Very beautiful and clean place. It was our first visit and it's spring so we didn't get the chance to enjoy the water other than dipping our toes in while walking along the beach, but i very much look forward to doing so as it starts to warm up.
Lots of picnic tables around so im definitely looking forward to having one of those this summer lol

A beautiful lake side park right off of the highway! Paid parking, swimming beaches, bathrooms & outdoor shower available. Plenty of tree coverage & a few different playgrounds. Great place for a dog walk, picnic, outdoor event or some water vehicle fun! I didn't see anyone fishing, probably because the lake was so busy with jet skis & speed boats.

Beautiful beach to go to. There is a playground, skatepark, picnic area and docks. The beach isn't nasty like most beaches and if you like looking for agates or really cool looking rocks to tumble this is your place.

Nice beaches and great shade trees to get out of the sun. You pay 5.00 per car but it's worth it.

Loved the July 4th Beach atmosphere. Yes it was packed, yes it was LOUD. BUT it was FUN!

Music in the park every Thursday in the summer. Along with a small car show, with friendly people to hang out with. On that night there is also a few food trucks. Wednesday afternoons June through September? There is a farmers market. Parking is free during those events. However, usually, there is a fee. They have a nice beach, but no lifeguard. There is also a boat launch, which also requires a fee.
Picnic area, some are under a covered shelter. Grills also available. Nice playground for the kiddos. Lots of shady spots. Modern bathrooms. Not pet friendly.

One of the gems of Big Lake - a beautiful park with a playground, swimming beach, boat launch, fishing pier, volleyball pit, skate park, picnic grills and shelters - and Freedom Rock is here too! Beautiful shady grounds and sunny areas.

Farmers Market every Wednesday and Music in the Park Thursdays during the summer months. Movie in the Park(ing lot) twice per summer. Free parking for those events, plus food trucks and more.

And Floaters has kayak and paddleboard rentals available, plus tandem bicycle rentals.

Music in the park and movie in the park events are a family favorite. The farmers market with food truck and live music is cool. The beach gets busy in the summer and the boat launch is always happening. Enjoy!

Beautiful and well groomed Park. Lots of shade and clean beach. The walk around the lake was fabulous. You have to pay for parking but there is plenty of space and you don't need to struggle to park. Plus I am certain the fees help keep everything clean and safe.

My kid's favorite beach. Groomed sand, nearby playground, bathrooms, and picnic shelter, food trucks on busy summer weekends. Nearby boat launch.

Clean & safe. Cost $5 for parking & it was a bit tricky getting the Keos to work. Bring a wagon or 🛒 for your gear. Diverse crowd & everyone have a good day. Wish I had one of those cool boats on the lake. The boaters often would bring back the children's floating toys. Play ground for the children, basic toilets, picnic tables & some covered area, trees.

Nice beach, beautiful lake., the markers for the swimming area are marked so nobody gets hit by boats, it goes out far enough and it was only up to my 10 yr old grandsons armpits. Perfect for how far they like to go. Place to picnic, bathrooms and outlets on the outside of the bathrooms to blow up your floaties!

Very nice park. You can fish off the fishing dock, swim at the beach, launch your boat, or just have a picnic and enjoy the park. It is very shady area for picnics. They also have a playground for the children. It does cost $5 to park and you need a credit or debit card to pay at the kiosk.

First time taking our kids here. Was a bit surprised by the parking fee. But $5 was cheap enough. Then when we got settled our family was very impressed. Lots of shades areas, picnic tables, a nice sand beach, playground area. The lake was very well maintained too. Clean and clear water, sand bottom and no weeds!

Lakeside Park is a great Park and is a nice and a clean park for one's children. It's perfect on a sunny day and they have plenty of shade and trees where one can have a picnic. I know that my children enjoy the time that we spend there and we find ourselves returning repeatedly!
