Dined in last night. We came in quite late around 8:50, but they allowed us to be seated even though they close at 9:00 pm. I ordered the steak with pasta and it was delicious.... Easily one of the better steaks I've eaten even compared to other more expensive steak houses. The pasta was perfectly seasoned. Our server named Kai was excellent and he ensured we were well taken care of. The manager on duty was a very friendly lady. Together, they both ensured we enjoyed our meal. I definitely recommend! I will definitely be stopping by again. Mahalo! 🤙🤙 The best part was that the food was reasonably priced and over delivered on flavor... Fully exceeded any expectation!

Food was wonderful but service was lacking.

Food: We split a delicious chicken piccata (there was plenty for two) and a fresh garden salad (there was plenty of that as well), and the tiramisu dessert was excellent.

Service: We were seated at the time of our reservation, with warm bread and cold water waiting on the table. Our order was taken right away and the salad and entree arrived in reasonable times. The problem is that we never heard from our waitress again, who was busy talking to customers whom she seemed to know well. No one checked on us or our meals, and I had to go up to the bar to request another glass of wine because we weren't being monitored. We were only able to order the tiramisu by asking the bus boy when he was cleaning our table.

Our waitress finally returned at the end of our meal only to present the check. BTW, the prices are quite reasonable by Honolulu standards.

Despite the imperfect service, we'd return again because the food was so well presented, with an eye toward working our way through the entire menu.

A hidden gem in Honolulu!! I highly recommend to anyone looking for Italian food, and for anyone looking to try a little twist in the cuisine. The staff were very pleasant, and the ambience was super warm and classy. Our party of 6 had high compliments regarding the dishes that we got--I loved the complementary and fresh tasting bread, the rich oxtail soup, really cheesy fried cheese, and the kinoko pasta. One of the workers there was caring enough to suggest her own twist on the pasta, which was to add natto on top. I highly recommend this for anyone looking to try something new!

Wow delicious!!! We got the shrimp and scallop pink pasta, fettuccine shrimp alfredo, chicken parm and the lamb. We won't order the chicken parm again. But the pink pasta had the greatest flavor! The kids devoured the alfredo. They were very kind to our kids. Wonderful service!

My favorite place in town. I love to come here for Lamb. Few places in Honolulu that will serve lamb.

I always get greeted at the door with a whole lot of professionalism. They always ask me what’s my preference, table or bar, even when I am alone.

There’s usually a bit of people there. People love their food. Family oriented. Detail oriented service.

Their menu is mostly italian food, but they also have seafood included in the menu.

This is a true local ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ restaurant. Clean, ambient music, and easy to find parking.

Their food is very delicious. The owener's speciality is Wafu;Japanese pasta. My favorites are Matti pasta and Mentaiko pasta. In Hawaii, only a couple of places make Mentaiko pasta, so it's very rare and so good. The service is very friendly. I come here dinner time sometimes. Must try go and eat Wafu pastas here. The restaurant is new and very clean. They open at 10am, so I want to try the morning menu. There is parkin and also some street parking.

The place is really small so be patient, apparently reservations are preferred.

The complimentary bread was fresh and awesome.

The mushroom crostini was good, a little pricey but not bad. For 4 slices of baguette and 4 ounces of mushrooms I'd be ok for 8 bucks.

I got the shrimp and scallops pink sauce. The scallops were a little overcooked but the shrimp were perfect. The sauce was very good

We also got chicken parm which was really good.

The tiramisu was some of the best we've had on island.

I would give 3 or 4 stars however the service was excellent even with only 2 waitresses. They really put this place above all others.

“When you’re here, you’re family.” It’s the slogan for a certain Italian restaurant chain, but it should really be the slogan for LaCiccia. I can’t believe I haven’t already written a review!! My husband and I started dining here during the pandemic and it instantly became one of our regular go-to’s for a relaxing, no-fuss, Italian dinner. Amy is amazing and always remembers us, and admittedly, we don’t even come as often as we’d like. Her amazing memory really speaks to the level of customer service. We love LaCiccia and have brought our entire close friend group, even our visiting guests! It’s BYOB with a corkage fee so it’s great that you can bring your preferred libation. The portions are great/satisfying, the food is delicious, and the prices are even better! We love coming here for a relaxing, comfortable evening when we’re in the mood for good food and our favorite BYOB drinks. I can’t say enough good things. We’re going to make a better effort to dine in more often. We hope they stay in business forever!!

I'm a big fan of lasagna. I've ordered it in many restaurants over the years. Probably way too many. I also lived in Italy for a few years and so I'm a little snobby, I admit, when it comes to americanized italian food. But the lasagna I had here was EASILY the best I have ever had in my life. EVER. The sauce was amazing, it wasn't overly cheesy, just pure perfection. My husband's shrimp and scallop scampi was also a huge hit. And the calamari we had as an appetizer was cooked absolutely perfectly, not a second over or underdone. Unfortunately, I don't live in Honolulu or I would be back here on a weekly basis so I could try everything on the menu. This restaurant is absolutely worth checking out. Love, love, loved it.

I have to say this is my favorite place. We have been here more than any other restaurant. We basically tried more than half their menu and the food is always great and the service is on point. Our favorite perk about dining here is that it is BYOB with no corking fee! (Saves us a lot of money). Parking is semi-busy but there is always a few stalls available. Aimee always works her magic to accommodate a table for us. She is actually the main reason we come back every time, such a personable and welcoming vibe with her. I love that she treats all her customers like friends.

As for the food... We love the Rockefellers/Brianfellers. The calamari is amazingly super tender and the sauce is so good. The pasta portion is more than I can eat in one sitting (which means I have leftovers for lunch!) Oh! The bread. The warm complementary bread with melted butter... We like to eat the clams with it, or the bone marrow, or the sautéed mushrooms... (Now I made myself hungry)

Great food, over 20 dollars a person but worth it. The flavors of the sauce can't be beat. Had the oysters Rockefeller with a spicy garlic sauce on the side, yummy. Oxtail soup was good also with mud pie for dessert.

I went to LaCiccia with a friend for dinner. The ambiance of the restaurant is amazing. It is a very relaxing atmosphere. The portions are huge in my opinion. Be prepared for leftovers the next day. The prices - one cannot complain because they are very reasonable. The dessert is to die for - amazing! Highly recommend the tiramisu, it is made in house. It is BYOB and no cork fees. Highly recommend making reservations - talk to Amy. Social distancing and COVID regulations are followed. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. I highly recommend this restaurant and I will return.

Best kept secret in Honolulu. Everything we've had on the menu has been really good. They are busy during dinner. Go for lunch and you won't have to deal with the crowd. A must try.

Great food at reasonable prices. Italian theme with asian fusions. The restaurant is clean with a modern vibe and the wait staff was great. Must get the bone marrow with ginger sauce. I also recommend mentaiko pasta because not many places make it anymore and not many places make it right but they do. The oysters topped with tobiko is a game changer. I hope they make the mushroom pasta a regular menu item.

Food tasted very good, but just a little expensive. Portion of dishes was kind of big. The waitress (or cashier?) was very nice and professional. She recommended good dishes. BTW, the decor looked very fancy.

Don't know if I should let everyone know how great the food is here so I can always get a seat. Have been here several times and have never been disappointed with anything I ordered. Hole in the wall but fabulous food taste.
