and very tasty. Kaylee ordered the Chocolate chip pancakes, which is her favorite. Ariana ordered the Deluxe Fritter french toast, which is her favorite. Service was very good and friendly. I will definitely be going back.

Went here for their breakfast buffet from 5 to 8 pm on Thursdays. It was good comfort food. I especially enjoyed the biscuits and gravy. Our server was pleasant and attentive. They also offer a full salad bar. This is a nice home-cooking type cafe.

Everything was amazing.. the bus boy made the visit rememberable ... his dedication to his job, the smile on his face doing it and his manners were amazing. Keep up the great job.

Food was delicious, and it came out quickly. Our server was okay, she didn't really come check and see if we needed refills on drinks or anything. But she seemed very nice. Overall it was really good food, and would definitely recommend to family and friends.

The server was friendly and kind. The salad bar was a great variety of healthy options. I liked the coffee pot all to myself.

Lake Cafe is just simply one of those places. It brings me my youth when the local Cafe was where everyone went and it seemed like everyone knew everyone. Excellent breakfast, even better service!

Great local small town restaurant. Country fried steak and eggs over homemade biscuit smothered with a hearty portion of sausage gravy was absolutely perfect and the hash was cooked perfectly.

I've been in the area for work a few different times this summer and have eaten here a couple times now. I got the walleye sandwich and a bourbon burger. Both were delicious! The walleye was cooked well and very crispy. The burger was very messy, get extra napkins, but very good. The bourbon glaze and sautéed onions were great. I added pepper jack cheese as well. Very friendly staff with great service during both visits! I love supporting local places!

This fab restaurant has a real home-town vibe with comfort food in spades. Terri, our waitress, was super friendly and we would certainly make a return visit when we're next in the area.
