Elvin's Bakery

Elvin’s Bakery is my favorite bakery in town. I love everything here, especially their cakes. They have a variety of cakes to choose from. Whenever I need a cake for special occasion like birthday, anniversary or retirement, I always get my cake from Elvin’s. They also sell other pastries besides cakes.

I went in the afternoon and was looking for a small cake. There were only larger round cakes and about 8 different types of sliced cakes. I know you have to go early to get the freshest cakes, but I simply didn’t have the time that day. However the slices were just right to try a few and they were delicious and very fresh. Next time I’ll call ahead for a fresh small cake and I do recommend slices to try the different flavors of cakes!

Mooncakes are in! Locally made at the bakery. Delicious. You can buy them with or without egg yolks. Buy four and get a gift box to put them in. You can mix and match flavors (Lotus Paste, Red Bean, Mixed Nuts and Ham, Squash, Mung Bean, and Coconut). Available only till the end of September!

Delicious assortment of cakes and bread rolls. We tried the an, coconut cream, spam and egg rolls as well as the lychee mousse cake. The rolls are lightly sweet and fluffy and go perfectly with whichever filling you choose, whether savory or sweet. The lychee mousse is delicately flavored and I could have eaten a whole cake! During the month leading up to the mid-autumn festival, they offer an assortment of moon cakes. We tried the lotus paste with one yolk and coconut. Both are delicious with a cup of tea.

Best cake I can find on the island. The taste and level of sweetness is perfect for me. I buy their cake for everyone’s birthday celebration every year.

Closed on Mondays but I called to see if anyone would answer, and someone did! So I place an order for an 8” strawberry shortcake cake, told them the writing for the cake and when I’d like to pick up.

I picked up the next morning at 0930. Their shelves were filled with baked breads and goods.

The strawberry shortcake cake was super delicious, the “cake” and whipped topping was super light and not overly sweet.

The ohana definitely enjoyed this cake!

They have the best moon cakes. They also make delicious bread and other type of cakes. Very friendly owners. They stepped out to help me to choose the moon cakes. However, moon cakes are seasonal. They have opened since 2003. It's a shame that I just discovered them now.

Purchased the strawberry shortcake that my father loves. Price is reasonable and the cake is so beautifully decorated

I love this bakery and I consistently come here to get cakes for all my special people multiple times every year for the past several years.

Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish! They called when it was getting near closing time & I hadn't picked up my cake... then they graciously stayed until I made it through traffic to get my son's birthday cake (which was absolutely delicious).

Thank you, Elvin's! Stopped by this morning for cakes, not realizing that it was Monday when they're closed. The owner happened to be in the parking lot, and she opened up the shop so that I could make a purchase. We've always loved their fine pastries and cakes. Sure, it was a sale for them...but to go the extra mile for one customer, on their day off... I'm impressed and thankful.

There cakes are light, not to sweet and delicious. I recommend the mango mousse cake

We loved everything we tried here! Sausage buns, ham and cheese croissants, cinnamon twist, cream puff, danish, and blueberry cream cheese scone. Best scone ever!! Good coffee, too. Everything is packaged beautifully. The displays make you want to try it all! Go get you some. 😍

Ordered 2 full sheet cakes for my grand daughter's 1st b-day. One red velvet and one strawberry shortcake. They were gone by the end of the night despite the many other sweets and desserts that were served. Definitely 5 stars.

Friendly staff, yummy pastries that won't make you feel guilty and heavy. Both sweet and savory items. And their cakes are delicious, unique and pleasantly light. Our family's favorite bakery.

A hidden gem and my go to for cakes in town. I recommend trying their strawberry short cake and mango mousse cake. Both of these cakes are are light tasting with a whipped cream frosting. They also offer a variety of pastries and other baked goods. I have yet to be disappointed by any of their offerings.

I order a birthday cake from Elvin once a month. They serve the best cakes in Hawaii. The owner is very nice and very easy to talk to. I hardly give out 5 stars in my reviews. But I have to do it for Elvin.

I love the selection of cakes and the flavors are great! It's not too sweet and love the decor on the cake. One of the flavor to try is the Mango cake. I Suggest you pre order for your cake! Great and friendly staff!
