This is the only place I'll trust with my AT gear. Staff are super knowledgeable and come well recommended.

They sell a good variety of gear and will work on skis and ATK bindings from other manufacturers. Call ahead for mounting or boot fitting to save time - they can get really busy and it's a small shop.

Alpine touring setups can also be rented here if you want to get into resort uphilling or backcountry skiing.

I drove 2.5 hours each way just to have them mount the bindings on my new skimo skis, and I'm glad I did.

These guys are the best! We bought some equipment from them last year and when we forgot to pack our skins this season, they let us borrow some free of charge and then offered us coffee afterwards. On top of being extremely knowledgeable, they are kind, generous, and just a really fun shop to visit!!

Driven by for years and first time stopping in... Needed bindings adjusted for new boots and they could not have been nicer or more accommodating. Left message, they called back quickly and I went in for adjustment. Knowledgeable, friendly and open to answering any questions form this novice back country guy... Spencer was great to deal and made short work of the adjustment and quick refresh on binding functions.

Five stars all day long...great vibe in the shop and friendly staff. Look forward to stopping back soon.

I have nothing but positive things to say about the shop. The guys working there are super generous with their time, knowledge, expertise etc. This place is a great asset for the community. It has been my local go-to shop even when I was living in SoCal, but even better to be able to visit in person since coming back to the northeast. For the cherry on top, Squall handles his fame with humility and grace!

I cannot say enough good things about this shop. From running, to biking, and most importantly skiing, these folks have it down. Personable, professional, and beyond knowledgable. I have become a regular and have become quite friendly with each of the staff members. You can walk in with confidence knowing that your questions will be answered and your gear pursuit will likely be fulfilled. I now have two full ski touring setups thanks to Andrew and co. Their coffee is also top notch gets me going every morning. Today Chris helped me out big time by punching out my boots to get a more custom fit, and now the boots fit like a dream!

The staff are extremely knowledgeable, patient, and friendly. They are committed to ensuring you are happy with the gear you purchase, and my experience is proof of this.

I purchased my alpine touring set (boots/bindings/skis/skins) from White Mountain Ski Co, but after a couple of adventures I realized the boots were not the right fit for my style of skiing. I brought them back in and they provided several options to solve the problem (with a range of price points, which was very considerate). I ended up going with a different boot and they only made me pay the small difference in price! They even re-mounted my bindings to fit the new boots free of charge. I have been happily skiing with my new setup and so grateful to the folks at White Mountain Ski Co helping me get into this crazy amazing sport.

One tip: they get busy on Saturdays in winter/early spring, so try to go on a Sunday afternoon or a weekday when they're open if you need a lot of one-on-one attention, though they still do a good job of managing their busy shop. 😊 Even if you don't ski, I recommend stopping in for a cup of coffee and pet the dogs and see if Pika is around.

Superb ski shop! I was referred here due to their expertise in Alpine touring and back country skiing. I was able to get a complete package that will set me up for success this winter. They are also extremely fast as setting bindings. I can't wait for snow....even though summer just started.

Andrew and his staff are exceptionally helpful, knowledgeable and reliable. The Fischer boots I demoed from there fit perfectly and performed better than I could have imagined. Check out this shop if you’re in the area and get a great cup of coffee from Pier. Love these guys!

Everyone there was very knowledgeable on the gear they were giving out. Very kind and helpful staff. Good selection of gear and great location with local glades. Could not recommend more.

Me and my buddies were in town for the weekend to #skithewhites when I broke a critical buckle on one of my boots. This should have put me out of business for the weekend, but #skithewhites Chris lent me his own personal boots to make sure I could #skithewhites all weekend long. Then #skithewhites Andrew located and ordered the hard-to-find replacement buckle and had it shipped to my house in VT, free of charge. This is the best ski shop in the East. They aren't just some knock off junk apparel brand, they are a full service ski shop that supports skiers. #SKITHEWHITES

Rented Backcountry skis, boots, and skins here! Super affordable as far as ski rentals go, great service, the people here are super kind, and best of all, they have dogs and cats too (but not for sale lol)

If there was ever a place where 5 stars wasn’t enough, this is it. I would put Ski The Whites up against any shop in the country. Whether you need a new AT set-up, trail runners, or some pedal power, Andrew and his team will get you on the goods. Spare Spark splitboard highback…check! This place epitomizes the community and essence of the White Mountains. Stop by, get happy, spread the stoke!

Andrew and Chris have been extremely helpful, educational, and kind during my (not short) journey of finding a Backcountry set up that works perfectly for me. This shop is full of hard-working, non-judgemental people with knowledge, patience, and professionalism to guide customers no matter what level they're at. A true gem and gift to our community!

The absolute best place in town to get your touring set up complete. Or to score a pretty sweet mountain bike. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable with a wide range of outdoor information, patient with their customers, and go out of their way to make sure that you are fitted to enjoy your outdoor fun the best way possible!
