Shields Lake Park

This is a beautiful place to visit. Theo have a nice area to park and then you walk down a small hill to the water there's a little dock to fish off of our just sit and enjoy the water. There's a golfing place right there next to it. You can hear people having fun as they play together.
We saw a large snake my dog was very interested but I was worried I was gonna get her killed letting her say hi.
Also saw some beautiful flutter-bys. Posting a few pics! I will be back.

Love this little lake. Nice fishing pier, beautiful view of nature and wildlife, majestic. Had an eagle out fish me the other morning. Got some nice footage of it. It was awesome.

Nice quiet park.

Great little place I came across quite by chance. Very pretty, and far enough from civilization to give one a facsimile of a place further north. Decent fishing opportunities from the well built and situated pier. Please keep it clean, and dispose of your junk fishing line appropriately.

The park is definitely close enough to access for short visit yet secluded enough for peace and quiet. The water quality is quite poor largely because of the nearby golf course and their usage of fertilizers, run off. However, there is plenty of wildlife that live there despite the course's run off.

Quiet, somewhat secluded, yet close enough to home making it possible to enjoy these sunsets any day of the week. & you can even enjoy some live Golf, as it is located next to the back side of the back 9 @ castlewood golf course in forest lake.

Just a fishing spot. No walking trails.

Beautiful place, but unsure why is smelled so bad like rotting fish.

This really isn't a park. It is a steep hill with a dock at the bottom.
