One of the worst cemeteries I've ever visited. There is trash everywhere, homeless people seem to be living in it, many of the graves have been vandalized and are missing headstones. Many headstones are leaning over due to neglect and from the ground shifting. Many of the burials seem to be from the 1920s to the 1940s, but it looks like no one has been buried in this place since the 1960s, and I didn't see hardly any flowers or signs of recent visitors. There are quite a few headstones that are just simple cement and the names of the deceased written in it with a stick, so it must have supported a poor community back in the day.
There are quite a few "family plots" with fences around them, but most are rusty and have fallen down, or been vandalized. I can't image the people who are buried here would ever imagine that their resting place would look like this in just 100 years, and that all their descendants would let the place fall to ruin like they have.
I come from Michigan, where my family cemetery at least, is very well maintained, so this is a shock for me. Doesn't the local community here care? It's really a shame, and an embarassment.
