The Webster Arboretum

I started exploring the parks we have in Monroe County, and so far, The Webster Arboretum is by far the nicest park I've found. It's away from any major traffic, so all you hear is the nature. The flower gardens are beautiful, and the park is meticulously maintained.

Well kept. Absolutely stunning landscaping. Very peaceful. Perfect for going on a walk on your own or with a date.

This is hands down one of my fave places in the area, whether to commune with nature, do photos (involving people or just the scenery) or to simply show others the beauty nearby

Enjoyed walking around the park, sunny and shaded spots, plenty of flowers around but I can imagine it would be even more beautiful in spring and early summer. We found a gazebo, plenty of benches for relaxing and we found a couple of spots by the water as well. There are ball fields, a playground and even though we didn't get to explore, there are trails to explore as well. Definitely worth a return visit.

Very beautiful place in all seasons, however it is especially beautiful in the spring and summer months. There are playgrounds and fields near by for kids and activities. The arboretum offers a space to rent which would be nice for weddings or showers alike.

This place is so beautiful. So many family memories including my own wedding. Such a hidden gem.

Very pleasant place with every tree, plant, brick and gazebo in memory of someone. I liked it.

Fantastic place for looking at different plant life. It's great for holding get togethers. Facilities are very clean.

I met a friend for a morning walk here. It was such a beautiful, peaceful place. We walked on the paths among the specimen trees as well as the trails through the woods around the perimeter. There's a stream and a pond here.

Lilac in bloom. And redbud as well. New leaves springing from such a variety of trees! Lovely benches.

Was married here 7 years ago. Took our daughters on our anniversary for a walk and some playground time.

One the best places to visit in Monroe county, quite peaceful with nice play ground for the kids.

Place for getting lost in yourself. Cacophony of birds is musical. The tiny library in the maze is an add on.

It's still muddy in places, so wear appropriate footwear!

I love learning about the different trees and plantings that do well in our area. Well labeled and maintained!

I can't believe I've lived here all my life and never visited this arboretum before! It's a beautiful sanctuary. Nice little paths to meander upon while looking at the trees and flowers. Everything is labeled and well cared for. If you choose to walk the more-wooded trails, I would highly recommend pants, sleeves and insect repellent. Even earlier in the year there were a lot of mosquitos. There is a building that can be rented out and plenty of parking. Definitely excited to go back in a month to see what is newly blossomed!
