I'm not very handy, so on the occasion I have to visit a hardware store, I visit 3 Sons True Value. Employees here have been SO helpful - whether it's finding something we need, getting keys made, or answering general hardware related questions. I wholeheartedly recommend.

This store is very convenient and have always had a very helpful and knowledgeable young person to help me find what I need.

2 years later....
The new owner seems overwhelmed. Wasn't too interested in helping me find the small piece of tube I was looking for and went to help a couple that asked about a bigger item. The young man that was with him helped me though, he was very nice.

The new owner, Lori Able, helped me find everything needed! The store is clean, organized, and all employees have a cheerful attitude. Yes, a bit more costly, but so worth it to not drive into Monti traffic, get all the help i need, and support our own small town businesses.

Really good, the staff were super helpful knowing where everything was and asking me if I needed anything before I even had to ask them! They only had a couple types of concrete, I needed a rapid setting one which was unavailable, unfortunate but not the end of the world. Good people!

Great place to pick up things I need for all my projects. I’ve rented sheet rock hoists and a couple of other items. Very helpful staff. Would recommend. Plus I can purchase my fishing and hunting licenses.

Weston took the time to find the exact screws and washers for my son’s toy chainsaw. He could have pointed me to the isle and set me off on my way but instead gave us A+ service - for a $1 sale.

A nozzel was missing on your power sprayer. A gentleman-employee came to our house + gave us what we needed. We don't hear of that kind of service anymore. U went above + beyond. EXCELLENT Customer Service Skills. When I need a hardware store, Hardware Hank it is. Plus the employees inside the store R ALWAYS Helpful + Personable.

Alway a joy to stop there first. Helpful clerks that can take you to whatever you are looking for, or answer your questions. I moved to Elk River 2 yrs ago. I still drive to Big lake and get what I need faster than finding it at menards.

I needed a 2 part epoxy with a 60 minute cure time. I looked at home depot, menards, and even walmart. They all had 5 minute epoxy. Good ol' Hardware Hank had 2 part epoxy with the 60 minute cure time I needed. I bought 2. Thanks Hank!

A Huge Thank You !. To The Manager who took the Time to Cut me a new key from one that was in 2 pieces. My son broke his key for his Saturn and no one else was Able to cut a new one due to the old key being in 2 pieces. He literally cut the key one half at a time and they worked flawlessly 👍

Great hardware store! The employees are fabulous help and you can get in and out with the supplies you need much quicker than the big box stores and there is always an employee to give you great knowledgeable help.

Nice old guy said hi when we walked in. Maybe one of the 3 sons, not sure. It was a clean store and had what we needed.
