Kitchen 56

This place was amazing. One of those locations hidden off the main road. Probably one of the best restaurant experiences in my life. The BBQ hamburger was absolutely amazing cooked to perfection and my wife had the steak gyro. The steak was so tender and the sandwich was delicious. The music was just loud enough but not too loud that let us talk without yelling at each other. The service could not have been any better. Thank you and we will be back. Told friends on Facebook as well.

The selection was unique and the food was delicious. Had the fish tacos, one of the best ever had and the edamame disappeared quickly. Service was good and atmosphere was comfortable. Highly recommend this for a visit .

This place is a hidden gem. The food (at least what I've had) is so delicious and well-made, and Courtney the bartender is awesome! I highly recommend to anyone in the area

Cool spot in Enfield! Service was prompt, food came out really quickly.
I will say that the chicken breast on the grilled chicken sandwich had a horribly bad texture (maybe frozen and thawed more than once, maybe just overcooked, I don’t know but obviously a mistake), which made it entirely inedible, the server didn’t notice I didn’t touch it… I could’ve said something but I was just too tired at that point. But the flavors were yummy. Everything else was pretty good too.

Kitchen 56 has been our go-to restaurant in Enfield. We have enjoyed almost every menu item at this point. They also have great rotating specials. Their pricing on drinks and food seem very fair. The 56 service has been very pleasant, and they seem to work as a team. I look forward to returning.

No matter where Doug is or what he's doing, the food is always great. Kitchen 56 is super cute, good atmosphere, and welcoming as you come in. I highly recommend getting the chocolate decadence (a Doug specialty)... Even if you don't eat it there, get it to go for later. You won't regret it.

The salmon was absolutely phenomenal.. like I ate every bite because I was unable to stop. We had the maple siracha wings which were perfect. The chocolate decadence was also delicious. Our server was super friendly and knowledgeable!! Megan was very personable and we can't wait to come back! :)

The bar has a great local feel and the food is delicious. The angry burger was fantastic. My wife has celiac disease and she was able to eat her own wings and French fries! She hasn’t had chicken wings in years. We highly recommend this place!

Parked for the Rail Trail in Enfield and walked along Mascoma Lake to town, where to our delight, we discovered this gem of a restaurant, Kitchen 56. Food was delicious and affordable – we had falafel gyros with crispy brussels sprouts and sweet potato fries; staff was warm and friendly; and the bartender made us a lovely zero proof cocktail with soda, bitters, and lavender syrup. Then we walked the trail back to our car - perfect evening!

We are semi regulars and have never had a bad meal here . Everything is delicious, the staff is wonderful (they almost always bring our 3 yr old a little plate of fries to keep him busy while we wait for our food), and the desserts are to die for - shout out to the carrot cake. They have somehow kept their prices reasonable even in this economy (especially for how tasty it all is!), so it’s an all around great experience! 10/10 recommend.

Great ambience in a historic building. Service was extremely friendly and good. Had the meatloaf dinner and it was best meatloaf I have EVER had. Chocolate mousse desert was amazing. Terrific little place in old downtown Enfield!

I had the BBQ pork special with coleslaw and Mac & Cheese, it was the best! There's a big difference between restaurants that just heat up frozen food (like the pizza place in town) and one where a chef does the cooking. It's worth the extra $. Considering that, I find the Kitchen56 prices very reasonable. If there is one thing that I could change, it would be to not serve farm raised salmon.

Absolutely delicious food and wonderful service. They have the best edamame I've had anywhere and a great selection of beers and drinks. The chocolate decadence is to die for but I wouldn't order it first like the menu suggests because you won't want anything else. I'll be sure to be back when I'm in the area again!

Finally a new place for Enfield NH. I have ordered several times and it is delicious. Friendly staff, decent menu with various options considering it is take out only. Wings are great, blue cheese is awesome! SW egg rolls are crunchy and delicious, burgers are fresh and each ingredient rocks. Haven't tried the whole menu but I am confident everything is excellent. So glad to have really good food back in Enfield NH with a chef that knows what he is doing.

Their BBQ platter is amazing! My GF loves their poutine! Service is friendly. Definitely some of the best food to have in the Upper Valley. Wish they stayed open later but most places here close earlier so its expected. Highly recommend. I'll definitely be back!

Chef Doug catered our wedding years ago, the food was amazing then and Kitchen 56 food is amazing now.

My wife and I both got lobster rolls recently, they were fresh, heaping with lobster and we're perfectly flavored.

Kitchen 56 has done a great job opening while simultaneously dealing with the pandemic. Everytime I've picked up food the staff were wearing masks and we're very helpful/courteous.

Would highly recommend!

Staff was excellent. Great vegetarian options as well as a good beer selection. We brought kids with us and the team brought out some extra snacks for them " distraction fries: which went over well!!!

We have been wanting to go here since it opened, but Covid made that difficult. We finally had a chance to try it out and were very happy! The food is great, and having a culinary background, I am hard to please! The staff is friendly, and the prices are more than fair for the portion size and quality. We will definitely be back!

First time here, service was excellent,server very friendly and attentive.had chicken wings to start, awesome!!!! Smash burgers ( we all had one ) were perfectly cooked .menu was fantastic,will come back and have a steak dinner next time!!
