Walnut Grill Washington

We have eaten here twice now. Both times we have had excellent service and the food was delicious! We had the same waitress both times. Her name was Jamie and she is the best! She is so attentive to the needs of her customers. The first time we were there, one of the managers came by to check on us. He was so friendly and we enjoyed chatting with him. His name was Roscoe. That evening there was live music so we stayed a little longer enjoying the music. They have live music most weekends, which is really nice. We will definitely be back for the food, music and great service!

Had a very nice lunch. The food was perfect and the staff was so friendly! I don’t know why I haven’t eaten there more often! Thank you for the wonderful experience!

This location is outstanding. I have eaten at several locations and the Washington pa location is just outstanding. I meet my grand children here for lunch it is a halfway point from either of our homes. Every time the atmosphere is amazing the quality of the food is tremendous and the cleanliness of this location and the customer service is impeccable. I have been in customer service for 50+ years and I understand what it’s all about. The manager of the location always comes out to greet us ask if we need anything and the servers are more polite than I’ve ever encountered. I have visited several locations and they are not courteous clean and the food is not that great. I would drive the hour to go to the Washington Walnut Grill just because it’s warm and welcoming and always top notch.

The wild mushroom chicken was delish! Fork tender, extremely flavorful, almost chicken piccata without the lemon and capers. The mixed vegetables were zucchini and squash and they were cooked a little past where I like them but still very flavorful. Best coleslaw I’ve had! Not sweet! Great crunch to the veg and not overly sauced!

My only complaint would be they had some lighting issues with flickering lights which were rough on the eyes. Need to replace some bulbs or check the electrical.

Last night I dined at the Walnut Grill for a special ambassador event. I was lucky enough to try samples of 4 different cocktails, 4 apps, 4 entrees, and 3 desserts. Let me tell you, I can’t wait to go back and order full size portions of my favorites! For me the stand outs were the pork nachos, the wings, the smash burger, the salmon, the filet and crab cake, and the walnut ball for dessert. I also loved their frojito!

Everything I tasted was absolutely amazing and it was so special hearing from the General Manager, Roscoe, about how each dish was prepared and the way their restaurant is run. They are a scratch kitchen - ordering in their produce and items and chopping everything by hand. You could really tell this in the quality of the food. So yummy!

All the staff were so friendly as well! Roscoe told some good dad jokes while he explained everything. Mallory and Will were the best servers, always checking in on us to make sure we were happy and had water refills throughout the night. Mallory showed us how to make a couple of the drinks and it was so cool to hear!

I absolutely would return to the Walnut Grill in Washington. I want to bring my friends and family to try the amazing food I got to sample last night! I highly recommend visiting this wonderful restaurant!

Had a very pleasant dining experience. The food was delicious, presented well, cold food was cold and hot food was hot. The manager was present and insured all was going well. Jonah our server was helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. We highly recommend the Walnut grill in Washington, PA.

All I can say is WOW - what a fantastic experience. The food was delicious, and the drinks were even better. Erica’s Frojito was one of the best cocktails I’ve had in a while. We got the pulled pork nachos as an appetizer and they were SO good, the pulled pork was so moist. For an entree we got the cheeseburger and the steak/crab cake… not sure which one I liked better, they were both great. Then came dessert. I may or may not have had 2 servicing of the caramel and walnut crusted ice cream because it was so delicious! I can’t wait go back!

An overall impressive dining experience! The food was quite good. The steak was cooked perfectly which we don’t usually find in chain restaurants. Rare was truly rare! Will was very pleasant and entertaining. We will be back. Don’t underestimate it! They may have had their ups & downs in the past but they really have it together now!

I had a very lovely experience at Walnut Grill in Washington. When walking in I was greeted by will who brought me to my table and got us refreshments. The staff was amazing very attentive and helpful. Not to mention the sweetest. Malory brought us our food and went above and beyond to accommodate everyone and everything that was needed for the table. Then the GM greeted us and talked about the dishes we were eating and why they were different and special. I will be 100% returning to dine in at this location. This cozy restaurant has left the best impressions! Hospitable hosts, delicious food, beautiful presentation, fabulous customer interaction and wonderful dessert. The management is also top notch! I recommend to anyone and everyone that comes to the Washington, PA area. I will be coming back again!

Stopped for the first time on our way from Pburgh to Morgantown. It was amazing! Friendly staff. Great food. They even had live music! We’ll def be back!

I ate here on Thursday night and it was the first time I’ve ever tried the walnut grill. I had Maddi as my server and she was absolutely amazing the entire meal. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for my first experience here. I will 100% be back again, and thank you so much for making me feel right at home with the amazing service.

Went in for a late lunch/early dinner. Not very busy, but our waitress was very nice and let us take our time. Their cocktails were delicious 👍🏻. And the buffalo chicken dip was really good, not overly spicy, but had a little kick to it.
Food was really good, came out in a timely manner, but gave us enough time to finish our appetizer.
The caramel cheesecake is to die for, literally. Will definitely be coming back for drinks and another slice of that cheesecake.

Went to Walnut Grill for the first time and it truly was a remarkable experience. So good in fact that I sent my Mom a photo(!!) and she insisted I bring her next time.

I was beyond impressed and grateful for our servers/bartenders Will and Malory. They went above and beyond, and even made me my own mocktails so I definitely appreciated that.

For my meal, I was a HUGE fan of the ranch dry rub & sweet chili bone in wings, and the filet mignon paired with jumbo lump crab cake. I’m a dessert girl for sure, so the crème brûlée was the perfect way to end the evening. 10/10 will be coming back!

Food, atmosphere, and service makes a great restaurant. You have it all here.Under new management with a new chef and unbelievable portions.

Plenty of choices for lunch to dinner. Try happy hour specials, food and drinks a bargain. Excellent service clean family friendly. Ordered the steak and salmon and fried Brussels. Chief Ramsey would be jealous.

We had a group of six and everyone had a different dish. Also had four appetizers. Everything was excellent. Personally, I had the beer batter cod which was moist and tender. The breading was thin and light. Excellent flavor.
Our waitress answered all our questions and put forth extra effort to meet everyone’s needs. The wait staff who helped deliver our meals were professional and courteous. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Experienced with my family, and we all enjoyed the food. The wait time for the food was quite lengthy, but the food was hot upon arrival. The waitress was very nice and attentive throughout our dining experience. I would definitely return to eat again. I recommend the restaurant.

So my wife and I went to lunch and the service was splendid, bar has a very nice selection, friendly staff. My wife had French toast and it was to die for!!! I had the mix meat and wasn't the most impressed, steak and chicken were over cooked and salmon was charcoal on the bottom. I'll be going back to sample other menu items but that was our first trip to a promising restaurant. The Walnut Grill should be having live music in April so I'm looking forward to that as well

We had such a delicious dinner and experience at Walnut Grill this week!! Our servers/bartenders Will and Malory were knowledgeable, great at explaining the drinks/dishes, and making sure they paired well. My favorites were the ahi tuna appetizer, the Smash Burger, and the Erica’s Famous Frojito! I can’t wait to come back and check out more of the menu.
