Fuji | Sushi

Fuji Sushi - Elk Grove is my go-to sushi place. The food, staff, and atmosphere are amazing. It's a clean atmosphere and a local favorite. Definitely recommend the Pepper Fin; It's seared tuna with a blend of spicy sauce and jalapeños.. Wish they brought the Chinese food section back, the salt and pepper shrimp, in particular always great. If you love sushi, you will love this place. No complains here

Great place, they just reopened and the service is good!
The people are very polite, respectful and professional.
The food for being a all you can eat option was the best in the Elk Grove Sac area, you can order from the bar and they have a beautiful menu full of different options.
You can try any meal and if fresh and cook to the perfect point.

Please watch out for the lead cook, this guy is amazing. He will remember all your orders and swiftly prepare everything. The waiters, there is plenty of them, will always care for you and provide you with drinks and all sorts of appetizers. Sitting at the bar gives you access to all the wonderful pieces that are floating on cute wooden ships. All in all, the quality of the food is amazing and the prices incredibly affordable. You have an AYCE model that is cheaper for lunch. PS. There is an incredibly tall waiter working there: thank you for your great service and for remembering us.

The food, service and staff are amazing!
We came here at 5:00 sharp on a Monday. Right after we were seated at the bar, all the floating boats were already filled with sushi. The lead chef was friendly. It seems they got many regular customers. We tried many delicious sushi from the floating boats, and there were more options you could order from the menu. The price was pretty good. We’ll come back!

These are the hardest working restaurant owners I have ever met. They serve awesome sushi at a affordable cost for all you can eat they even throw in tempura shrimp and soft shell crab hand rolls. They had a wild ride to survive COVID but they are back better than ever. Fresh and fast. Give them a shot and you won't be disappointed.

Can't say eno5gpod things about this sushi buffet. Been coming here off and on for the past few years and this place maintains its quality, service, and value. If you live in or visit sac and wanna gorge on good sushi this is the place!!!!!

I've never seen a sushi restaurant with boats before! What a cool idea. It's similar to conveyor belt sushi - you grab what you want. It's AYCE so you can grab as much as you can finish. I think it's more convenient to sit at the bar because you have easy access to the belt, and you can easily order from the chefs. Lasty, I loved the quality of the tuna and salmon. This meal was very worth it.

Ordered comboA and it looks awesome and tastes great! All the sushis have a little rice but lots of imitation crab meat inside, so they have rich flavors. Both rainbow rolls and dragon rolls have imitation crab meat and tempura inside, so they tastes a little similar. It might be better if there can be a little more difference between them. The overall experience and food is awesome, will definitely come back again!

Fuji Sushi Buffet is really delicious. Its one of the places in this area that has been around and stayed open for awhile. The food taste fresh and has a good flavor. The ordering process for your food is different and cool so always nice to bring out of town guest. Staff is nice. Oh did I meant there is a line before they open in the evening 🙂. 3💜

Great place to have sushi and sashimi in a buffet all you can est style.

We arrived at 12pm and were seated right away. The place is clean with friendly and helpful staff.

Food is self served directly from the boats or ordered at the counter in the back. We ordered plates of tuna sashimi and they were all fresh. Sushis and soft shell crabs were nice too.

There’s also a small selection of Chinese dishes if you don’t like raw fish.

I have the Elk Grove Fuji Sushi restaurant to be my favorite. The service is always great, 9p2and the fish is fresh. Food at this Fuji is always wonderful. Also, I love their great combination sushi take out options.

AYCE Sushi at a great price , friendly staff, quick service when you place certain rolls to order. Definitely will return again

Absolutely fabulous service & food for over 12 years!!! I left California April 2021 and I haven’t found another place yet, traveling through 10 different states, that can match the well displayed, yummy tasting Japanese/Chinese food. (Cooked for my hubby raw for me) There wonderful staff is friendly and so incredibly helpful but amazingly busy.
COVID took away the buffet. However, they have met the needs of their customers during this crazy time.

Decent price for the food. Runs well and for the price you can't beat it. The service staff are very attentive.

All you can eat sashimy? That alone is well worth it.

We went on the weekend for dinner. Waited for an hour. Price - I think it was close to $20/person + tips. We sat at the bar and that is the best place to sit here because there are "boats" loaded with food flowing along the "river" right in front of you and you can grab whatever you like. Food is fresh - it kind of has to be with the amount of food they serve. The cooks are right at the bar and they make for you custom ordered rolls. You tell them what ingredients you like and they put it together - such a good service. Hope they pay them well.

We have been in Sacramento region for two years and never found a good all you can eat sushi place until a coworker recommended us this place. Very good!

Very very busy. Which means it's good food for a great price. Gets a bit chaotic sometimes but you'll get the hang of it after a few plates of sushi and sides. Go there hungry!!!! Your tummy will thank you.

08/21/2022: According to my timeline, I haven't been here for 3 years. Though there is less seating and no more Chinese food, Fuji Sushi Buffet is still as busy as ever. It is now fully a Japanese menu, with the sushi boats still circling around. However, there is now a line to order rolls and sashimi. Even if you are seated at the sushi bar, you need to get up and stand in the order line for these items. Your server will take your order for food prepared in the kitchen - tempura, hamachi or salmon kamas, teriyaki chicken or salmon, fried oysters, fried soft shell crab, etc.

The food was great. I truly appreciate how fresh the sashimi is. There is high turnover of food, and the sashimi is served ice cold. This is truly a sushi/sashimi lovers' paradise.
