I recently dined at this Mediterranean restaurant and despite the long wait, which is understandable due to their small staff, the food was truly worth it! They started us off with a small plate of hummus and warm bread. This combo alone was filling for me, but we paced ourselves to fully enjoy our entrees. We ordered Shepard salad and Mixed grill platter for me and my husband. The meat was seasoned and cooked perfectly and we even had enough to bring home for another meal. The staff was very friendly. Highly recommended!

Best falafel I've ever had! Moist and delicious. I had practically given up on falafel since the ones I've tried are usually bone dry. Elmas won me over. The lebne and babaganoush was tasty. Nice warm bread to dip. Their kazan dibi is absolutely delicious. First time having it, so I can't compare, but I enjoyed every bite. Be sure to check them out. You won't regret it if you enjoy Turkish and Mediterranean food.

Came here for take out on a Thursday. Used the hexadecimal code to look at the menu. One of the men who works there brought us tea while we waited. We had two kebab orders and tabuli salad. The kebabs were a lot of food and we both had enough left over for lunch next day. The smokiness of the lamb was amazing and the rice was soft and flavorful. I would come back for sure.

This place was really amazing. Great food and atmosphere. The owner was very friendly. All the dishes, from the babaganoush and falafel appetizers to the kunefe dessert, were delicious. We had bronzino, lamb and chicken combination and the chicken kabob entrees.

Went with the family to try out Elmas after seeing good reviews. We came in and sat down in the front corner and host greeted us and told us to scan the digital menu. They brought us a carfe of water right away.

We ordered the chicken fingers w fries for my son and sweet potato fries, the chicken fingers was a really big portion for a kid. We ordered the Soslu Patlican as an appetizer to dip w the complimentary Turkish Ramadan pide bread. It was soon good, it was crispy, warm and flaky on the outside and soft in the middle.

We ordered the mixed grill as our main entree and there was 3 of us and we didn't finish and had to take it home, probably because we ate too much bread...lol. The restaurant was a hit

3 of us went around 9:30 thinking they close at 11 based on google hours. They hours on the door had an earlier closing time yet we were able to get served. Food was fresh and service was good. We were checked on multiple times during our dinning experience and would go back again.

It's a gem of a place. We had lunch here on Mother's day. The food was absolutely delicious. We had mixed cold appetizers with hummus and Babaganoush and SosluPatlican, it came with Turkish bread, and everything was fresh and excellent. For the main course, we had Chicken Adana Kabob, Lamb Sheesh Kabob, Chicken Kabob, Chicken Chops, and Garbanzo beans. These were some of the best Kabobs we ever had. The service was excellent, it's a family-run restaurant, and you get treated like a guest, not a customer.

Sorry for not having the clean picture before I partly or fully finished the food. It was that good! Starting from their bread, crispy outer eith airy in the middle, kicked my appetite on an overdrive.
Their grape leaf rice was amazing with lemon juice on top, grilled kofte, lamb, and chicken was perfectly seasoned and cooked, and kanufa was the perfect dessert to finish the meal.
I did not love their gaunush as I am not a big fan of chickpeas. And I did not love their baklava for having too much nuts. I have very specific likes.

Love their food and I would go back a million times whenever I am in town.

What can I say about this place. I trusted the Google reviews and stopped by this place on the way to the Poconos from Long Island. I'm still dreaming of the hummus. The food was literally amazing. The quality, taste, and smell of each item blew my wife and I away. You must go this place! It's life changing!

Incredible Mediterranean (Turkish) food. Flavors and quality were spot on. Wish they had more Turkish Kabobs varieties but what was on offer were incredible. Our favorites were of course the Adana, Kibbeh, Warm bread, Bulgur, Liver and the shepherd salad. Abdul (the Owner) is a very kind hearted soul, please do have a word with him on the journey of food.

This is my first restaurant review ever. I felt compelled to write it after trying Elmas today. I had heard great things about it, so I went with very high expectations and was not disappointed. In fact, I was treated by a taste explosion! The food and service were exceptional! I treated myself with an appetizer sampler platter with vegetarian Turkish delicacies, followed by another sampler platter as the main course with four types of fresh, tender, and juicy chicken and lamb kabobs, each with a distinct divine taste of its own. I had barely any room remaining, but couldn’t resist the delicious Turkish pudding for dessert, washing it all down with a warm and relaxing cup of Turkish tea. I have tried Turkish and other Mediterranean cuisine at various joints in Washington, DC, New York, Tampa, Miami, Orlando, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Austin, Seattle, Los Angeles, and San Francisco, but this was by far my best experience. I would not only strongly recommend you to try it if you are in northern New Jersey, I would recommend you to drive all the way from New York just to experience this hidden gem the next time you are in the city.

Elma’s offer an incredible value for one’s money. From the moment one walks into the restaurant one is transported into an authentic Turkish paradise. The staff is kind and attentive and the food is both delicious and tastefully presented. The owner came to our table to converse and to ensure that we were having a pleasant time. In addition to the restaurant area, the locale has two separate rooms for office type celebrations and another, larger, room for banquets. Whatever the side of your group, Elma’s will accommodate your needs.

Absolutely love this place. Been coming here for years and its been delivering consistent satisfaction. Their lunch specials are superb. Dinner menu is also great. Great grilled meats, salads, mezzes, and top it off with some authentic turkish deserts. I only wish that they had the doner kebab available all week instead of just the weekends, but I guess some things are so good you have to wait for it.

What a fabulous meal. Everything was super delicious and authentic. And cooked really well - juicy Kebabs are rarer than people think. The owner was a great chap and really takes pride in the food he puts out. I’d highly recommend the kebab platter, a great way to sample the various options on the menu. Hummus, babaganoush and calamari were awesome to begin with. And both the flan and the rice pudding a perfect end to the meal.

Great service, very friendly staff and management. They have hands down one of the beet Kebab I have in a while. The meat was very tendered and grilled perfectly. The grilled chicken was very good as well. The cold appetizers were not that good except for the Hummus. Prices are decent and below average for such an establishment.

Very good place to eat! I ordered out and when my food wasn't quite ready, they gave me some hot tea while I waited. The customer service was great and the food was tasty!

I had tried many Turkish places around the area, but Elmas was by far one of the best. The food was absolutely amazing. We really loved the taste. The staff were extremely friendly. We were there for iftar during Ramadan and they brought out our orders right on time. They also accommodated for prayer space. Overall, this is a great Turkish restaurant and we highly recommend it for anyone who is looking to try the place. This will be our goto Turkish place moving forward!
