Good selection on the menu for dinner and lunch combos.
Almost all the dinner selections are available as a lunch combo with soup, rice and an appetizer
Server was very attentive and checked on us frequently.
As far as atmosphere, they could keep it a little warmer. We shouldn't have to eat with our coats on to stay warm.

So many choices for a lunch plate. Fresh ingredients and perfectly cooked ingredients. The dinner menu is large and the portions at big. The waiter was informative, polite, and attentive.

Didn’t expect much coming in, but I was pleasantly surprised. Beef and broccoli, chicken and green beans, and sesame chicken were all pretty good. Service was extremely fast - we must have had food within 10 minutes of sitting down. My only complaint was that the chicken had some residual flour coating on it that tasted a bit strange, but otherwise it was a great experience.

Pleasant ambience; clean and well laid out. Very polite and professional associates. Cuisine was abundant and delicious. No wait and a very lovely experience. I'm from New York so it's got to be a two thumbs up.

I want to give this place a 4.5. Giving 4 is too cruel, but 5 is slightly too generous. This place is definitely a 4.5.

It's the best Chinese place on the west side of Manchester's river. Its 2 main competitors are on the east side. If you don't want to travel to the east side, eat here.

Its prices are competitive. Its lunch combo prices are slightly lower than competitors, when you realize they include soup, but its portion sizes are slightly smaller (smaller egg roll, smaller rice, smaller seafood). The tastes are all good but not quite as good as the 2 competitors (seafood slightly too sweet, soup slightly too bland). But the 2 competitors have their own problems, so this place is nice as an alternative. Worth a visit!

inside was nice and clean, the food was excellent, and the service was rad. Our server was Ryan, he provided excellent service and table manner, he was very polite and accommodating. Shout out to the man Ryan, he earned that 5 star rating.

To start, the drinks were amazing and the food was delicious and fresh tasting. The chicken fingers were crunchy and not your typical fluffy breading. I loved that. The best part was actually our server, Kevin. He went beyond expectations and helped my mom eat sushi for her first time! Set up her soy sauce and wasabi and made her feel comfortable. He made our experience fun and we hadn’t laughed that hard in a long time. The service and the food is what will bring us back there.

I'm currently at the place right now and it is PERFECT! the service is a 10/10! They got our drinks in less than 10 minutes..along with our soups as well. The coke wasn't bland and it was really good as well as the miso soup, it wasn't super salty nor super bland. I only give the food a 4/5 because I haven't had the main meal I ordered yet as I just ordered it, but I won't expect any different from the miso soup :) would definitely recommend this place! Update: just got our food, it was AMAZING! And the prices were very reasonable. The staff were all friendly too :) kudos! 🥰🥰

We have been to a few sushi bars in the area, and this one is easily the best. Service was excellent from the moment we walked in the door.

We sat at the bar and ordered cocktails - mai tai and blue Hawaiian. We expected sweeter cocktails, but instead they were PERFECTLY balanced! Really lovely.

We ordered the Japanese fried chicken appetizer, and crab Rangoon - very basic apps, and they blew us away. Fresh-tasting and hot!

We then ordered sushi to share - snow roll, amazing roll, and spicy tekka (tuna) roll. We saw Vincent (we later learned he is a sushi chef of 30 years, from Taiwan, who loves to golf) make our rolls very diligently and carefully. The taste was astounding, the freshest we’ve had in the area. The rolls were packed full of flavor, and even soy sauce felt unnecessary!

As we ate our sushi, Vincent floated over to us to ask how our meal was. He then told us about the fresh bluefin tuna and sea urchin that they’d got in to the restaurant that day - he told us that next time, we should get the bluefin tuna sashimi. He seemed passionate about the benefits of fresh fish in one’s diet, and how coveted bluefin tuna is even in East Asian culture. You can tell his work means a lot to him. We saw the staff’s interactions with customers and could tell that building relationships is important to them. They wanted to get to know us in such a kind way - and that they were proud of their product.

It was so refreshing to feel the staff care about the quality of their food. We love Asian cuisine, specifically sushi, and this place takes the cake! Could not recommend this spot enough.

We’ve tried this place a few times since moving to the area last year and the food has always been great. The General Tao’s chicken isn’t too doughy and is always properly cooked. In general, everything we have ordered has been freshly prepared, well seasoned and with good customer service.

Absolutely the best sushi around. Everything tastes fresh and presentation is top notch.
The apps and entrees are very good also. Something as simple as a spring roll tastes like it was just wrapped and made fresh.
Also the adult drinks are made with quality ingredients!
We moved from the area but always stop in when we are around.

My go-to takeout spot for Chinese. I have tried many options in the Manchester area and Taipei & Tokyo is the best! The food is great, they always get the order correct, and they are very timely. 10/10 would recommend.

The food, as always was delicious. Even the lunch portions are generous.
I haven't had a bad dish here. My current favorite is the sesame chicken. It is so light and crisp without heavy battering.
Reasonable prices.

Best egg rolls around!!! I always get pork fried rice but decided to go with the shrimp fried rice and it was delicious and i couldn’t believe the amount of shrimp!! The chicken and broccoli is phenomenal!! It’s a bit pricey but worth every penny!!! It is definitely my new favorite!!!

Really delicious food! My fiance ordered the pepper steak entree; he said that the steak was cooked to perfection. It wasn't chewie or dull like most take out places. The other great thing was the dumpling sauce. I don't know if it's just me, but in other places theirs would be sweet and supersaturated with soy sauce. Taipei &Tokyo's dumpling sauce was a unique spice and grace with it.

went here for my 20th birthday, received a surprise ice cream treat (delicious!!) and the food was hot and the best service and food you'll get for this area. staff is very nice and friendly, 10/10 experience. i order take out here all the time but I was pleasantly surprised to find out their in house is even better !

The best little secret I love to tell people about! Taipie & Tokyo has the best fresh sushi, dumplings, hot and sour soup, everything on the menu is GREAT! As for the service they are very very good to their customers! Thanks Kevin, my server every time! I hope you all get a chance to sit down and enjoy a beautiful meal!

Great sushi, pleasant service. Went here a lot as a teen since their prices are reasonable. Good selection, and big portions. I would recommend the amazing chicken, and pick lady roll. Great presentation. Good place.

I miss the old owner he was wonderful! The food is amazing and they are extremely quick! I read a couple of the bad reviews and came to realise that a great deal of them are seen on almost every restaurant review site giving bad ratings and I believe then to be trolls! Kaikai and muffin though is genuinely ignorant as if the food had actually given her food poisoning she would have notified the health board and the restaurant would be closed and if not closed it would've been heard about by now. Trolls are stupid.
