Found the grave of my great grandfather Antonio Rocha. As an immigrant from the Azores in the early 1880’s, he was a contractor who built many homes which still exist today. His personal home remains on Lusitania St in the west slope of Punchbowl.

It's closed to the public with private property and no trespassing signs on a Sunday. Oct. 1st 2023. Not sure if that's permanent. Came 2,500-miles to see an ancestor and can't find any information as to why it's closed and the diocese is closed on Sundays/voicemail box is full. Feels pretty broken to be disallowed entry to pay respects to your ancestors.
