Tuscany Tavern

a regular favorite for my family and i. incredible food and service in a tiny hole in the wall spot. you can see the chefs cook while you dine. the chicken saltimbocca is incredible! couldn't recommend tuscany tavern enough.

Celebrated my dads birthday here and it was a perfect night from beginning to end. Staff was attentive and the food was amazing. Took us right back to Italy! The waitress even brought a bowl of ice cream with a candle in it, after my father said he was too full for dessert (but apparently not too full for ice cream!!)

This is my new favorite Italian spot in Plymouth. It is like going to the north end. The chicken parmigiana was lights out. Soup was delicious. Service was on point. This place is very small “ like 8 tables” so expect to hear your neighbor talk. But like I said before Food is amazing

Very charming restaurant! The food was amazing and the service is superb. Small and quaint restaurant... it's a must try if you're in the area.

My husband and I have dined there frequently for at least 10 years. It never disappoints: charmingly small, amazing bread, delicious meals, attentive service and fair prices. It’s small so make a reservation. You won’t be disappointed.

Our main course meals were delicious and the plates offered an appealing presentation.

It’s a comfortable and cosy atmosphere and the prices were very reasonable with a great waitress .

Can’t wait to go to Tuscany Tavern again.

My Daughter and her beau found this quaint spot about a month ago - We all went this past saturday night and it was a pleasant surprise . -- Food and wine is excellent and the service was wonderful - It will become our new favorite go to for Italian food!

Excellent traditional Italian food at a very good price. My one minor quibble is that we were seated at a table right in the middle, and the servers had to constantly squeeze by us to reach tables.

Excellent service, delicious, authentic food. We loved our evening at Tuscany Tavern. The Spaghetti al Carbonara was as good as it gets.

This place is absolutely amazing. Hands down my favorite Italian restaurant in town, and one of my favorite restaurants overall. My husband had the chicken carbonara, which he loved, and I had the lobster ravioli, which was so incredibly delicious—the best lobster ravioli I’ve ever had. The Cesar salad and bread were awesome too. Everything tastes fresh, authentic, and homemade.

Outstanding food at very reasonable prices. Very authentic dishes. Great selection of Italian wines also. I spent 4 years in Italy, so I believe I can be a fair judge of such matters. The dining area is small, but that's the only drawback. You cannot go wrong here! 😄

Absolutely one of the best italian restaurants I have been to. As good, if not better than many of the restaurants in the north end or in little Italy in New York.

Tiny. Love that about this place. Very much what dining in Italy is like, especially Florence. Reminds me of going down into a basement eatery and having a great meal. Don't think you'll be eating quickly, that's part of the charm here. Slow down, eat, have a glass of wine, savor your food. Will be back for sure. Loved the putanesca.. Amazing.

Nothing but 5 stars for this amazing little restaurant. We go here many times throughout the year and every single experience is so enjoyable. The prices are so reasonable for the high quality of food. I highly recommend this hidden gem in the heart of North Plymouth.

Small dining room and open kitchen concept. Authentic Italian cuisine. Short limited varied excellent menu. It is NOT the Olive Garden.
Great place for an intimate meal with friends and attractively priced.

Quaint authentic Italian restaurant. This place is about as mom and pop as it gets. There are maybe 20 seats in the entire restaurant, making it a bit crowded but very intimate atmosphere. The food is spectacular, as are the wait staff. I highly recommend trying Tuscany Tavern if you can get a reservation.

Everything was excellent. Had a great braised beef appetizer salad, potato gnocchi w tomato sauce and a cannoli for dessert. Wife had a seafood risotto and pumpkin cheesecake for dessert. Wine was very good. Service was worthy of the 25% tip I left. Oh, and the bread and virgin olive oil was out of this world.
Small, intimate, homey spot in the center of north Plymouth. If you dont try it your missing out.

Small and cosy. Great service and food. Should know they only had wine and beer, but we had a great bottle of chianti. Specials were all tempting and good

The food here is very good, but the main attraction is the warmth and comfort of the setting. It is almost as if you were in Italy, in the kitchen of a busy cook. It is small and intimate and easy to miss as you drive by in an off center location. Downtown Plymouth has good lower cost Italian restaurants (Mama Mia's) and more upscale offerings (Strega and Patrizia's), but the Tuscany Tavern may be the place you return to. Reservations suggested.

Amazing food and a true dining experience. This isn't the type of place to come for a quick meal. Everything is timed beautifully to allow diners to spend time enjoying each other's company. Truly one of the best dining experiences in the South Shore.
