The staff is always friendly and supportive. At my last visit they went above and beyond when I had a non-dental medical issue while in the office. They took such good care of me, including a wheelchair ride to the car! Amazing professionals and just very good people.

Mary Jane was the best! She was so careful and gentle while cleaning my teeth. Honestly the best experience I have ever had.

Very pleasant, competent service. Dr. Bono and hygienist Shanice are extremely friendly and professional. If I had any concerns about my dental issues, they were always resolved in a courteous manner. Highly recommend.

The procedure that was done yesterday was the best for me. At first I had such a bad experience long time ago. So I didn't like going to the dentist at all,unless in an emergency and have no choice then I will go to the dentist. But Dr. Chang made it so comfortable and safe for me. Talking me through the procedure made it easier . Then the second procedure was so humble as much. Though I had a tooth extraction and cleaning,it wasn't so bad at all.

One of the most friendly dentists offices I’ve been to. Also very realistic about what you need and they don’t just try to get you to do as much as they can bill you for. I’ll definitely be using them as long as I’m here.

The entire staff is awesome here at HFD. The Dos's take care and are conscious of your comfort. The dentist is the last place on my things to do list, and everyday it goes down the list further :) Have no fear, HFD is here

I have been going to Hawaii family dental for years now. Everyone is helpful and makes you feel at home. Laura has been my hygienist and is always very thorough and honest. She explains what she is doing when cleaning! Thank you for everything and even our family and life talks!

X Ray Technician was efficient and polite.The woman with an East Coast accent who cleaned my teeth gently and was very professional too. 5 stars to both employees.

I finally switched from my Kaneohe dentist years after moving to Waikiki. The parking is convenient and free, the office is large and clean, and the staff is really friendly and professional. I'm going to be happy with my new dental team!

I feel welcomed and well attended at Hawai'i Family Dental. The receptionists greet me, are thorough, and answer all of my questions. The hygienist was amazingly gentle and informative for my cleaning. And the dentist was completely thorough and gave me many options for my treatment plan. Clean office, relaxing ambience.

I really enjoy coming here! They have been my dentist since 2018 and I don't need look elsewhere. Laura is an awesome hygienist!

From check-in to check-out, I had a great experience at this office. The front staff was very friendly and efficient with the whole process.
So I recently had a dental emergency and Dr Bono and her assistant Cedric were able to see me right away and they literally saved my smile. At the end of the appointment, Dr. Bono referred me to the oral surgeon. I was nervous but Dr Sterling and his assistants Dee and Cat made sure I understood what was going to happen during and after the surgery so by the end of it I was calm and assured of what to expect. Over five years using this great dental office and my review remains 5 star: Best dental services. My dental technician, Jane, is very thorough and caring. I am most impressed with the service, professionalism, on-time appointments and good nature of the entire staff from dentist to dental technician to receptionist to billing. I am also impressed with the billing department that always looks out for my best interest. Thank you all for putting a nicer smile on my face with every visit.
