Buffalo Cabins and Lodges

My family and I stayed at the Cantwell Prairie cabin and guest house over Christmas with our 3 dogs and it was fantastic. Beautiful property, spacious, the Guest House was GREAT, plenty of outdoor space to take the dogs for a hike. The cabin and guest house were both very clean, had well stocked kitchens, plenty of towels and plenty of space for the 8 of us. There was a beautifully decorated tree. The Management staff was great to work with and very attentive with answering questions. The entire stay was smooth and a great time for the family to gather and decompress.

Super clean cabin. By far the most clean cabin I have ever been in. No dirt anywhere! Hats off to the person who cleans this cabin. The hot tub was amazing! Huge, clean and worked 100% as it should. The cabin was beautiful and the land quite. When we first pulled up we were meet by a momma deer and her baby. We stopped to wait for the baby to cross the road to get to its mom and just enjoyed their beauty. We were visited by many deer. We even had a Cardinal visit the living room window every morning at 7am. The lake down the trail was beautiful and very peaceful. This cabin was great to get away from the world and just enjoy and respect nature.

The cabin we rented was exactly as advertised which is huge to me! It came with a large cabin and a guest cabin. You can’t rent them separately so that was great because we had no “neighbors” close and had room in both cabins. The guest cabin had a huge game room in the bottom level (garage). It was so much fun! The larger cabin was so nice. The kitchen was so well stocked that we had no trouble cooking meals for 10 people. The outdoor fireplace was a wonderful spot to sit and catch up. The patio offered lots of comfortable seating. The inside layout of the cabin was great too. We all had our own bathroom and space. There’s a bedroom on the main floor so if you don’t want to deal with steps it’s perfect and comes with it’s own bathroom. There’s plenty of parking for all your cars too. The cabin sits back a little from the road so you don’t really hear other cars. The rock steps down to the outdoor fire-pit were small steps and perfect for elderly or little ones. The rental wasn’t cheap BUT it offered everything we wanted/needed to have a very comfortable stay with all our adults children, their spouses and our grandchildren. You can’t put a price on that! We would absolutely rent a cabin from them in the future.

Enchanted Forest cabin was amazing! There were 9 of us ranging in age from 45-15. We had plenty of room. It was immaculately clean. Even the outside porch and furniture was free of spider webs,ECT which is impressive with such a large space. Comfortable beds, nice kitchen. The game room was a huge hit, along with the hot tub. Very private and secluded, yet close enough to grocery/gas. Short drive to Hocking Hills State Park. Our teens had fun swimming at Tar Hollow State Park beach, there is a large pier for them to jump off and do cannon balls. Great place to stay!

It was our second stay at the Songbird cabin. We once again had an incredible time on our stay. It was very relaxing to just sit in the hot tub listening and watching the wildlife in the woods. The only disappointment we had was, we couldn't bring our furry family member with us. So our next trip to the area we will have to find a cabin that is furry family member friendly. 😔 We would highly recommend checking them out for your trip to the hocking area.

Amazing experience! We stayed at Starry Night cabin and loved every minute of it!! We unexpectedly got snowed it and had more then enough things do! We enjoyed the hot tub multiple times a day, played board games, watched movies, and played pool! Very secluded, peaceful, beautiful cabin! Will be returning! Highly recommended for families

Stayed at Cantwell Prairie in mid November. Absolutely beautiful and serene. The houses accommodated our family of 15 perfectly. The Buffalo Lodges team was very helpful and prompt (great pizza recommendations too!).

We’ve stayed at different cabins each year in Hocking and this one was the cleanest by far. You can tell they take pride in the work they do to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Can’t recommend enough. Would definitely book again

My family and I stayed at the Bear crossing cabin. It was a beautiful cabin and we liked how it set back in the woods and had lots of privacy. The cabin was super clean and very spacious. The hot tub was amazing especially after all the hiking we did.

This cabin was perfect! We stayed in Buck Ridge Cabin. So cute and quint! But it did have a lot of beds/space. We loved all the outside seating areas for just relaxing! Nice Firepit ring and hot tub! Had everything we needed and was very clean! Here’s a few pics I took while there. We will definitely go back!

Our cabin was beautiful, secluded (at the end of road 1/2 surrounded by trees) and relatively close to Hocking Hills! The hot tub was amazing after a day of hiking. They also had a grill and fire pit. They essentially had everything you would need away from home (pillows, blankets, towels, washcloth, dishes, pans, few board games, etc). No on-site laundry, but that was fine. The AC worked well too.

We had a wonderful stay at the Secluded Cabin in Hocking Hills. The cabin was clean and spacious. It was everything we wanted and more. We will definitely consider staying here again because we loved it so much.

We stayed at Hickory House with our dogs. The cabin was immaculate and well stocked.
The property is secluded, peaceful and has a small pond on the property a short hike away. My boyfriend even caught and released a few bluegill. The hot tub is also super clean and was perfect after a long day of hiking.
I highly recommend staying here.

we always head to Hocking Hills for a getaway from our stressful jobs where we live in Cincinnati. We've stayed in other Buffalo lodging co. cabins before but all are booked up often. So I booked one two months in advance to secure the cozy one bedroom Waterfall cabin on the last wknd of March.

But when we arrived at 430p, we were dismayed to find that there was no electricity nor water due to the recent windstorm that surged through the county that afternoon.

Called the owner, Janelle, immediately to report the outage.
And instead of making us wait for hours in the charming but dark and cold cabin or worse, having to drive all the way back to Cincinnati or a hotel with a raincheck, she stated that there is one cabin that wasn't booked for the weekend. She asked if we just want to move there once its driveway is cleared out of debris and walk through is done to make sure everything is working up there. Why yes if no extra charge.

So four hours later, we got upgraded to a bigger cabin before sunset

Moonlit Trail cabin has hiking trails at the back, a firepit for my husband to build his bonfire and a hot tub in the open deck. It is secluded/private and yet open to use our Sky View app for constellations. Barely need to use the t.v. And we have wi-fi so I could still do school work in early mornings before cooking our meals in the big kitchen. It was bliss.

We were more than just comfortable. We felt so pampered. Hope to bring more friends and family for another buffalo cabin stay next time.

Great little cabin. Our only complaint was that the wood-burning fireplace insert is quite small. This would be the PERFECT cabin for our annual trip to Hocking Hills if the original large fireplace was functional. Otherwise, though, we absolutely loved this little place!

We got married in Hocking Hills and stayed at Hocking Creek Reserve with our kids, and it was absolutely perfect! It even had a Christmas tree which was lovely.It was quiet and no other cabins were around. The beds were very very comfortable and there was plenty of space for everyone. Very easy check in. Very nice cabin!

Fabulous Cabin, beautiful and roomy, all the supplies you need. If you love dark and cold sleeping quarters (which I love) the basement rooms are for you. The kitchen big and roomy. The pool was fabulous and lots of fun. Be prepared to make the walk up and down the hill to get to and from the pool, but we used our car so it wasn't so bad. We had a great time and spent our nights around the fire pit. Definitely recommend this cabin.

Our cabin was beautifully appointed and very clean. We had a great long weekend hiking with the dogs. Management was extremely responsive with all my questions. We cannot wait for our next stay!

Beautiful private house. Our family had a great time here. Wild turkey's and deer in the backyard! Very relaxing with the pool and hot tub. Would definitely recommend the Grand Bentley Lodge.
