We have gone to a couple of boarding Schools this year to compare the Prep Boys soccer teams. AOA faculty are very friendly to newcomers and students. Students are also excited to tell faculty members about their day. There is a feeling a family and togetherness. Even the students welcomed us on the tour. I am glad we chose AOA for our son's education.

Andrews Osborne Academy is a beacon of excellence in education, and we are delighted to share our review, especially for our grandson and granddaughter, who thrive within its vibrant community. This institution embodies a remarkable reflection of the world, fostering an international and diverse student body that celebrates uniqueness and cultivates a rich tapestry of perspectives.

What strikes us most is the palpable sense of inclusivity that permeates through every aspect of AOA. The community not only embraces diversity in ethnicity, culture, and background but also champions a genuine diversity of thought. This environment allows our grandson and granddaughter to explore their passions while engaging with a multitude of perspectives, broadening their horizons beyond the classroom.

The faculty and staff at AOA are exemplary in their commitment to nurturing not just academic growth but also personal development. The dedication they exhibit in providing a holistic education, fostering critical thinking, and encouraging open dialogue is truly commendable. Our grandson and granddaughter have thrived under this guidance, demonstrating a remarkable growth in both academic and interpersonal skills.

Furthermore, the school's emphasis on global citizenship is unparalleled. Through various programs, exchanges, and initiatives, AOA instills in its students a deep appreciation for different cultures and a sense of responsibility towards the world at large. Our grandson and granddaughter have embraced this global perspective, becoming more empathetic and culturally aware individuals.

The vibrant tapestry of extracurricular activities, from arts to athletics, ensures that our grandson and granddaughter have avenues to explore their interests and talents beyond academics. The supportive and nurturing environment encourages them to excel not just academically but in areas that speak to their individual passions.

Overall, Andrews Osborne Academy stands as an exemplary institution that not only educates but also inspires and empowers its students. Our grandson and granddaughter have found a second home here, a place that not only challenges their intellect but also nurtures their spirits. It’s a school that embodies the beauty of diversity and fosters a sense of belonging and understanding—a true gem in the realm of education.

We've been at the school now for almost six years and we have two kids in Lower School. This is a fantastic independent school with international boarders. Exposing our kids to other cultures is important to us as parents and they do a great job interacting with students living in the dorms through their dorm buddies program. The curriculum is wonderful with creative arts embedded deeply into Lower, Middle, and Upper schools. I love all the little free programming opportunities after school for the Lower school kids, like soccer, basketball, baseball, and dance. So the kids can try different activities and sports with little pressure. I also love that lunch is covered as part of the tuition and there are some great options to choose from. The school managed COVID19 with professionalism and safety being top priority. There is a great community feel at the school among families. It's great being able to volunteer with class events and programming for the littles. My kids feel safe there and there is an emphasis on appropriate social behavior and kindness at all ages.

We started our oldest daughter at Andrews Osborne Academy when she entered Pre-School in 2009. At the time, our public schools did not offer all-day, every day pre-school and we were both working parents and needed that. We never anticipated sending our daughters to a private school as we specifically moved to our community since the public schools were so good. Furthermore, I am a public school teacher myself. I know that the public schools are teeming with wonderful, dedicated teachers. Therefore, we planned we would find a school for a year or two and then head back to the public schools. We looked at several other pre-schools and were truly impressed from the moment we walked into the doors of AOA.

The faculty and staff are helpful and knowledgeable, the parents are inviting and welcoming, and the students are happy, bright, and polite. We went from skeptical parents there for a year or two to enthusiastic "lifers" at AOA within the first semester. Now both of our daughters skip into school every day; and as parents we are daily thrilled with their education. The student-to-teacher ratio is top notch. My daughters have never been in a class with more than 16 students. This is something that public schools can simply not afford to do. I know that my children are getting all the help and attention they require to learn to their fullest potential.

The curriculum at AOA is exceptional. From the earliest grades the students have dedicated teachers for art, library, gym, music, and swimming, along with daily Spanish class. There are multiple after school activities as well such as sports, girl scouts, equestrian, Lego club, multi-cultural dance classes and more. Sadly, these are things that are being cut in public schools due to funding issues. I am so happy that our daughters are still able to have these experiences in their education.

I highly recommend AOA to numerous families I encounter every chance I get. I cannot imagine being any more thrilled with the education my children are receiving at AOA. I look forward to many more years of being a part of the AOA community

In my humble opinion, this is the best preparatory school I have seen in the whole wide world. It is multicultural and diverse. Incredible memories and friends to last a lifetime.

Being an educator, I had high expectations for selecting a school for my two sons. After my first visit to Andrews Osborne Academy, I knew this would be a school where my children could enrich their lives personally and academically. Each week at the AOA campus, children are greeted with a smile and a personal welcome. The faculty and staff at AOA know the names of every child and make all students feel safe and nurtured in a challenging learning environment.

From a public speaking curriculum to equestrian opportunities, AOA is extraordinary! The exposure and experience working with international students is also a rare treasure to Lake County and an advantage for students. With wide-ranging opportunities, I highly recommend others to consider this "EDUCATIONAL GEM!" Andrews Osborne Academy is building the next generation of global leaders and promising citizens. If you want to make a worthwhile investment for your children, invest in education! There is nothing more worthwhile than gifting your child a rich educational experience.

My wife and I decided to enroll our daughter at AOA three years ago, removing her from the Mentor Exempted School District. There was nothing wrong with Mentor, but for our daughter it was just too big. This proved to be the right choice for my daughter, as she excelled academically, athletically and socially. Last year she graduated with high honors and a keen interest in chemistry and human biology (fueled by the outstanding faculty). She passed all of her AP exams, was accepted to every college she to which she applied and earned some substantial scholarships. Today she is attending a prestigious out-of-state private university studying pre-pharmacy and she couldn't be happier. Much of her success is owed to AOA and the principles that are endowed on their students. Additionally, she made many international friends (AOA is nearly 50% international in the upper school) that have deeply impacted her perspective of global issues, and the pastoral campus with dormitories has provided a preview of what college life is to be.
