Consistently fine food in a roadhouse atmosphere. You can go to bigger cities but you won't find better fare. Jake Moon knows what they're doing well and sticks with it. Affordable, generous specials and farm-to-table quality ingredients.

It is a small restaurant that makes it very cozy, has a variety of dishes including seafood.

Delightful outdoor dining. Christina and all the other waitstaff made us feel welcome. Greek Pie and Fish fry were well done and presentation was lovely. Locally sourced greens were a nice surprise with just enough dressing. No room for dessert; but we brought some home for later. Very pleasant experience!

Wonderful food, great service and decent prices. Can't wait to go back and try something else.

Our favorite hidden gem. Food is always delicious. Definitely a hole in the wall, but it’s charm is part of why we love it. If they are busy service can be slow, however Chef Dan is in the kitchen daily and usually the only one making meals. The wait is always worth it and we’ve never had a bad meal. The staff make my husband and I feel like family.

Really surprised by the quality of the food and the selection! Had a wonderful homemade veggie burger with homemade french fries. The bread is freshly baked and they have real maple syrup. Good selection for gluten free and vegans. Overall impressed. Service was very slow but don't go there is you're in a hurry.

Jake Moon has been one of my favorite restaurants since I started eating there years ago. I would always make a point to go when visiting home while living away from the area. Chef Dan is brilliant and utilizes native seasonal ingredients, and typically will come out to the dining room to chat with customers. The ambience is a lovely country café and the food is delicious. The servers are always very accommodating.

We really like going here. We meet cousins and it takes all of is about an hour to get there, but it is worth it. Yesterday our cousin had garlic pancakes with three poached eggs on top and he was practically licking his plate. Their menu is different and interesting. They had this cole slaw that had me totally distracted as I was trying to figure out what they used to give it a kick...it was so fresh and delicious. Service was so pleasant. You can tell the chef really loves food.

This gem out in the country a half mile down the road from Meadowbrook Dairy and is a great place for homemade and even local food and drinks! Food is always made to customer's liking and staff is kind personable and attentive. Outdoor seating when weather allows is always a bonus. Hearty and delicious breakfasts and dinners that appeal to everyone with beverages to pair. This is an intimate restaurant where you are not rushed through your dinner so you can carry on a long and wonderful conversation with your companions. Dining here is slower, so reserve yourself time to order and enjoy great homemade food from a wonderful creative chef and excellent service!

I went there last night for the first time. The food was the best I ever had. I called to place the order for take out. It was ready when we arrived. The waitress was so nice, she placed it safely in the back seat. When we got home it was still pretty hot. Our dinners were out of this world. I got mac & cheese. I never had it so good. It's hard to mac & cheese that good. I ordered New England clam chowder. It was the best I ever had. It's over the top. And even the salad I had. That was not a regular salad. It was so good. This is why I gave them a five star.

Always a magical dining experience. With the massive Clarksville cave network beneath and around, and the consistently high level of culinary expression in each dish, there is no end to the intrigue of this place.

Simply put, one of the most delicious breakfasts I've ever had.
And on top of that, the food was locally sourced and the service fast and friendly. I've discovered my new go -to place for breakfast in the region. I can't wait to go back and try dinner!

Holy Cows! This was the amazing breakfast. My husband thought his has was the best he ever had. I agreed. The onion dill bread was phenominal. My cuban chicken sandwich was wonderful. Staff was courteous and attentive. Best of all they werent blasting music so you could talk to the people you were eating with.

The Belly up was good, maybe a tad to fatty, but what do you expect? The Bennett Hill omelette was divine...and the bread to is to die for!!!

Our son, visiting from Denver, wanted to try Jake Moon so we stopped for breakfast the day he was returning home. I was hoping for eggs Benedict that I had once there and it was the best I'd eaten anywhere. Turns out that's only available for holidays but we all agreed that what we got was excelleng. Everything is fresh and made from scratch. Service made us feel like family. Doesn't get any better.

Food is delicious. Had Bennett Hill Scramble, with wild mushrooms, smoked Gouda cheese and herbs. Fresh red skin potatoes, homemade sourdough with fresh pear butter. Also tried the lemon ricotta pancakes. A+

We have been driving by Jake Moon's for years and finally got the chance to sit down and enjoy the fine food! Friendly service even as the last table of the night. Food speaks for itself, delicious and well prepared! A gem in Clarksville!

I would kill a man for another plate of the biscuits and gravy. One of the best dishes I've ever had. The service wasn't fast, but they were polite and helpful. Definitely a place to go if you aren't in a rush and want to enjoy a great meal.

I was a little uncertain what to expect when we pulled up into the parking lot on a Saturday morning for breakfast. The restaurant is a little out of the way and looked kind of rough around the edges. But the menu says that everything is from local farms and I had heard the food was good. That last was an understatement. The food was outstanding!
