Grassy Sprain Diner

This diner occupies the space that was a Friendly's restaurant for many years. The menu is what you would expect at any good diner. The staff is friendly and the service is first rate. The prices are reasonable. I have been going there for several years, and I have never been disappointed. I am happy to give them my top rating.

Been to this diner a few times with the family and they never seem to disappoint me. The was is amazing, the serve is great, the place is great, everything is just great. I haven’t have any bad experience yet and I believe I won’t ever have one. My son fell in love with the oreo blast milkshake. Wife had the avocado toast, it was so good that she wanted to order another order but she was too full. Their steak sandwich is juicy. Love this place. Definitely recommend all the families to come give this place a try. I drive from The Bronx just to go eat here.

As good as it gets for a diner. Food is delicious and portions are large. The diner is clean and service is very cordial and prompt. I look forward to returning soon.

Good food. Great service. Hadn't seen the friend I was eating with in a long time and they let us sit on a busy Saturday undisturbed while we visited. Very nice staff.

This old school diner is true to its reputation! We were staying at the hotel next door and ate here everyday of our stay. The service is super warm and inviting. The food was amazing and so was the expresso. They have an amazing variety of dishes for every craving imaginable. If you are in town, this is a must. You are going to love it.

I walked into this diner and they greeted me like I was a long lost family member.

I ordered a bacon and egg sandwich, on a roll to go.

They turned my simple sandwich into a simple pleasure. Though I don't live close by, so I won't come in very often, I hope this review will serve as a reminder that customer service always matters. These folks go above board and beyond.

7/2/2023 we just picked up some burgers, fries, and chocolate egg creams! I have to say these were the best cheeseburgers I've had in ages. We walked out of Gordy's in Bronxville because of the horrible service. Just delicious.

Its an awesome place to go relax and have sometime.
Great service and food at anytime of the day, whether u want breakfast,lunch or dinner. The selection of food is great and the staff are attentive to your needs. Its a great place to go whether ur with ur family or by yourself it always has a good vibe.

Been to Grassy Sprain Diner many times over the past a few years. The service has always been good in my opinion, whether you are eating in store or a pickup. The same for the food, it's always been fresh and tasted delicious. Totally recommend them!

A great place to enjoy breakfast, lunch, brunch or dinner with friends and family or by yourself even.
The place is very nice and they have varieties of food choices.
The price is reasonable and it won't hurt your pockets.
Good meal at a fair price in a comfortable environment, you can't beat that.
Their service is also excellent, the waiters are very generous and welcoming.
I suggest anyone nearby to check this place out.

Great food the staff always pleasant quick service all around.

Late lunch with husband yesterday. Service attentive and friendly. Grilled cheese and egg salad sandwiches and shared plate of French fries - tasty and not too expensive. Do say yes to their coleslaw and pickle - fresh and crisp!

Everything was delicious. Traveling from a far. My very 1st time, everyone was friendly and nice. Once for lunch/dinner and twice for breakfast. Next time I'm in Yonkers I will definitely eat here again.

I absolutely love this diner. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, all great. The best burgers, soups and cheesecake, really anything I've had is wonderful. I live 2 hours away but when I get to Yonkers I eat here.

The food, service and atmosphere was great especially the portion of the meal you ordered is more than enough to fill a person and is highly recommended to go and eat
