Awesome experience! More than just snow caves, it has slides galore, visual journeys, free snow tubing, hot. Coco n amazing ice igloo bar, food truck , amazing time for $30person! Buying tickets ahead is REQUIRED. definitely wear boots! Tons of slush on the ground makes it difficult walking. Definitely checkout The mystic Forest lighted walkway! Highly recommend this experience

It was stunning, definitely wear boots or some thing that will give you good traction because there were lots of icy spots! It was really fun even the strangers were friendly! They do also have areas where you can warm your hands over gas fireplaces.

Fun fun fun! A must visit. They have added many more activities compared to 2017 the last time I visited. The ice slide and snow tubing were fun. There were sleigh rides with beautiful horses which we didn't book. However, the ride appeared very short. The mystical forest setup was really cool with all ice statues of dragons.

We first went years ago, it may have been their first year, and it was amazing.

This year we returned and it was quite a bit bigger and able to handle many more people.

I think our favorite part were the lighted trails. Very cool.

I would suggest more subdued ambiant lighting since it washed out the colors a little bit. Most likely they are bright for safety reasons but even if they used different colored lighting for this purpose, it would amplify the lighting on the ice structures.

Waited in a long line, but it went quick. Lots of people . Great job on the castles. Colors were awesome. Dress warm. Wear boots. Some spots you sink down into the snow. The ice igloo bar was very cool and colorful. Too many people waiting, so didn't stop there. The walk through the woods was cool. Music and colorful large bird nests. Kids were having fun tubing down the hill. There were sleigh rides. There was an area that was selling some sort of food or drinks. Gift shop on the way out.

What a fun place! It’s worth a trip! We got there around 4pm and stayed for over 4 hrs. This place is for anybody, kids to adults; tubing, mini ice slides, inside of ice castle with lights, horse slay ride, ice curving decoration in the forest etc, so much to do. They had a pub and food truck to eat and drink.
Staff:5 stars- very friendly
Parking:5 stars- no lines
Food and drink: 5 stars (french flies, hot coco, apple cider )
Entertainment: 5 stars- list everything what you want to do otherwise you get too excited and forget to do all. lol

It’s nice to be there both during the day and night. Highly recommended!
Oh don’t forget to wear ski jackets, pants and boots :)

(Only the downside was no bathrooms besides portable ones. )

I would recommend to all my friends💕

This was cool. Pun intended. We all had a blast. It's lit up so very colorful. Well organized. Parking was good and people were helpful to get parked. They have food options there but we didn't try any food.
The have snow slides and everyone had fun.

My wife and I had a great time here. The Ice Castle is pretty cool (sorry), the sleigh ride was fun, our drinks at the Polar Pub were fun. The trail hike\walk was easy and well done. We spent around an hour and a half. We drove six hours round trip.
We would probably do it again next year.

We love it! Early around 2pm its the best time, not too cold, and shorts lines for tubing and slides. Snow pants are the best option for the cold and the best slide ride, the regular pants or jeans. It's not slippery, and you get stock.

We had such a fun time at the Ice Castles! It was very cold out, but once you started walking it got better. It was lit up beautifully and there was an ice bar out in the woods that was serving hot and cold drinks. There was also a path through the woods with ice sculptures and cool lighting.

We went at night and it was pretty cool. It was fun walking around the ice castles and through the woods all lit up. They have a few fun ice slides too. The line for tubing was super long so we didn’t do that and passed on sleigh ride too. The ice castles are super cool though and worth it. Biggest downside was super muddy parking lot.

This place is a great winter activity for kids and adults. The ice castles were mesmerizing and a must visit place. Make sure to wear the right shoes and clothes as this place can get really cold. They have narrow ice tunnels that you could pass through if you are the adventurous kinds. They had a small slide through some ice caves. They also have a bar serving some hot and cold drinks along with a fire place to get yourself a little warm in this majestic place. Towards the end of the structures, there is a snow mountain that you could slide from. It's in addition to the main ticket. After experiencing the ice castles, definitely go for a walk in the woods to witness a spectacular display of lights to end your day. Would recommend to book an evening slot as they light up the castles as well.

Absolutely gorgeous. Fun for kids and adults. Great experience! Look for mats for ice slides, they have them next to at least 1 of the ice slide exhibits.

What a fun experience of both ice and lights. Great for children and old people. We arrived on the only warm day and the parking lot was muddy but the staff did an excellent job parking us. Spent 90 minutes there.

The ice castles are always such a great experience. This year they had a great build with several nice large archways and tunnels. It's beautiful all lit up at night.

Ice walls made with frozen ice with bunch to tunnels and couple of small slides and a small.snow tubing place is included for the.price. it's freezing cold so go prepared to cover. Even a high quality winter shoe didn't protect from toes going numb after an hour.

But it was a fun 2 hour for kids and exhausted to get out after that. Some snack available inside for purchase.

You have to buy the entrance ticket well in advance. It's a one time visit, I wouldn't spend $$ to go again.

Really pretty ice igloos and fun place for a family visit during the winter. There was a decent amount of windchill (probably made it 15 degrees f colder than what the thermometer said) so I would highly recommend a warm hat, gloves, and maybe a scarf to make it much more enjoyable!

It was beautiful. if you do, go dress warm and wear boots. The snow in some areas is deep. Buy tickets ahead of time cause if you don't, you may not get in.

Drove up to the Ice Castles from CT, 4 hours away... was so nervous they were going to be underwhelming... and my daughter and I had the completely opposite experience! SO AWESOME, and so worth the trip! Go at DUSK so you can see it in the light & at night!
