Prima Pizza Kitchen

The eggplant pizza was to die for. Like nothing I’ve ever had - highly recommend. We also ordered their baked ziti, pizza fries, garlic/broccoli cavatelli which were all very good.

Like many great places, sometimes you just stumbled upon them. We were visiting a family member in the nearby hospital and were starving. We stopped at the closest place which was Prima Pizza Kitchen. Their pizza has a great crust on the bottom layer, and the top is just cheesy, tomato goodness. We also ordered the ziti and meatballs and the eggplant Parmesan. They were both super delicious and authentic. In addition, the portions were pretty generous. I would highly recommend this place if you like fresh ingredients and really yummy pizza! There are plenty of tables to either eat in or dine out.

I live up north, but stopped by a friends house close to this place. I got to say the chicken Marsala & penne vodka combo was one if the best I’ve ever had. While I was waiting for food due to them being busy the owner Jerry had me try a slice. Put it this way, I also ordered a pie to go. Place was packed with customers waiting. If you’re in rush, or complain about waiting this isn’t the place for you. If you like quality food, you’re not in rush and are a human being who loves food. This is 100% gonna hit those taste buds.

This place is excellent. One of if not the best pizza around. If you’re looking for a pizza other than a plain pie, I would suggest the Champlain, grandma vodka w/ sausage and my favorite, the upside down marinara.

5 stars all the way… don’t understand low ratings & bashing in posts because a persons opinion / feelings don’t align with someone else’s / a business showing support or drumming up new customers by offering specials to a new neighbor. Has nothing to do with the food or restaurant.

This pizza is AMAZING. I even ate it the next day, cold and it was still so delicious. Hot and fresh pizza is generally pretty good so a true test is cold, out of the fridge the next day. The crust is the perfect thickness to be satisfying, thick enough to hold the pizza that you can grab it and hold with 1 hand but thin enough that you're not eating all dough. The sauce is rich, flavourful and very garlicky. We got the Sausage and Broccoli Rabe pizza which was so so good. The broccoli rabe was a perfect pairing to the sausage, which was savoury and not too spicy and not too sweet. The Champlain pizza is a winner of the best pizza in central NJ, rightly so and don't let its simplicity fool you, it highlights the sauce, cheese and crust perfectly. You must try this place.

Great pizza! Walk up counter service to order then they bring the food to the table. The guy working at night was great, kept checking in on us and making sure everything was out and correct. Will definitely order food from here again but take out, it was a bit warm in there with the ovens on. Ordered their Champlain and vodka margarita pizza, both were DELICIOUS!

Came in Saturday with a good friend after knowing about this spot for awhile and heard nothing but fantastic things! The pizza was phenomenal and the service was absolutely great as well. Jerry, the owner was absolutely the best! We definitely appreciate it Jerry and we will be back! 10/10

The pizza was absolutely delicious. We got the Champlain, drunken Nonna, and pepperoni for the kids. They were all so different but all had great flavor. You can tell they use quality ingredients and I was so impressed at how crunchy it stayed even though we had take out.

Loved this place. Went there for the first time it is a very warm and welcoming place. Just ordered the cheese pie it was amazing loved every bite of it. A good quality with quantity for a great price.Would highly recommend this place. They also have variety of options in their menu. Will definitely be back.

Jerry and the team are very friendly. So many different pizzas to choose from. Must try pizzas: the Champlain (rated Central Jersey's #1), Eggplant marinara, upside down Sicilian, and anything with pepperoni (because they got the cups!)

My third time at Prima. I still have to try their meat based pizzas. Order the Vodka Margherita on a thin crust - it is out of this world. Tasty crust, amazing sauce, kind people. I’ll be back again

I live an hour+ away but had scouted out Prima Pizza Kitchen when coming in locally for a little league tourney. Got the drunken grandma and the Champlain based on recommendations from the Jersey Pizza Joints Facebook group. Two very different pies, both completely delicious. Wish I didn't live so far away.

I take pizza eating seriously. Prima takes pizza making far more seriously. There's no shortage of celebrated pizzerias in the area so the palate is well-travelled..this is the best pizza you can get around here. Their plain pie is killer and the eggplant marinara is inexplicably good if you want something new. Subs are great and generous, too.. Thankful for their good food and hard work!

Cute place with great pizza, definitely a hidden treasure from the main st of Somerville. Walk the extra couple blocks, you won't be disappointed!

30 year resident, born and raised in Bridgewater. Jersey is 100% the pizza capital of the states and anyone who says otherwise is either a fraud or just ignorant. Prima’s thin crust plain pie goes toe to toe with the best of them (better than DeLucias imo). Perfect balance between cheese, sauce, and crust. Light yet very tasteful.

The Drunken Grandma with meatball is FANTASTIC! Amazingly Talented Owner and Chef! Great Customer Service! Dining area is always super clean and well maintained. Always friendly and helpful staff!! Whether you pick up or get delivery through them, Prima Pizza Kitchen always hits it out of the park!!

Prima pizza is underrated. Try their signature pie if you like thin crust and saucy like me!
