Went to Loon Mt for a snowboarding trip. It was a really good experience and had lots of fun laps with a group of friends on many blue & easy black trails. The views from the summit were phenomenal! We went right after a snowstorm, so the snow conditions were at its best! Really enjoyed the time at Loon and highly recommended to anyone!

Had a great time at Loon. It's so big that even when it's sold out it doesn't feel crowded. Lifts weren't too bad even with lots full and day passes sold out. Food at Camp 3 was good. Waffle cabin was delicious as expected. Lots of good skiers out there so easy to navigate even if it got crowded. If I'm ever back in the area I'll definitely be returning to Loon!

A really fun mountain with incredible views. It has enough terrain to keep you busy for two days for sure. The lodges were fine — not luxurious but food was tasty, and service fast and friendly. We only had one time with a long lift line too. Only complaint would be parking but we worked around it and the shuttles are plentiful. Love the half pipe (even just for gliding through it) and the varying levels of terrain parks. Stunning views, great terrain and acceptable lift lines — that’s a dream come true.

Great amenities, weather was not the best but mountain was still skiable and fun. Black diamonds were groomed and well maintained. Highly recommended and more affordable than the larger resorts.

Pretty cool! Personally, I'd only go midweek. However, if you go on a busy day, you can still find pockets of beautiful, more remote, advanced terrain.

Super friendly staff and great ski instructors. Many trails and great beginner area. Great new heated 8 person ski lift chairs. Nice cafeteria with big windows overlooking the hills where you can watch the people skiing coming down from the mountain. During weekend you can ride a steam train to transport you in between the 2 ski areas. Snow tubing mostly open during weekends. Rental is available at a reasonable price. Great friendly staff at the rental area. But overall all the team are very helpful and very friendly. Peak season is starting from Dec 25th. They open during Christmas and Christmas Eve. There is also a children area where they teach them how to ski. The beginner area has a lift carpet to take the beginners to a small hill and there is a lift chair called Kissinn Cousin that take you to a a hill that is suitable for beginners. There is also a cafe at the top of the mountain. The new heated 8 person lift chair is said to be the first one in the northeast. Plenty of open lockers at the lower level as well along the wall in the cafeteria.

Just came back from a ski trip with friends at Loon and we enjoyed our time there. The staff was super friendly. I ended up going to first aid and every single person I talked to was friendly and caring. From the dispatch team to the x-Ray technician, they we all very kind.
The only thing to consider is that the equipment cannot be left at the resort overnight. If you plan on picking up the rentals te day before, plan for taking them with you and leave the necessary car space for it.

Skied a few times here. Terrain is wide open and easy to find. New bubble lift is comfortable and quick. I also like the parking options and the shuttle for the furthest lots. Very nice for a middle of the road resort, highly recommend

Great spot with quick lift lines. They opened the South peak and it visibly helped spread the crowd. Head up the Gondola to hang at the top of the mountain lodge, even if you aren't skiing.

I stayed at Loon Mountain Resort and went skiing for two days. It was my first time staying here and it was awesome. The hotel and the slopes. Greg the ski patrol guy was very sweet and a notable employee. Scott also gave me a great massage. We will be back!

Large open mountain with runs for every skill level. I haven’t taken any lessons so I can’t comment on that aspect of Loon.

I visit (almost exclusively) on weekends— Saturday can get crowded with many of the green runs swamped with new riders. Sunday is usually quiet until 10-11AM so if you’re fast, you can get a couple of runs to yourself! The food and drink prices are not ridiculous but it isn’t cheap per se.

In general, most runs are wide open and groomed daily. Some of the blues are a little icy at times but Loon’s snowmaking really helps soften the blows.

Highly recommend, probably one of the best ski resorts within 2hrs of Boston. In addition, an incredible value with the New England Ski Pass— the pass has paid for itself twice this season!

The review is for the ski lessons. I signed up all my kids for group lessons. The older ones had only 2 kids in the group. And the little one was pretty much also one on one. I was surprised the 5- year old lasted the whole day. You have to sign up for lessons 48 hours in advance online or in my case I called the day before. The lessons took place on Sunday

Love this mountain and would recommend it for beginners and expert. Green circles are a smooth ride and the park is pretty sweet to shred!

Beautiful spot for a late summer wedding. We took the gondola to the summit and walked down to the amphitheater. Stopped for a drink at the Summit Bar. Fantastic bloody Mary. Totally recommend as a destination wedding.

Love everything about this mountain. Staff are friendly, good and drink is great and served all over the mountain including the Summit. Crowds are high on Saturdays but you can beat them if you get there early, it doesn’t get crazy until like 11am or so, and stays really busy until about 2pm. All other days aren’t bad at all. The snow making, grooming, and available lifts are top notch for the East. The expansion of South Peak and Timbertown, as well as speeding up other lifts, has made a big difference. Love this mountain

What a great family get-a-way. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left we were taken care of every moment. From awesome skiing to hot-tubbing-massaging-eating and singing & dancing the night away with the friendliest people you didn't know. Thank you for a great time "Bird Family"

Great family resort. A large group of family and friends goes here annually and it's always a pleasure with fast lift lines, good variety of terrain for all skill levels and multiple lodge/hut/cabins for grabbing a bite throughout the day
