My wife and I are from Florida and just had an amazing evening at the Herringbone. I had
this one of a kind banded snapper that was steamed in Chinese sauces and vegetables along with the side of octopus. It was absolutely amazing, like nothing I’d ever had before. My wife is a vegetarian and she ate a lot of it. She also had the trumpet mushroom risotto. Dessert was excellent, fine wine selection, beautiful outdoor space. Everybody was so incredibly friendly and welcoming. We really loved this place and hope to return soon. I would give the
Herringbone our highest recommendation and praise. Mahalo Ron and Laura Tulin

We were alone in the restaurant, the waiter was silly/confused but it was an enjoyable experience. I recommend the mentaiko pasta, it was out of this world (a bit too expensive tho, not worth the 50$ price, but its Hawaii). The desserts are nothing special, I suggest going to a patisserie later.

The not so hidden Gem, but so so goood.
We bounced by a few places before settling on Herringbone and it didn’t disappoint.

The perfect balance between fine dining and casual we were blown away by the food.
We went for all 3 of the recommendations our server Chad gave to us and he was on point with all 3. After his 2 recommendations of appies (Octopus and Tuna tataki) we gave him full reign on the main and god damnnnn.
Plus we hit a little late night happy hour - wagyu hot stone and good cheap cocktails 🤌

Super impressed by the food and not only Chad but the rest of the team too. Highly recommended!

Fantastic food, great service, beautiful decor, and a fantastic happy hour menu. Interesting drinks, the $3 oysters, and the discounted Brussels sprouts make this a fantastic happy hour destination! Legitimately delicious food. Went here twice and enjoyed it both times. Located on the 3rd floor of the International Mall, and worth a visit!

I ordered the Black Cod marinated in yuzu & soy with black rice pilaf in a carrot/ginger reduction. Hubby had the crab cake (plain) with fries (plain).

Black cod is a favorite fish of mine. Cooked well and the yuzu/soy marinade complimented the fish really well. I was not a fan of the black rice pilaf w/carrot & ginger reduction. The taste oddly reminded me of cooked red cabbage.

Crab cake: my hubby loves crab cakes. He enjoyed the crab cake from Herringbone because he was able to simply taste the crab meat without binders or fillers. The fries were cooked well & not greasy.

The atmosphere was great and had live music.

A great upscale restaurant in Waikiki. The menu is Californian, Hawaiian seafood forward. The chicken wings and truffle mash potatoes were exceptional. The rest of our food was really good too. Service was good, they were staff challenged but our waiter really made a huge effort to make up for it. Would definitely go back

Mauro was an amazing waiter. I celebrated my boyfriend's mom's birthday. There was complimentary strawberry cake for the birthday woman. They answered all our questions about the menu very well and very thoroughly. Super sweet and accommodating. Food was well prepared. The mentaiko pasta did take a long time to come out compared to the rest of our food but it was still very good.

Our family came here for our last dinner during our vacation and I have to say it was the best experience.

The plating and the flavor of the foods we ordered was perfect. Especially the Seafood Pasta and Seared Duck Breast was the best I've ever had. The prices were not cheap, but it was worth it!

The restaurant closed at 9:00 pm on a Sunday and we were late to our appointment. We had to stay well over 9 pm to finish our food, but not once we were rushed. Our server Jenner was the best server we ever met, and she definitely made our experience 10 times better. Thank you!

I searched up “bar patio” and found this place. What clinched it was the seafood focus. We have been to other places in the International Marketplace 3rd floor in previous years visiting Oahu. We ordered 2 appetizers and shared a main. The sashimi-style appetizers did not disappoint. Our favorite was the hamachi crudo with the truffle and yuzu vinaigrette and small diced crunch (yum). I also loved the micro green usage (chiso , cilantro?) for the hamachi and lobster. Hats off to the mixologist for well-crafted cocktails. I personally steer away from creamy/fruity drinks so I was happy with the grapefruit/rosemary margarita and the blood orange (whisky) sour. I would come back again! Mahalo.

I thought I had written a review on this place, but I guess not! This is one of the prettiest restaurants in my opinion.
This time we came for the honey's bday. I'll have to admit, I wanted to come here so I booked this place instead of a steakhouse. Luckily, he wasn't upset. We came a little early before our dinner reservations so we can have the HH oysters. Honestly, they are on the smaller portion. You cannot beat Canada or the PNW for oysters. However, the accompaniments were nice enough. They were out of tater tots so we had the shoestring fries with salmon roe. It was just ok for us.
I ordered the miso salmon and it was delish. I asked for it to be as rare as possible and they did not disappoint. The kid had the salmon salad which was excellent w flavor. I will definitely order this neck time. The hon ordered the risotto which was rich and flavorful. His only qualm is that it did not have a protein you can add to it. He would have loved some chicken tossed in (he's had that elsewhere so that's the comparison). I was luckily enough to obtain a free oyster shoot for a Yelp check-in (thanks Yelp!) and it was an explosion of flavors!
The ambiance is what gets me as it's so pretty. Eat on the lanai if you can. Because we were obtaining HH items as well, we were obligated to sit inside. Service can be slow at times but overall I love this restaurant and will continue to patronize it.
Parking was $2 with validation.

My mother & I were visiting Hawaii and came across this restaurant shopping. It's a beautiful atmosphere. There was live music, a trendy ambience, and great service. We had the perfect waiter, he came over to the table just enough w/out being intrusive whatsoever and was very knowledgeable about the menu and drinks. The chef came over and spoke with us to ask if everything was good and were we enjoying the special salad he had created for us. That made Herringbone Waikiki all the more special that he took the time to make sure it was a good experience we were having. I always appreciate when the chef or owner comes to greet you. Whenever in Honolulu I definitely recommend stopping in, they did not disappoint.

Came here twice. Once for breakfast and another time for some oysters. The environment is great. It’s on the rooftop of the mall so there were many people around. The breakfast was really good, but pricy because they use luxury ingredients. It would be great if they just do normal breakfast. That way people would come more often. The oysters were fresh and I like the Kimchee sauce they paired with it. The service was also nice too.

We walked into this lovely restaurant late one evening. I ordered the grilled calamari, and my sister ordered the hamburger. We tried each others and they were both amazing. The price was really good as well for the heart of the Waikiki tourist area. Service was professional and extremely pleasant. Didn't wait long at all for the food. It was all really close to perfect.

We went here to celebrate an elopement! The service was phenomenal! The food menu was vast and the food itself was stellar! Thank you so much for making this memorable day even better with a 5 star meal! Pricy but worth it. The ambiance is so quaint and natural.

WOW!! I'll start off by letting you know this place doesn't have the cheapest but at let the quality of food, drinks and service more than make up for this. The ambiance had us feeling like we were in a nice spot in Vegas which was nice. It was really nice, welcoming and felt "fancy" if you know what I mean. It's definitely a step or two above a typical eatery on the island. I was glad I dressed up with more than slippas and board shorts lol Our server, Jared, was awesome. Very helpful, attentive and friendly. He was all smiles and we enjoyed that.

Let's get to the real reason you're probably here...the food and drinks. We visited for the brunch and started with a mini seafood tower that had 3x prawns and 3x chilled oysters. This was really good and the sauces it came with were all bomb; chili pepper water, wasabi cocktail sauce and another one I can't recall but also really good. We also got the garlic fries and those are cooked to perfection! Crispy on the outside but good meat on the inside and not too big or thick where they are too meaty. I am not a fan of them being like that but that's just me.

There were a couple good sounding items on the brunch menu but in the end I went with the dry aged burger. Just so you know, the $23 price tag does not include fries or any side which was kind of a bummer but damn was that burger DELICIOUS!! I would 110% get it again! Their secret sauce was really good too and worth getting a side of. The wife got the papaya bowl. Damn was that good too!!! My only suggestion would be to see if you could add bananas because that would just take it to the next level!

Drinks...did someone say $5 mamosas?!! And you get 4x different juices to choose from; orange, pineapple, lilikoi and guava. I also got a bloody Maria, extra spicy, which was really good and I would definitely recommend.

It's in the International marketplace so there is PLENTY of parking but even with the validation, our parking still ran us $6. Is what it is, I guess.

Food and ambiance is great. Short staffed. Have to ask for water twice. There hardly any staff on the floor esp on the days that it was pretty packed. The seafood tower is so good and fresh!!!! Ordered surf and turf that definitely did not disappoint!!!! Will definitely come back.

We visited for happy hour and really enjoyed our time. We arrived around 3:30pm for happy hour and no one seemed to be there, so we left to try and find another option. Ended up walking the strip and coming back and really glad we did!
The service was friendly and accommodating (we had a baby with us) and our food came out really fast. If you like seafood, this is the place for you.
We had the Korean style chicken wings and crab cakes - so good! Forgot to take a picture beforehand, so here are the eaten wings lol

The decor in the restaurant sets a really cool vibe.
