Tacos Wey & Grill

Our first visit here was so good that we could not wait to make this a regular spot to eat. The staff is kind and the food comes out quite quick. It's also incredibly delicious and cooked to perfection. I appreciate the Jarritos being available and the portions are on par for what you would expect. There has not been anything on the menu that disappoints me.

First visit was fantastic. The food is flavorful with complex combinations of ingredients that work together to make the food interesting and delicious. There was NOT over salted...they add actual ingredients to provide flavor. The pastor meat was moist and tender. Tortillas were fresh and perfect. Really this place is great. Most of their business while we were there was carryout, and that was pretty continuous. Don't let a lack of cars in the lot or lack of people eating inside scare you away.

Our favorite taco stop in St. Louis, everything on the menu is awesome, you will not be disappointed!

The best authentic Mexican food I have had since being in southern Cali. The quesabirria tacos w/ consommé, the birria burrito, the wey fries with steak and the papaya y mango fresh juice are amazing. Parents got the tostada and the tostada itself was fried cheese… DELICIOUS. 3 entrees + a drink for $60…Worth the price!

Tried it for the first time and it was SOOOO GOOD!! I got the 3 barria Taco plate and it was so beautifully cheesy, and crispy, and meaty. The consomme had so much flavor and the hot sauce complimented the tacos so well. Please go here and give it a try!

Excellent food and fast service. I had loaded Chicken Nanacho Fries. The parking lot is small but worth the extra steps if on the street.

Large portions for a great price! I ordered Shrimp Tacos and they were amazing. Left happy and full.

This is my second time ordering their chicken Quesadilla and it's fire 🔥.
The pulled chicken is of high quality and definitely taste like it. They also have grilled chicken, which is my favorite.
The Pico and guacamole is always fresh.
Everything is fresh here.
I noticed the tortilla doesn't taste like any other tortilla out there.
I think they make their own tortilla. It has its own taste and doesn't go dry after 5 min.
Their spicy red sauce is also very good and I can tell from looking at it they also make this fresh. 👌

I definitely recommend this place.

Update: 8 months later and everything is still fire. Had the Tostada today with chipotle chicken....Fire 🔥💯

Aug 23 update: had the taco birria with the dip. Love it.

finally some tacos I loved! We got all of them and had no regrets but we did have a favorite! Campechano and Carne Asada were our favorites from the entire list. Glad I found them! Now will come here whenever I have taco cravings. Also , only order street way tacos. corn tortilla is better than flour but that’s just my opinion.

They make it unbelievable smothered. French fries, coverage with cheese and tomatoes. And then you can add veggies their grilled vegetables. There was onions. There was green pepper. I think there's some red pepper. It was amazing, actually large enough for 4 people. I could not eat the whole thing then. Of course, they're street tacos. Fantastic

Small place. We try to time it so we're there before or after the lunchtime rush, 1130-1230. We have tried several items on the menu, and our favorites are the steak quesodillas and any of the tostados. I love their hot and mild sauces and appreciate that they keep the bottles refridgerated, not sitting on the tables all day.

Tacos Wey has some of the best tacos in St. louis, just love them. The Birria is second to none make sure you get there early bc when they're out there out. There loaded Nacho Fries are huge and full of flavor. The only downside, if you can call it a downside, is there is limited seating on the establishment, but it's a small shop, so it happens.

Went here on a whim. It was delicious. The shedded chicken was a bit spicy. But everything else was so good! I would definitely go again and recommend it to anyone!

I love this place. Their street tacos are so good.I get Al pastor tacos on a flour tortilla.Some tacos come on a corn tortilla but I prefer flour.Make sure to specify your preference when ordering!Always fast and food is very consistent!!!❤❤❤❤❤

Let me start by saying the Birria tacos were excellent and so tasty. I also got the watermelon Sandia which was so refreshing but a tad pricey. Go give this place a try.

Me and my boyfriend come here all the time and we loveeee the quesabirria along with their frescas. We especially love how authentic everything is. Hands down our favorite place to go.

Their beef birria tacos are the bomb.
Every bite is if i’m in flavor country. And it’s a big country. Plus I like the fact that they have coke a cola (in glass bottle) made with pure cane sugar. Nice…….

The food is really good, authentic Mexican. The quesabirria and tortas were great. I noticed some other reviews saying the tortillas fell apart, but mine were double wrapped and I didn't have any problems with that. The service was good too, Jocelyn and Rafael were great. The dining area is a little small but didn't feel cramped.

My only regret is not knowing about them sooner! I stopped by while in the area. Started with the Birria combo which was great. So good in fact I got an al pastor and carne asada taco as seconds. Would highly recommend! Only desire would be hotter salsa.

Had these for the first time the other day and they are Bette then some of these highend place you usually
Go too taste just like Cali OMG so glad I found this place I will be back
