Wildcat Inn & Tavern

We stayed at the Wildcat Inn for three nights and had dinner and drinks at the tavern one of the nights. The tavern has live music every Friday and Saturday and the atmosphere is great, though does close a bit early like most things in Jackson. The staff are all very friendly and accommodating. The nachos and chicken tenders were very tasty.

Spent two nights at the inn. At check in on Friday immediately put our name on the wait-list and headed upstairs. Room 12 on the 3rd floor (note no elevator) was super cute. Garden view, extra reading nook space we didn't expect, we had an air conditioner, and a big cozy bed. Loved our entire stay. 30 minutes later our table was ready!

The swordfish was absolutely perfect (fresh, lightly seasoned, cooked perfect), the burger was awesome, and the peanut butter pie was woah (definitely a 2 person dessert).

Enjoyed a run in the morning around Jackson and up some of the hilly roads. Lots of people walking in the morning. Absolutely love this area!

Delicious lunch, great service & good prices! Highly recommend this Tavern now that there's a new chef & staff since last time, we had a bad meal in Sept-2019. Kudos to the F&B team working here now - you should be proud of the great service you're providing! 👏 👏 👏

Took the family there during the busy ski season. Most restaurants in town were all booked up at 6:30pm; we came here and tried our luck. The place was packed, but the owner was very accommodating and helped clear a table for us right away. Food and drinks were good, staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy. Highly recommend.

Absolutely loved the food and the feel of the restaurant. All kinds of neat historic old photos on the wall showcasing outdoor activities of the season along with some old gear. Menu was simple at just one page front and back but had a nice variety of tastes and prices. Extensive drink menu. Dessert was awesome apple pie with a $1.50 up charge to make it a la mode with giant scoop of vanilla ice cream next to an already large squirt of cream.

The Wildcat Inn & Tavern is the best place to stay in Jackson and the surrounding area! We’ve been coming here almost 40 years! Clean and comfortable rooms, delicious food, incredible music scene and Pub vibe, dog-friendly, and the most awesome people around! Came here for a night away in Jackson. Our server, Kevin, was worth the price of admission. Absolutely amazing service. Food was great. I wish every waiter I had was as good as him!

I stayed here for two nights for a hiking trip. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and actually larger than what I was expecting with a nice small living room and a separate bedroom with the private bathroom.
The food in the restaurant was amazing and they offer a great collection of local beers.
I would definitely go there again for my next hiking/skiing trip to the area.

Wow! The food was the best we had during the most recent week we spent in NH, the drinks were perfect, the staff is awesome and the charm is amazing.

For context, I travel a lot for work and have been to plenty of favorite restaurants in cities and places off the beaten path. I will be raving about this place forever!
It’s no wonder it was packed every time we drove by. What a gem! Put it on your list if you’re traveling through the White Mountains.

Made reservations for dinner in the dining room but arrived early on a beautiful evening. The host was great and moved us to a table in the garden where we had a perfect evening listening to music while we ate a superb meal. The staff was great all around and you could not beat the ambiance.

Absolutely amazing food, presentation is on point. The staff is always friendly and inviting. I tend to visit weekly, and I always get the herb crusted half chicken or the ravioli when that is the vegetarian special. Dave makes the best chocolate martinis

Delicious! Sat at the bar. Lucky to get in they were booked by morning for the evening service.

Live music was a plus.

Had the tenderloin with mash and asparagus. Wonderful.

Adorable little NH Inn. We stayed and hiked all weekend with our pup. The staff was amazing and so accommodating with anything. Highly recommend a cozy little home away from home

Brilliant staff, great food and amazing live music! I love the rugby shirts on the ceiling. Good menu choices easy parking and a real people place! If your going to spend a night out make it here!!

We spent one night in this super cosy familiary hotel. The welcome was warm and the staff very helpful.
Later we had dinner with Live-Musik. The Hotel has two dining-rooms and a bar. Had great meals, the service was very good.
The Hotel is almost 100years old, which you can almost feel. Lots of old pictures and skiing-stuff on the walls.
Fazit: i absolutely recommend this sweet hidden spot! We got some locals-infos from the staff. Will return if nearby again.

I can't recommend the Wildcat Inn & Tavern enough. We hiked 13 hours up and back down Mount Washington. When we arrived, all dining options were closed including the restaurant at the Inn. We were over exhausted. The employees were having an employee appreciation party that night and welcomed us to their party! My husband and I can't express how grateful we were to have experienced such generosity. They took great care of us with extra food and wonderful drinks. We can't wait to hike the Whites together again and stay with these folks. They rock!! THANK YOU!!! ❤❤❤

Always have a good meal when we visit. The garden is great outside dining, one of the prettiest around. It's fun when there is music. Highly recommend this restaurant.

We stayed in room 309 for one night and the overall experience was tremendous.

Room was clean, staff was friendly, & the dinner was tasty.

This inn was perfect for a short stay after a long day of hiking.

Figured the 4.3 rating was fair, but everything we had was very good. Mussels, Salmon salad, fresh bread was great (I do not normally eat bread), ice tea and cocktails were good. Bar side was very busy and loud with live music, but the dining room was quiet. Thumbs up.

Enjoyed a fantastic lunch today, food was excellent. Kevin was our server and he was spot on. Will definitely go again, next time we are up there.
