Whether you're shopping or just strolling down memory lane, this place offers a consistently cool experience! The diverse collection caters to every gamer's delight – from retro games to gently used new ones, consoles, handhelds, manga, and even figurines. Needless to say, it's a nostalgic journey where you rediscover items you haven't laid eyes on since childhood.

I love this store, and the owner, Retro Mike, is the nicest guy. Prices are fair, and he not only sells, but he fixes consoles and controllers for a fair price

This store might freak you out if you don't know what you are looking for. If you do know, have a chat with one of the store staff. They seemingly know everything about the gaming systems from the last few decades. Lots of games on display, for nearly any system you can think of. They even have a few of the legacy systems for sale. My sons and I were treated well and liked chatting with the guy helping us. We'll definitely be back! Oh, when you are looking for the store, it's just north of the Will Library and they currently have no overhead sign, just any empty light box. Happy hunting (BTW, they buy stuff too).

This shop has one of the best collections of any game store I’ve visited. The first thing you'll notice is how massive their collection is. There are many options for gamers of all systems though I was personally interested in the Playstation 1 and 2 sections. The owner is also very down to earth and even cut a few dollars off when I bought games or used his disc scratch removal service. I've seen a few complaints about the lack of price tags on the games however, it’s understandable with the frequent changes in prices on the market. I'll also add that, unlike most game stores, his video game collection is in excellent condition.

This is a good shop. I went in looking for Saturn games and ended up finding some gems. I dealt directly with the owner, who was professional and fair with the pricing. The 4 games I bought work perfectly and
I'll definitely do business here again.

GREAT FOR COLLECTORS!
Retro-X-Change has an awesome community vibe, and a really great inventory of thousands of games, consoles, and collectibles! The staff is also very helpful and friendly. You can find anything from new games, retro, collectors, and limited edition releases. They also have snacks in the store as well that you can purchase as well for your long gaming sessions. They don't ship games online, and this is because it allows them to keep a strong local community, which I find highly respectable.
Lastly, the store is not very large, but is kept clean and easy to walk through! I will be returning in the near future.

Overall Rating: 10/10 🔥🔥🔥👏🏻

My partner and I love this place. We both turn into little kids every time we visit. The owner, Mike, is such a nice, chill guy. Everyone who works there is. They have an anime store open now too! Definitely recommend to anyone who’s into collecting or looking for retro or current games.

My brother and I walked into the store, and we were overwhelmed by the amount of throwback games we saw from the start. The showcases include Gameboy, and N64 games, to start. We asked if they have PS2 games in stock, and they said, "more than you can imagine." We proceeded to walk to the back of the aisle to check out the PS2 games, and they had literally more than I could imagine; Sega, NES, SNES, XBOX, 360, and even TURBO GRAFIX 16!!! Furthermore, they were super knowledgeable about any question we had. The games ended up being priced reasonably, which was refreshing. These guys take you down memory lane in the best way you could ever imagine. I even asked about a super obscure system (VecTrex), and although they didn't have it in stock, one of the employees knew all about it. CRAZY. This is literally the Dragon's Den we've been longing for.

Initially brought my son's PS4 - since it didn't take/eject and read discs - to Asurion/UbreakIfix New Rochelle which kept the console for 10 days, to finally tell me that it was not repairable... I felt Asurion/UbreakIfix repair staff didn't do their job. I decided to bring it to Retro-X-Change team. They were friendly and knowledgeable and replaced the drive. Additionally, they informed me that when it was opened by asurion/ubreakifix, screws were not put back and they didn't bother even cleaning inside. It took only one day to get the repair done.... now it works and needless to say... I highly recommend Retro-X-Change

This place is absolutely phenomenal!
Their customer service is unmatched, and I have never had such a great experience in a retro game store in my life. I bought a NES there recently and Mike helped me in completely replacing the 72 pin connector in order to bring it back to perfect condition. This store leaves me wanting to come back every time I go home because of how great it is!

Hands down the best gaming store I've been too. The only store that will still take your old games, toys, collectibles, and systems for a fair price. Not only is it fair, but they do way better than GAMESTOP. If you still have those retro games and toys from the 80s,90s,early 2000s that gamestop stopped taking yrs ago, you can still get great value for them. If you were one of those people who liked that one random game that wasn't popular, they have it. The staff is incredible, laid back, and very proactive in meeting consumer's needs. Even if its something that's seems almost impossible to fix, Tito the engineer goes finds a way to get it up and running again. The staff always helps find even the most rarest of games as they literally have a huge library of games for each platform. For the very few negative reviews below, they are hustlers who are trying to make a quick buck for something they know has no value. They don't understand how a business runs and the shop doesn't exist for their own benefit, it's for the owner too. Just because they spent 60 bucks on a worthless sports game in 2005 doesn't mean they will even get 75 percent of that almost two decades later. And to those who also complain how they can get it cheaper at eBay, I doubt its original and kept in the condition MIKE does. Mike sells and buys at competitive prices and proves it too. If you looking for a great experience and acquire a taste of nostalgia at awesome prices, this is the place to come.

My husband and I always love coming to this store since we found out about it late last year. They always have new and different items, besides video games as well, and it's always fun to go check out and buy! The owner Mike is like a brother to all. Very friendly, chill and talks to you like he's known you for years. Keep up the amazing work with this amazing store that keeps the kid in us alive!

I bought a G 1 Soundwave, Sludge, start trek figures and other items from the store. The staff is knowledge and helpful. They have a ton of retro games and toys at their location. It's a must visit in Yonkers. There's a toy store by me in the Bronx but I rather deal with these guys. The owner gives you an advice average price on trade ins.
