I went in to have a copy of a key made. They were very helpful and fast. Great place.

These guys are awesome! Don't go to Lowe's, don't go to Home Depot -- where if you have a question you have to walk around for 15 minutes trying to find the right person. These guys know what they're talking about and offer great service and fair prices.

My family has been going to sprain hardware for about 30 yrs. Back when they were originally in tanglewood shopping center. They're very knowledgeable about home projects and general projects always friendly and instructive. You'll see the difference between massive stores vs your local store. These guys didn't start working there 2 weeks ago lol.....

These guys are great! Its a mom and pop hardware store. These guys really know their stuff. If they don't have it they try to send you somewhere that does specialize or carry it. Thank God stores like this are still around.

The gentleman there was very knowledgeable. I came in to change my house lock and unlike Home Depot who just point you to where the locks are, he walked me through which lock was best for me... I don't think I spent anymore than I would have at Home Depot.

I like this place gives me old school vibes the people would always help , even when I call and ask if they have something they always pick up!

I just saw Bill and Chris... Service, service, service! Always with a smile. Family owned operation that can get you anything and give you the information that you need any time you need it. We have known the family since 1966 and we used their hardware store mainly in the Tanglewood shopping center when it was there many years ago. However, the service has not changed nor the people who run it. We go back to the days when the dad and the grandfather ran the place in Tanglewood and now Chris and Billy and one other brother run the place on Tuckahoe road. The grassy sprain hardware store has been part of this area since the late 1950s. It has serviced many of us throughout the decades and they're still going strong. So when your needs require a hardware store, go to them. They are terrific people and they run a fantastic business. They're in their 6 decade. Doesn't that say enough?

I went to this hardware store to find putty for the small crack in my wall. I love the service and the help I was given and the cost of what I brought , the putty and some more items was under 25 dollars. II will be telling others to shop here.

Great neighborhood hardware store. What they give up in variety(compared to big box stores) they make up for in effort. They are always my first stop whenever I need something.

My recommendation:
Try this place first, then if you can't find it (you'll most likely find it here) try the franchises.

Local shop that has fair prices and quality options.
That, and it took me 15 minutes to get everything I needed.

This is a family owned store, I usually go here before I go to big box Hardware stores because they have everything that you need. Great customer service.
