H Mart Kaka'ako

Shelves are very well stocked and neat. Selection is great too. Parking could be challenging at times. Big plus is the food hall on 2nd floor - especially Giovanni’s shrimp - don’t have to deal with the flies and there a restroom to wash your hands when your done eating 😉

First of all the parking location was no problem in such a high traffic area. The store is very clean and organized. They had so many different kinds of Asian food products it was just so amazing! Their fresh seafood department had me drilling from my mouth. They also had some prepared meats that were ready to take home and cook. The second floor consisted of a different eatery with a dining area. They even validated my parking ticket at the checkout. I had a pleasant experience at the Kakaako H+Mart and gave them a thumbs-up.

The food is very fresh and there are some foods on sale sometimes, so it's very good. There are many kinds such as side dishes and bread, so I recommend this mart.

They closed the front door and made a rare back door to be the only entrance. Odd but manageable. It was hard to find the entrances when we first visited.

Hmart is hands down my favorite food/grocery store in town o pretty much anywhere else in Hawaii. The produce is way better than the other grocery stores in town... not to mention better prices! I absolutely love their small seafood too. They have a small selection of kitchen ware, and bath and beauty stuff, and a little bit of everything. There is even an awesome foodcourt on the second floor. I tend to get a little lost in there:) Last time I was in there the woman who helped me was so sweet and helpful. It is amazing how good it can make you feel when someone is genuinely happy to help you find what you are looking for!

This is an amazing grocery store. It has just about everything and anything you could possibly need and want. I found some of my favorite drinks that I had a hard time finding that I used to have to go to Walmart for - I hate going to Walmart! I took pictures of 2 things I bought as (1 as a package combo) and this was big enough to feed me for 6 meals! Maybe someone else 4 meals lolz 💜. It also has a food court on the 2nd floor, I did not get a chance to check ✔ it out, when I do, I will update with photos 😊. Current photos are before and after pictures of the grocery items, yummy 😋!!!

Wow. I was used to shopping at another Korean Store but this one has way more time to choose from. The store is clean and the employees are helpful. Awesome place to browse and shop. Update: 11/30/2023 Finally had a chance to eat the Kimchi, all I can say is WOW. This is the best, stinkiest and most flavorarable I have ever had and I've eaten allot in my life .

The parking to HMart is off Pohukaina street in a building marked as 440 Keawe street. Only the bottom floor is for HMart and there are signs for all stalls assigned to them. However you can also park in the Visitor stalls but I wouldn't stay in those too long just in case.

Price is 30 min free and 1 hour with validation. After that it's a 1 dollar an hour.

You can get validation without a purchase- to validate your ticket there is a machine right at the exit of HMart.

HMart itself is pretty nice and has all kinds of asian good although there is more Korean stuff than anything else.

Anything from fresh produce to can drinks to live seafood and housewares is available for reasonable prices.

This time around I got some of their Korean sushi and a drink (you must pay before taking upstairs) then went upstairs to their food court.

There is a good selection of restaurants upstairs to include Leftwing, Sadies, Black Sheep Creamery, Giovanni's as well as a bar station, ramen and tea place.

Overall it's a fun visit and good place to get some good food.

Absolutely incredible space! The main grocery store is stocked full of options and the second floor is an amazing Food Hall with delicious options, like: Giovanni’s Shrimp Truck, Aloha Aina Café, Left Wing Chicken, Natsu Boshi, Black Sheep Cream and Busan Noodle Bar.

I will buy the enoki mushrooms because only $1.79! And they have many Taiwan food and ingredients, if you need asian ingredients you can try here.

New food hall, a lot of food that you can find here. Tap beer, Coffee, hamburger, and famous scampi Giovanni's. Clean and tables with social distance.

Finally visited this place! I did some research beforehand and we parked in the building Ewa of Hmart. There’s designated parking with signs for Hmart customers! The first hour is free WITH VALIDATION. Alternative parking is metered street and Salt at Kakaako.

The first floor is the grocery store.

The second floor is the food court, via elevator and stairs. Covid vaccination record in effect, otherwise you have 15 minutes for take out.

This trip I ordered from Teasket and Toasket! I got the Galbi Burger Toast (they offer singe and double patty) which was really good. I like the slaw, but it did overpower the flavor of the burger meat. It was a sweet dish, since the bread is toasted sweet bread. I also got their Island Mint Latte - also really good! Reminded me of the mint mojito from Phillz Coffee!

My friend got the Honey Garlic chicken with side white rice, from Left Wing - she said it was really good!

Overall a good first time experience at Hmart! We did go at about 11am on a Tuesday, so it wasn’t too busy!

Korean supermarket; no crying! They usually have at least a few really good deals on produce. There is also a food court on the 2nd floor.

A great deal of interesting South Korean and other groceries you cannot find in other supermarkets. Great if you are interested in those types of groceries or what to try something different. A little bit on the pricy side.

We visited H Mart 3 times during our 3 days trip in Honolulu. The ladies love this store.

H Mart is more than just a Korean goods store. While Korean groceries are their specialty, there are a lot of other Asian inspired groceries. The freah meats are also very good quality. You'll find the right type of meat for BBQs, Yakiniku, and Shabu Shabu.

The other thing I like about this store is the food court on the second floor. I had no idea this was there until my coworkers had mentioned it to me. There is a wide array of food here. Also the world famous garlic shrimp from the North Shore has a shop here in town without having to make the drive.

Forget the store. It's a typical Asian supermarket... but if you walk through to the back, and up some secret stairs there's an awesome food court! Beer and ice cream! And other awesome snacks!

Found variety of healthy Korean food items. Good supermarket.

We had Sadie’s BBQ plate lunch at the food court. Very good but I wish they had different options of food outlets.
