Great place for poke. If you are tired of poke elsewhere with lots of add on like edmame, etc… just simple gradient here: fish, rice, sauce and optionally seaweed and furikake

They have octopus and one fish per day. It could be salmon or tuna or something else.

The food is very delicious. The fish is fresh. No “fishy” taste at all! We tried Hawaiian flavor, spicy and wasabi flavor. All great.

The portion looks small on picture but the box is deep. Good for one male.

Highly recommend for people want to have an amazing poke bowl.

Probably the best poke we had in Oahu! Came back again for seconds, fish was delicious and so tender. Small parking lot out front.

Ono is one of Honolulu classic places you have to go to when there. There is a small parking lot and there’s not much places to park so you’ll have wait until there’s a spot. The place very small and has about 2 picnic tables and a bench to eat outside. The service was ok, ladies were seem like they were rushing you and weren’t really friendly. Felt like just order, pay and go. The poke here does just hits differently for some reason. We had the miso ahi and the spicy taco and ahi and omg was it so buttery tasting. The ahi was so fresh and delicious. The price per lb was abit more $40/lb for ahi and $25/lb for take. Definitely a place to try.

This place has limited parking and it’s a small joint with no indoor seating. Now that that has been said, the food here is absolutely amazing! This place has the best poke that we have had on the island. They do have both and salmon as well as octopus. The shoyu ahi was extremely fresh while the shoyu salmon was super creamy. I would definitely go back again for more and this place is a must visit for your vacation.

Without a doubt, the best and freshest poke you can find in Oahu.
We have tried multiple popular poke joints all over the island, but 'til this day would find ourselves keep going back to Ono.
Been 7 years since our first visit and no other places can replace Ono.
Quality is consistently top-notch and service is quick and friendly. Love that they offer brown rice which is always cooked to perfection.

This is the poke place one needs to visit when in Hawaii. The product is fresh and the choices are abundant. You can do a combination of 2 orders, that way you can try a little bit of everything. I got Tako for the other half of my order (I don't really think Tako when I think poke) and it was delicious! My better half kept eating mine so I will need to go back for a re-visit. The place is small and seating is really only meant for quickly eating then leaving. Thanks again!!

Ono is one of my favorite poke shops in all of Hawaii. They serve up the freshest tasting fish with all the flavors you crave. The shop has won a few awards and been around for a while but the quality is still there since the first time I visited a few years ago.

Inside, the area is small. You order your bowl at the counter, then the poke is mixed fresh for you. Each poke bowl comes with a free soda or juice (though it’s probably included in the price already). The container does feel on the smaller side but the serving of fish is plenty and does leave you full after.

Outside, there are a few tables to eat at and they have their own small parking lot if you can get a spot. Overall, this place is close enough to Waikiki but out of the main hustle and bustle that you’ll want to come over and over!

My favorite spot for poke in Oahu! There’s usually a line out the door, but I haven’t ever had to wait all that long. The parking situation is tough though, we often have to have someone go around the block. The fish is as flavorful and fresh as you would hope and expect.

Whenever we're in Waikiki, we try to visit Ono Seafood. I still remember the first time we visited... we must have walked by it a couple of times before actually spotting it set back from the road. The signage is more noticeable nowadays but it's still a bit of a hole-in-the-wall.

We've tried their other poke before but our fav is the ahi. And while the poke goes well with rice, we try to just get the poke by itself now (can't afford to get too filled up on rice when you can eat more poke).

We got the Hawaiian style ahi poke, spicy ahi poke, and shoyu ahi poke on our last visit on April. Still one of the best places to get poke in the area.

This is the freshest poke you’ll find just outside of Waikiki! We got Hawaiian style ahi and miso ahi with a little seaweed salad side. Definitely recommend both those styles. The older gentleman that took our order was really kind and helpful with his recommendations too. Note that it’s a short bus ride from Waikiki. It’s fairly easy to get to as it’s a short walk from a bus stop. Despite being a little out of the way, it’s worth it to know what amazing poke is like!

Amazing poke. So happy they had a salmon option too! Devoured it. Got tempura crumbs on top too. Ahi shoyu and spicy salmon 10/10

Today we stopped by Ono and got three bowls. Really enjoyed the poke as the fish was fresh and wasn’t full of chewy sinews. One of the cool things about this spot is that they serve salmon poke too. Aside from that, the flavors have been relatively consistent with other good spots as they all use similar sauces (shoyu, spicy mayo, etc). They offer a beverage with each bowl, except the coconut water, and they offer niche beverages. Also be aware that there's only outdoor seating and it's quite limited with two tables and one long counter.

Very fresh and tasty! Wasabi ahi and spicy salmon both delicious! (Sorry that I ate half already…) Small place to order food and few bench seats outside. Limited parking so we parked at the Safeway and walked here. Worth the walk! :)

After trying so many poke spots in Oahu, I must say that Ono Seafood is one of my top favorites. The shop is quite small and there are only 2-3 tables outside, so their food is mostly meant for takeout. They share a parking lot with other businesses, so you don't have to worry too much about that. Luckily, the day my friends and I went, the line wasn't too long. It didn't take long to order either since there was a menu outside for you to look at.

When you order a poke bowl, it comes with a free drink. I loved every option I chose! The fish was so fresh and the texture was perfect. Every bite has so many flavors and it was great. The portion was enough for a whole lunch. I was stuffed by the end.

Ono Seafood definitely lived up to the hype. It's a must when visiting Oahu!

During my first visit to Hawaii, a friend introduced me to this wonderful spot. When I returned, I made it my mission to come back here—and it was absolutely worth the wait! While prices have risen due to inflation, it remains a fantastic place to indulge. Highly recommend!

The poke bowls here are delicious.

We got the spicy ahi, shoyu ahi, and some drinks. They even have brown rice but it was sold out for the day. Some of the best Poke we had in Honolulu. No wonder this place is pretty popular.

Parking is pretty scarce and there are only 2 benches. Highly recommend coming here if you’re visiting!

The best poke bowl we have ever had in Hawaii, shoyu a-hi & wasabi a-hi is a must. Also got a complementary drink while ordering bowl set. There’s two free parking space in front of the store, or you can park at the nearby streets - lots of spaces.

Ono Seafood takes the crown for serving the best poke I’ve ever had. Their non-mayo sauces are a real game changer for me, offering a perfect alternative to the often too-rich mayo options. The spicy Hawaiian octopus was a standout dish, so incredibly delicious that I’m already wishing for another visit. Just a heads-up: make sure to check their opening hours before you go, as their schedule can be a bit unique and not the most straightforward. Don’t miss out on this gem!
