Cafe Morey’s

Love this spot. Can't beat the location, interior is beautiful, staff are all very kind and the food is amazing. My sister came here a year ago and had been raving about their pancakes ever since, to which I can now attest- they're perfection, truly the best I've had. I got the banana mac nut pancakes with coconut cream and they were SO GOOD. So much flavor, texture was perfect, the gold standard of what a pancake could be. They're pretty rich, so my advice would be to have these later in the day if you're like me and couldn't handle them first thing in the morning.

The Lilikoi Pineapple Pancakes were amazing! The custard was not too sweet. The pineapple perfectly ripe and the pancakes were fluffy while having a nice homemade taste. I generally prefer savory breakfasts but I would go back to eat pancakes at Morey’s!

This place was so cute and so tasty! Everything we had was delicious. The Portuguese sausage was perfectly fried. The lilikoi cream pancakes were so freaking good that I want to learn how to make them. Their iced coffee was amazing too.

The service was fast and friendly, and the whole vibe was very bright and colorful. The windows were all open, and little birds kept popping into the windows and sometimes into the restaurant. It was a lovely experience, and I highly recommend this place :)

Took a little while to be acknowledged to get seated and service was a bit slow but overall I had an amazing breakfast here!! I got the Makie Special and it was a perfect sampler and had everything I wanted to add to my fried rice. One of the absolute best garlic shrimp fried rice I've had!!

Was looking for breakfast away from the regular tourist traps and crowds and stumbled on Morey's. Best breakfast so far on my visit to the island. Fried rice with an egg on top and portagese sausage !! Amazing !! Will not be disappointed if you go. Highly recommend this gem.

The food is DELICIOUS! We had: Eggs Benedict and BBQ Short Ribs, Eggs Benedict and Portuguese Sausage, Haupia Cream and Mac Nut Pancakes, and Lilikoi Cream and Pineapple Pancakes. It was all yum yum yummy, especially the Haupia cream! The drinks we tried were the Island Mimosa, Island Margarita, and Lemonade. The staff were friendly and provided excellent customer service. Whether you like your brunch savory or sweet, I highly recommend giving this place a visit.

A few things worth noting: they have very limited parking. Be prepared to search for street side parking and walk a little. It is a small space with a wait list. Our wait wasn’t long and totally worth it. They do not take reservations, which we appreciate because we just decided on a whim to go have brunch. They do have a clean restroom for customers.

Needed a coffee before diamond head and the ones they make here are very good. Really refreshing and gives a good wake up kick! Their salmon avocado sandwich was delicious as well!

Off the beaten trail of Waikiki Beach, found parking and got a table easily. Our hostess and servers were so friendly to us and our baby. Pancakes were incredible. Recommend the fried rice

I live about a 3 minute walk from here. If I could afford to eat out often I'd be here multiple times a week. Their food is great, service is great, and the atmosphere is awesome. I love the open air no AC relaxed vibe.
So far I haven't been disappointed with anything I've ordered. The Fried rice is bomb, and I just had the basil lemonade and that was so good. Please keep your lemonade sour! My gf doesn't care for it so sour, but it's what I absolutely love about it!

Had a delicious breakfast here today and ordered the Island Mimosa, the strawberry banana French toast and the lilikoi and pineapple pancakes. Everything was fantastic! The vibe is also special with brightly coloured walls and deco, open air windows and lil birds flying around. Highly recommend and I will definitely be back!

Got here right at open, awesome staff, atmosphere amazing. Definitely recommend stopping here while you're on the island!

Really great food and service! My favorite is the iced caramel latte and banana mac nut french toast but also really great savory options such as the eggs benedict! Can get a bit busy but once seated served right away, also very aesthetic!

I went to Hawaii this past May (2023) and my boyfriend and I went to this cafe almost every day. Every morning, we would walk a 15 minute walk from our hotel in the Waikiki beach area to grab a bite. It was an amazing place with amazing food.
1. The food was delicious and so filling.
2. The cafe was so fun and cute and very open and colorful.
3. There were birds that would fly in and out to try and eat our food (despite the workers telling customers not to feed them). I don’t know if that’s an issue to you, but for my boyfriend and I, we enjoyed the birds as company haha.
4. They were never packed such that they couldn’t attend to you.

6. Overall great atmosphere and great cafe and great food.

The stuff is easy and very friendly (can speak Japanese as well if needed).

We were on vacation in Hawaii and were searching for a breakfast spot. We saw this place while driving back to Aina Haina and gave it a shot. The food, atmosphere, and service were excellent. I added a picture of my order. Being from Florida, I'm not used to this combination for breakfast, but it was delicious. My wife ordered a pancake dish with glazed bananas that was a sweet treat. For entertainment, a bird stole some of my rice. I guess he was tired of waiting for me to make an offer. 😅

What a charming little cafe! We loved how colorful it was and the staff were so friendly. And omg the lilikoi pineapple pancakes. They were out of this world!! Like best pancakes I have ever had, seriously. Super creamy and the perfect amount of sweetness. The pineapple was so fresh. The waiter warned us about the flavor combo of bbq chicken and eggs Benedict and I think separately they would have been amazing. So all great quality food. Also the Caesar salad was delish. 1000% recommend!!

It's a nice place to grab breakfast. Must go early before crowds. There are plenty of open windows.

This is the ideal place to have breakfast in Honolulu. Relaxing, bright, and real friendly.
Then there's the food. I highly recommend the smoked salmon benedict, or Morey's fried rice with an egg, or the short ribs plate. All of it is just great.
If I lived there, I be a regular.
