Thelen Mechanical

I had Thelen Mechanical come check out my furnace the other day for a repair. After talking through a few options, I had decided it was time to upgrade the furnace and A/C due to the 20+ plus age. Thelen gave me a competitive quote for a timely replacement the next day and had the system fully installed within a few hours. The crew was nice, cleaned up after themselves, and very experienced. Would highly recommend in the future. Thanks again!

Caleb and Brandon did a excellent job installing water valve shutoff, and detection system for our upstairs laundry room. Very happy with the finished product. Great company to have work done.

Jace and Matt did a fine job of installing my new Daikin furnace. They were very professional and polite. They even swept the floors when they finished. And they made sure that the furnace was working just fine before they left.

Caleb Malek was very good to work with. He is very knowledgeable and informative. There was no problem for him to answer any of my questions and educate me on my concerns. Caleb also had good suggestions for me to consider.

My kitchen sink was sporadically not draining and backing up. Thelen plumbing fixed it. They ended up having to redo some of the plumbing under the sink because it wouldn't allow for snaking the pipes. They clearly explained what needed to be done and why. They were obviously knowledgeable. They thoroughly checked their work before they left to make sure everything was cleared. The cost was reasonable given the time of the job. The plumbers I worked with are Joe and Caleb. They were super friendly and professional. Thelen came recommended by my neighbor, and I'm glad we went with this company.

We were very pleased with the work done by Matt Trotter and Cullen Host when they installed our new Broan air exchanger this week. They were prompt, professional and friendly. I called Thelen because I was having troubles with my floor drain backing up in my basement. They took my number and Joe called me back within 3 min. He asked me a few questions, got the info he needed, and was to my house within 5 min. He snaked out the drain, was very professional, and very helpful! Thank you Joe and Thelen Mechanical!

We bought our house a year ago. We had some minor issues with our furnace that first winter, so this fall we knew we wanted it looked at before we started using it for the season.
There were two stickers on the furnace from two local hvac companies. One was Thelen. I called both. The first one was not kind or welcoming even on the phone. The person who answered sounded irritated. The price they quoted for a basic inspection was about $170 and they were booked into December.
I then called Thelen (the number from the other sticker) and reached Nick. Turns out the number on the sticker was his cell phone! Even though I'd called his cell rather than the business's main number, Nick was super friendly, kind, and informative. He arranged for Thelen's office scheduler to call me to set an appointment for our service which they did within a couple hours. We signed up for their annual plan to receive a furnace check, AC check, and plumbing check along with priority scheduling and a discount on parts for $240 which is a huge value for a new homeowner.
Austin was our technician (we got an appointment for the following week) and he too was friendly, polite, kind, and throrough. He fixed the minor issue we'd had the previous winter, made a couple of adjustments, reported to us on the unit's efficiency, and bonded with our dog.
We have had a great experience with Thelen and we definitely recommend this company to any & everyone in the Twin Cities area! This company and each of the employees we've had contact with are a wonderful combination of kindness and professionalism, along with customer service and technical knowledge. They provide great value and peace of mind to homeowners. Highly recommend.

Caleb was very informative. Explained everything with terms that was easy to understand. Considerate of my situation and was patient with my 6 grandkids who needed to know what was happening! Lol. Caleb brainstormed with me about what to do. Gave me options. Great person in every way! As difficult as my situation was, he was kind and understanding!

Ben was able to come out after we saw some water under the toilet that we just had sat. After we pulled the toilet, called Thelen to have a tech (Ben) come out and replace the cracked flange and reset the toilet for us.! It took him 30 min or so and saved us hours of Youtube videos and probably our marriage!

I reached out to Thelen Mechanical when I discovered a drain in a home I recently purchased to be severely clogged. I attempted to clean it out myself using a shop vac and a drain snake but my efforts were futile. I called Thelen Mechanical and Joe came out in a matter of hours the same day. He then was able to fix my drain line in even less time. I greatly appreciate the prompt response time and resolving the issue I could not accomplish myself in a very timely manner.
