Rainbow Children's Academy

We were referred by a friend who had both his daughters attending RCA. We toured the facility back in early 2023 and was impressed by the friendly staff and happy children there, so we signed up 1 year ahead of our actual attending date.
My daughter started going to Rainbow in January 2024. She used to be shy and afraid of strangers and unfamiliar environment. But after several days at RCA, she got used to it quickly and started liking it. She was always happy when we told her that we are sending her to daycare. I think my daughter is taken care of very well by the teachers (Sarah, Emma and several others) at RCA. Strongly recommend.

I cannot recommend Rainbow Children's Academy enough. The staff truly goes above and beyond to ensure that each child receives individualized attention and care. The teachers are not only knowledgeable and skilled in their profession, but they are also compassionate and nurturing towards the children. My daughter have thrived under their guidance and have developed a love for learning. Additionally, the cultural events hosted by Ms. Denise and Ms. Chen have been a wonderful addition to the curriculum, providing a well-rounded education for the children. Even after just 4 months, I have seen a significant improvement in my daughter's development. I am grateful for the positive impact that Rainbow Children's Academy has had on my family and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a quality childcare experience.

My kid love going to school everyday , Ms Emma and Ms Sarah are warm and patient as his leading teachers , and other floating teachers and academy staff are professional. My kid runs to classroom everyday, sometimes even forgot saying goodbye to me . As a mom you can reassure to send your kids here while you are working . The school also holds many activities for kids as well for parents , I’m highly recommend this school to Moms who are still looking for daycare.

My son started his pre-school here when he was 3.5 years old. He really enjoyed his time here. The teach-student ratio is really good that each kid gets enough attention from teacher. Teachers send daily report which include the nap time, meals and snacks, things they do/learn, and fun photos from the classroom, very detailed! Each classroom has its own style and decorated with caring and fun. They celebrate every holiday that give kids senses what each holiday means to our life. Daily routine/class is very organized that they play but learn at the same time! My son was in pre kindergarten when he was 4.5 years old. The phonic class really helps him learn English! We love the bi-lingual environment that he can continue speaking Mandarin and picks up English very quickly. Owner/Director is very responsive and supportive to parents needs! Very responsible! Highly recommend for parents who is searching for high quality Mandarin-English bi-lingual school.

The RCA is not just a child care provider, its professional team can fully cover the stage from little kids to school aged kids’ education. Our kid has attended several other day care centers. We finally find the RCA is exactly what we need. A safe, warmhearted, comfortable place for our kid to start his life journey.

The school class rooms are well organized, cultural and seasonal decorated. Each class has a Chinese teacher and an English teacher, that makes the children feel comfortable to learn both languages. No matter your children's mother tongue is Chinese or English, they will easily find the go-to teacher shortly. The teachers are not only nice and sweet, but more importantly, they are very professional! From the first sight to the children in the morning till the end of the day, they are the best models for the children to learn behavior and social skills in every detail. The launch and snacks are well picked considering Chinese and western appetites.

We use to have concern before enrolling RCA since our kid was energetic and stubborn. Now he has been in PS2 class for more than three months. We can see he made great progress in many aspects. There are fully scheduled activities during the day. Ms. Denise and Ms. Chen must have their magics to make their class happy and busy all day long. Their many creative activities always make the kids have various fun in learning.

The most impressively, the school-like RCA has well TAILORED curriculum in BOTH languages. They even have curriculum night just as same as that in schools to help parents understand the full year learning plan. The parents will feel comfortable and confident to send their children to RCA.

While seasonal holiday coming, most parents may need some efforts to present their appreciation to teachers' great effort. In order to maintain a fair and professional learning environment, the RCA teacher and staff only accept thank-you letters instead of any kind of gifts. That makes RCA as a respectful model in the industry.

Sincerely saying that the RCA is very unique and outstanding. The principal, director, the teachers and every staff are detail-drivened taking care of our kid. The RCA is the best place to go if you are looking for a Chinese-English bilingual preschool for your lovely children.

My son has been going to RCA since he was 15 month-old and we really appreciate the support and service that the school has offered. The teachers are amazing!! We have been through two lead teachers for two classrooms so far. Ms. Guo made the transition to daycare life so smoothly that we barely had any crying. Ms.Illia is passionate and loving and my son liked her since he joined her classroom. Also, we had Ms.Sara as the assistant teacher for both classrooms and she is caring and warm. Besides the teacher, school communication has been transparent and clear with multiple channels. We would highly recommended RCA!

My child has been staying in RCA for 3 months. He couldn't be happier to be with Ms Illia and Ms Cindy. They are such passionate, patient, caring and responsible teachers, and they have been making me feel comfortable being away from him while at work and for caring for him beyond my expectations while I'm away. I'm deeply grateful to have someone like them contributing to my child's growth and emotional well-being. They have made my son first year of school so memorable by creating a nurturing environment for young minds to grow. We are so thrilled that he has had them.

My son went to his previous daycare for a few weeks and he was so traumatized. He refused to drink any milk, he ate very little and he cried all day long. I noticed the teachers and principles over there are so careless and show no love to the students at all so we decided to leave. I was referred by my friends to Rainbow Childern's Academy and we fell in love with the daycare the day we toured. I have toured so many daycares and preschools and this is indeed the most lovable and joyful daycare that I've ever seen.
The principle Mary Ma is so professional and responsible. In order to help my son get over his previous traumatized daycare experience and getting used to the daycare life and routine, she asked Ms Sarah to be around with him all the time for the first week. Whenever my son feels insecure or needs a hug, Ms Sarah is there for him. This really helps my son getting familiar with the daycare so quickly and at the 2nd week, he's able to smile and say goodbye to us and happily walks into his classroom. Now it has been a few months, my son is soooo happy everyday, he can't wait to go to the daycare every morning. Ms Illia, Ms Emma and Ms Sarah are the most passionate and lovable teachers!!

Worked here teaching English as an assistant teacher for a few months in 2023 and loved it! The families, students, and administration are amazing, and their program is flexible for all different types of learners. If you would like for your child to have an immersive experience learning Mandarin and/or English, I highly recommend this daycare academy! Every day, we had classes, singing, crafts, and diverse activities for each age group- I was surprised at the progress many of my students made in the 4 months I worked with them 😊. This site is small and cozy, and all of the families are able to get to know their classes well, and the students are able to make connections and friends easily too.

My daughter has had a very good experience at Rainbow Children’s Academy, and I've got to give a massive shout-out to the real MVPs, Ms. Sandy and Ms. Li. These two teachers are like magic-makers for my daughter. Their caring and friendly vibes are the secret sauce that made her feel right at home from day one. You know your kid's in good hands when you've got teachers as trustworthy as these two. Rainbow Children's Academy is lucky to have such gems on their team. What I love most about RCA are the teachers and the bilingual environment! My son joined PS2 for over one month now, and he made great progress during this period. He acquires many practical life skills and becomes more independent. He even taught me some useful tricks he learned from school which are amazing. I never thought a little kid at this age could write. However, what he enjoys doing these days are grabbing pencil writing numbers or coloring pictures using water color and paint brush. Kids are offered plenty of opportunities practicing their fine motor skills through well-planed school activities.

Ms. Denise and Ms. Chen are so kind and responsible. They are patient, experienced and dedicated, putting a lot of time and effort in teaching, providing the students a wonderful bilingual environment. Recently, my son can speak so eloquently that his words could form a good essay sometimes. He likes to recite English stories and Tang poetries - the essence of Chinese culture. I’m so glad that we can find a place in the US where my kid has this immersive experience learning both English and Chinese. Highly recommended to Chinese families as the first school for their kids or those who are passionate about Chinese culture!

The teachers are nice (eg Ms. Sandy, Ms.Li, Ms.Wang), and the owner is friendly and reasonable. My hard-to-deal-with :) daughter improved a lot since going to the RCA (eg eat/dress by herself, become less shy with strangers, etc). Overall, considering all kinds of factors (Chinese bilingual, schedule, tuition fee, location, etc), it's a good choice if you are looking for a Chinese bilingual preschool in downtown Bellevue.

RCA is a great place for kids. My son is thriving in T2 at Ms. Sandy's class. Initially, adjusting to the new environment was challenging, but with the patient assistance of Ms. Sandy and Ms. Li, he has seamlessly transitioned and now happily embraces daycare life.

RCA has been a great school for our children.
First, the teachers are passionate to teach. They spend a lot of time and effort to prepare for the lessons and activities. They show a lot of patience and care to the children. The teachers are communicative and responsive. We can talk to them in person, by phone, or reach them via email. They always provide a very prompt response.
Second, the school has a well-designed and rigorous curriculum to teach English, Math, and Chinese. Our two children who graduated from RCA were well equipped academically for Kindergarten. RCA is one of the few schools that teach pinyin at a young age. Our children were fluent in Mandarin upon graduation at RCA. We highly recommend RCA to those who are looking for a bilingual education for their children.
Third, the school organizes fun activities throughout the year, which includes Halloween trick or treat, Easter Egg Hunt, Mother's Day Tea Party, Father's Day Tea Party, and Summer Performance. These activities are well planned and well executed. The school and the teachers put in a lot of time and effort to make these events happen.
Lastly, RCA is a clean and safe environment where we feel comfortable to send our children to.

Things I love the most about RCA: 1. Great curriculum. My toddler is doing creative artwork everyday. 2. Very caring teachers. 3. Healthier lunch menu than most of the local schools. 4. Safe, clean and age-appropriate facilities. Clear separation of classrooms and no sharing hallway ensure kids won’t run into bigger kids. They have mini sized but legit toilets which you’ll never find in a family care.

We have been having great experience with RCA since my son joined in February. Ms Guo and Ms Sara are amazing! They are very responsible, patient, caring, friendly and attentive to the kids. My son really likes them. Ms Mary is very easygoing and always answers my questions patiently and clearly. The school offers a variety of activities and events like summer performance, Mother’s and Father’s Day tea party, etc, which makes it so much fun for the kids. I highly recommend RCA to any parent looking for a high quality child caregiver.

RCA is the best place for your kids in Bellevue. Mary and the teachers are very helpful, supportive and they love your kids. They inspire hope, ignite the imagination, and instill a love of learning! I appreciate the way in which all teachers helped my kids to learn and develop a keen liking for each subject. I also thank you for encouraging my kids to conquer their fear and try new things. Thank you for all the work you have done and being a part of my kids' growth.

My son has been with RCA for a year now and he absolutely loves the school! The school provides a great bilingual learning environment and teachers are warm, responsible and caring. There are also many fun activities to celebrate festivals and holidays, and I think the school does a great job at ensuring that every child receives the care and support they need to strive.

When it comes to daycare, the most significant factor for us is the people involved. Our daughter formed strong attachments to every teacher she interacted with: Illia, Sandy, Sara, Mary, Emma, and Ms. Guo. She has expressed her affection for them on multiple occasions, making it clear that she likes and loves them. We are genuinely impressed by their love for children, strong sense of responsibility, patience, and attention to detail. After each school day, our daughter was consistently happy, and she eagerly tried her best, with a limited vocabulary and memory, shared what she learned from and about her teachers, her interactions with classmates, and even about the classmates' parents.

Illia and Sara, in particular, stood out for their engaging presence and our daughter's high regard of them. Illia took the time to have conversations with us during drop-off and pick-up, and she was consistently responsive to our emails. Our daughter truly admires Illia's enthusiasm. Sara's caring is always so thoughtful that our daughter showed attachment to her on literally her first school day.

Principle Wang and Head Ma have demonstrated remarkable insights into early education. They closely monitor each child's development and promptly make necessary adjustments. We were deeply impressed by Ms. Ma's extensive knowledge of our daughter's habits and her mental development, paying attention to even the smallest details.
